It was evening. Nigam's got ready and went to Nandra Mansion. At entrance dadi did Sid's aarti

Sid took her blessings then he too Ad's blessings. Nigam's enter in Nandra Mansion. There was only few guests, only close ones

Ad and dadi with Ridnushka greet all the guests and sid's family. After sometime. Priest came. Everyone greeted priest

Priest: Shall we start Tilak?
Dadi: Ji

Abhi make Sid sit on sofa. Sm held her pallu on Sid's head covering it

Priest ask dadi to do Sid's aarti. She did

Priest: Kanya ke pita, ladke ke sar par sehra bande (Girl's father tie turban on boy's head)

Ad did as priest said. Priest was chatting mantras. Sid was following all rituals but was confused why these rituals means. Ash saw his facial expressions

Ash (giggle): Sid don't get confused. This rituals means mumma's boy is gonna be now some's king. So girl's father tie turban of boy's head. Indicating him be ready for my daughter's responsibility

Sid nodded

Priest: Ab Kanya ke pita, Var ko nariyal, gaay or apni beti zimedari Var ke hath de (Girl's father give coconut, Cow and daughter's responsibility to boy)

Ad gave sid a statue of cow, coconut and lastly wisper in his ear

Ad (wisper in sid's ear): My daughter's safety and happiness I am handing you
Sid (smiled): She will be my responsibility

Ad patted his head with tears in eyes. After that everyone from avu's side gave blessings to Sid and last Ad did his aarti and applied kumkum with 2-3 crop of rice on sid's forehead

Priya (excited): Now can we bring bhabhi for ring ceremony?
Dadi: Yaa sure

Anu went with avu's cousin to bring her down. Till the time how Abhi and Harsh can leave chance of teasing sid. They both sat either side of Sid. Ridham too sat with them

Harsh: Sid your marriage is in 20days. So I want to suggest you one thing. Meet guest and remember their names
Ridham (excitedly smirk): Yaa you should or some guest will come and twist your ear on stage at your reception

Abhi glared ridham and harsh but ignored him and hi-fied

Sid (confused): What you both are talking about?
Harsh: I will explain you. At the time of Abhi bhai and Vaishu bhabhi's reception. Some guest went on stage to meet bhai bhabhi.

Girls too came there and sat with boys

Ridham: He went on stage. Abhi and Vaishu was busy in talking with each other. They saw him and took his blessings
Harsh (controlling his laugh): Then bhai asked bhabhi if she knows the guest who was in front of both
Ridham: You know what?
Harsh: Guest was Mr. Sharma
Sid (shocked): Dad's friend's brother?
Vaish: Then you know what happened?
Priya: Bhabhi I am curious. Come on tell fast
Vaish (smirk): Uncle twist his ear in front of all on stage

Harsh, Ridham with girls burst out laughing. Abhi was glaring all

Abhi (rolling his eyes): If you are done with laughing can you guys move from here? Avneet is coming

Sid looked at Avneet. She was looking so beautiful. Sid was staring her. Ridham patted sid's shoulder

Ridham: At least close your mouth

Sid came back to senses. Anu make avni stand beside Sid. Dadi came and took veil on avni's head. Abhinavi, Harshnoor, Ridnushka, Priya, Shivi, Sid roll their eyes. Sm looked at them and chuckled lightly

Sid (wisper): Looking like goddess

Avni smiled looking at Sid. She looked at him for the first time she looked at him properly

Avni (wisper): You are also looking good
Sid (shocked): Only good?
Avni (embarrassed, wisper): Umm.... I don't know
Sid (smiled): Calm down. It's okay. I was just teasing you

Avni nodded with smile. Just then her eyes fell on abhi. Abhi was playing with Arshiya. She smiled looking at him with Arshiya and aadi

Avni's pov: I always wished for him but never knew about his side. I never wanted to come between Sir and Vaishnavi bhabhi. I am glad that I am over from sir now. All thanks to him

She looked at Sid. Who was already staring her with grin. Avni smiled nervously

Dadi: Let's start the ceremony

Sm handed ring to Sid

Sd: Wait! Before sid make her wear ring. I want to say something
Ad: Yes. Mr Nigam

Sd went and stood beside Avneet

Sd (patting her head): Beta for me there is no difference between you, Ashnoor, Vaishnavi and Priya. You are my daughter. I know for world I am your father in law but I promise I will try to be your father not making you feel like I am your in law

