( A/N: hey!!! This story is out of my imagination, so I've added many concepts of mine. If you don't understand some thing, feel free to ask! )

"Say it again....." Aadhira gaped at her best friend, Shraddha's soul mate as if he had grown two heads.

Again? She wondered.

" I love you." Shraddha spoke reluctantly, her voice came low and forced. She hated moments like this. Her so called soul mate wouldn't rest until she confesses her love for him. But, the problem was, she didn't love him. How could she love a monster!

Aadhira knew very well what her friend was going through. She has always known how possessive werewolves were for their soul mates! But, somehow she thanked all the Gods in the heaven, for not giving Shraddha an Alpha as a mate. Alphas are famous for their possessiveness and obsession for their soul mate.

Shraddha glanced at Aadhira for help. It was only Aadhira who could save her from her soul mate, Jay. Right from the moment she had hit puberty, werewolves couldn't harm her physically. Why, no one knew!

" I love you too my Love." Jay told Shraddha. Truth was laced in his voice. He really loved his soul mate, Shraddha from his heart and soul. The beast inside him, urged him to hug his woman. And so he did. Shraddha gasped a little, as she had gone used to this. It was just three days ago that he had found out about her being his soul mate. And from that day onwards, her life had become a living hell.

Aadhira could see her friend getting suffocated due to the strong grip he had on her. This was the time she decided to interrupt.

" The lecture is about to begin ." Aadhira spoke low and steady. Her head was facing the ground, as she didn't want to enrage a werewolf. She knew, what her fate would be if she tried to take a werewolf's soul mate away from him/her.

She heard a growl erupt from Jay, and Aadhira rolled her eyes in her head. Jay wanted to snap at her for interrupting the moment he was having with his woman, but he couldn't. Right from the day he had met Aadhira, he couldn't snap at her. Why? He didn't know. His wolf couldn't disrespect her.

Jay ignored Aadhira and looked at his soul mate.

" I don't want you to talk to any male. Or else....." Jay threatened, but Shraddha didn't let him finish.
" I won't. " Shraddha spoke in her low timid voice. Jay smiled and hugged her again.

" Good. I'll pick you after your last class ends, and....." he gripped her chin lightly and made her look at him. "...... DO NOT TRY TO RUN AWAY." he threatened.

Shraddha couldn't say anything, so she just nodded.

Jay finally decided to leave his little woman. But, before that he kissed her intensely on her lips. Aadhira looked away, to give the couple their privacy. The sound of their kiss was making her feel disgusted, but she remained silent. What could she say anyway! She was just a normal, powerless human being.

" I'll go now. Don't miss me much." Jay said. This time, Aadhira again looked at him as if he had gone mad.

Can't he see she doesn't love him!!!!! Aadhira exclaimed in her mind.

" Okay." Shraddha replied, while internally cursed him with every word she knew.

Finally, Jay left for his car reluctantly. When his car drove far away from their view, Aadhira faced Shraddha who was still staring at the car which has now vanished from sight.

" Don't miss me? ??" Aadhira asked sarcastically.

Shraddha glanced at her angrily, her anger was ofcourse towards Jay. She bent down and picked up a stone. She threw it towards the direction where the car had gone.

" f*** o**" she screamed.

The student passing by them, who were mostly werewolves, looked at her with disgust. Aadhira calmed her down.

" Hey! Don't get mad over that dog. He isn't worth it." She said.

" You know what, you are right. I have six hours to stay away from him. Finally, I can enjoy. These three days were no better than hell." Shraddha confessed.

They both turned around and faced the main gate of their college.

Werewolf college of medical science and research, Jaipur.

(A/N: FOR non indians: Jaipur is a city in Rajasthan, India. Google it if you wish. It's an awesome place." )

" I really missed you, Shraddha. I thought, that dog won't allow you to come to the college. " Aadhira said lowly, so that only she can hear her.

They started walking towards the college.

" You thought right. He didn't allow me to continue my studies. " Shraddha replied.

" Ouch! Why?"

" He wants to take care of me by himself. He wants me to bear his child, oh sorry...... pups. He also wants me to wait for him every night on his bed, and ask him to make love to me." She replied with disgust.

" That's so cheap." Aadhira concluded.

" Oh dear, you haven't heard enough. If I will disclose all the things he had done and told me in these three days, you would vomit right here. " she said.

" Shraddha, I am so sorry."

They showed their college identity cards to the sensor, which granted them entry.

" Don't be. It's not your fault. " Shraddha replied rudely. Ofcourse, she was jealous of her friend as she had to face the fate of having a monster soul mate, whereas Aadhira didn't. But, she also prayed to God, to not give Aadhira any mate. She loved her friend more than the jealousy that was creeping out of nowhere.

"Why did he say, to not run away?" Aadhira asked curiously, as they walked towards their lockers.

Shraddha couldn't help but chuckle at this.

" That is because, I tried to run away the first two days. And frankly, I almost succeeded, if not for this....." Shraddha spoke and pulled her scarf out of her neck.

Aadhira froze as she saw the bite of a werewolf. It was crimson red and the shape of the teeth were clearly visible.
" This is ..... insane!" Aadhira exclaimed.

" he is a psycho." Shraddha stated.