Avni smiled at his words

Sd: So like Vaishnavi, Ashnoor and Priya I want you also not to take veil in front of me. They way I will be your father. Same way I am hoping you to be my daughter

Sm took off avni's veil

Sm (cups her face): Feel free to say and ask if anything makes you uncomfortable

Avni nodded. Ad was having tears in his eyes. A father's heart was happy to see her daughter's happiness at the same time same heart is shuttering thinking about leaving his princess

Dadi was also happy looking at avni smiling. She wiped her tears

Sd (kiss avni's forehead): Don't feel like I am your father in law. God will always bless you both (He patted sid's shoulder)

Sm and Sd moved from there. Priest started chatting mantras then ask them to slid ring

Sid sat on his knees

Everyone except elders (shout): Woho!!!

Dadi (feeling awkward): Damad ji what are you doing? This isn't right please stand up

She said joining her hands

Sm (held dadi's hand): Maa ji calm down. It's not crime. He should ask properly for this relation. Don't worry it's not wrong

Dadi nodded as it was done by Sid. She can't stop him but she was feeling awkward

Sid (forwarded his hand): Will you marry me?

Avni hesitantly accepted. Sid sense her hesitation and blink eyes looking at her. He stood up and slid ring in her finger. Everyone clapped and cheered

Dadi handed ring to avneet. Avneet slid ring in sid's finger. Everyone cheered congratulating them. All were happy and was having chit chat with each other and guests

Vaish (smirk): Mom, Sid and avneet shouldn't spend time with each other alone?
Sm (smirk): Sid you want to?

Sid blush not know how to handle them. Avni was looking down smiling

Sm (chuckled): Alright! Avneet beta take him around and spend sometime with each other
Dadi (came to them listening talks): Avni bacha take damad ji to garden side. Till the time servants arrange snacks and juice

Avni nodded. Sid went from there. Family was busy with each other and guests

In garden

Sid: So? How was the surprise?
Avni: It was amazing. Thank you for making my birthday so special. Since night. You know this is my first birthday on which I cutted cake, celebrate it, enjoyed, got gifts
Sid (bowing): Pleasure is all mine madame

Avni chuckled at him

Sid: So how was your experience with western wearing?
Avni (excited): It was amazing. You know I always admire girls in college who wears such dresses. In front of all in college. I look like behan ji who always wears Indian. Seniors used to bully me (tears brimming in her eyes)

Sid (held her hands): I know! Few days back bhai told me about these. Even in exams someone tried to bully you. Same day bhai told me

Avni nodded. Sid wiped her tears

Sid: Don't worry. I know western makes you uncomfortable but dresses you wore today were fully comfortable for you, right?
Avni (nodded): Yaa. They weren't short and revealing
Sid (cups her face): Yeah! I had purchased those dresses. If you want you can wear those after marriage
Avni (shocked): Those wasn't for pics only
Sid: No. Anshi and priya helped me. So we bought it. You can later on if you want
Avni (nervous): No. What uncle, aunty will think
Sid (sighed): Avneet, they said you are daughter for them. So don't worry about it. Ashnoor bhabhi, Vaishnavi bhabhi, priya wears western. They don't mind. Relax

Avni nodded and mumbled a Thank you. Sid smiled but someone heard these talks and was shocked

After few minutes. Servant came and ask sidneet to join everyone. Sidneet nodded and went. After having snacks. Enjoying and having dinner too. Everyone bid bye and went to there respective homes

Ad, Dadi and avni too went in rooms and changed into comfy clothes. It was 11.30 at night

Dadi came in avni's room with coal

Dadi: Avni bacha listen
Avni: Yes dadi? And what's all these?

Dadi explained her everything

Avni (scared): I need to walk on these?
Dadi (cups her face, teary eyes): Sorry gudiya. I can't help in it. It's for your good. Please

Avni nodded. They went in balcony. Dadi burn the coal and both waited for few minutes to let the coal burn properly till the time dadi arranged cold water, antiseptic, medicines and everything

Avni was damn scared and nervous. She don't know what to do. As coal was enough burnt. Dadi asked avni to walk on it

Avni hesitantly stood in front of coal. Dadi held her hand and helped her. Avni's feet was paining like hell. It was really difficult for her to do but she have to

She was crying cause of pain. So dadi was at avni's condition. Don't know how avni walked on burning coal for 7mins but her condition was hella worst

As soon as 7mins done. Dadi quickly make Avneet sit on chair which is arranged specifically for Avneet

Avneet was crying violently cause of pain. She was feeling dizzy as well. Her body rise. Dadi was scared