" Why do they bite? I mean what do they get by hurting the one whom they call their soul mate?" Aadhira asked sincerely. She seriously wondered why, werewolves bite or vampire suck the blood? It just didn't make sense.

"You wanna know why?" Shraddha asked with an evil smile.

" Please enlighten me!" Aadhira said jokingly, to which Shraddha laughed.

" then see." She said and looked to her left then right. Her gaze fell in a couple, who were standing in front of their locker. Well, they were not standing, they were kissing the hell out of each other.

"Hey, get the f*** out of here." Shraddha scolded the two werewolf couple.

The male werewolf growled to see who had the audacity to shout at him. Aadhira was counting how many seconds she had before her neck would be snapped in two halves. But, looking at the expression of the male werewolf, Aadhira couldn't help but gape. Her mouth fell open. She saw the male bow lightly and reluctantly to Shraddha, and left. His soul mate walked behind him too.

Aadhira looked towards her friend, and asked for an explanation. They were humans, and till today, the werewolves treated them as waste. But, today they bowed to her? This was out of her intelligence.

" Did they just bow to me?" Aadhira asked getting shocked.

" No. They bowed to me." Shraddha replied.

" Oh please!!" Aadhira scoffed and opened her locker.

" What, you don't believe me?" Shraddha challenged her in a friendly manner.

" Why would they bow to you? What happened in a day?" Aadhira asked while she removed the books required for the first half.

" Because of this." Shraddha pointed at her neck where the mark was.

"I don't get it." Aadhira said.

" I am Jay's soul mate, which makes me his equal. He is the head of the 'warrior wolf committee, Jaipur. This means, all dogs below him will have to give respect to me. " Shraddha smiled proudly.

" Me too?" Aadhira asked.

" You're not a dog Aadhira? " Shraddha joked.

" But, how do they know, that you are his soul mate?" Aadhira asked.

" Curious are we? " Shraddha teased her.

" Oh speak already. " Aadhira said. They started walking towards their classroom.

" When a werewolf bites his mate, and mates with her, his scent gets mixed with his soul mate. This helps the other males to identify who the woman belongs to. And if her scent is stronger than the other males, then the other males have to bow to her. " she explained.

" And, if her scent is less than the other males?" She asked.

" Then, she will have to bow to them. AND NO MORE QUESTION ABOUT THESE DOGS. " she said.

" Last....Please. " Aadhira begged sarcastically.

" Okay. " Shraddha said.

" How do you know all this. Last time I checked, we both sleep during 'werewolf education' . " she said.

" Jay thought it was important for me to know everything about werewolves, before we mate." Shraddha confessed.

" Oh my god? You're not a virgin anymore?" Aadhira asked while bringing her palm over her mouth.

" a werewolf never waits, Aadhira. They are monsters- cold hearted monsters." Shraddha whispered angrily. Scenes of the first night came into her mind when Jay forcefully bit her and mated with her. A shiver of disgust ran through her spine and she couldn't help but shake.

Aadhira placed her hand over her shoulder to soothe her emotionally. She knew exactly how her friend was feeling. She couldn't imagine herself being mated to some monster.

" But I am thankful, that I didn't get an Alpha as a soul mate." Shraddha confessed. Aadhira agreed with her.

They entered the class room and as usual sat on the last bench. The first lecture for every class, was 'werewolf education'.

" God knows why we study about these dogs?" Aadhira whispered, making sure no other werewolf could hear her. Shraddha smiled back and gave her a light nudge.

" So that, the werewolf students can score more than the humans." Shraddha reasoned.

" Nonsense! No matter what, these monsters can't study. Can't they see, these dim wit dogs hardly score above 60% marks in main papers! " Aadhira scoffed.

" And we hardly score more than 60% in werewolf education paper!" Shraddha said.

" True!" Aadhira said lowly. 'werewolf education' was the only paper in which she hardly scored anything. No matter how much she studied, she just never got marks above 65 in this paper. Thanks to her that she receives full marks in other main medical papers, or else the university would have kicked her out of the college.

Yes, Aadhira was a tremendously studious student. She was the most intelligent student in the class. But, she never received the honour, because she was a mere human! And human's status was like sh*t in the world now.

Her memories suddenly turned back and she recalled the days when the monsters were only but a myth! Her parents and she used to have awesome moments with other humans. But everything changed when the monsters literally declared a war against humans for power. Humans ofcourse lost the battle, and since then the monsters ruled the world. Her parents also died in the battle and she wondered why she was not dead!

It took almost three months for Aadhira to get used to new rules and laws imposed by the monsters. Everything had changed since then. The whole geography had taken a U-turn.

One kind of a monster ruled one particular area. The whole Asia and Europe were ruled by werewolves. North and south America were ruled by vampires. Australia is ruled by witches. And Africa is ruled by Angels/Fairies. Aadhira cursed herself for getting born in India, which is obviously a part of Asia. She despised the werewolves who were her superior. But, then she thinks, werewolves are better than vampires! Maybe!

She never had imagined, world would take such a turn!

Her memories instantly faded when somebody hit the back of her head. She glared at Shraddha.

" Teacher!" Shraddha informed.

Aadhira mouthed an oh, and stood up to greet the teacher.

" Good morning students...." Mrs. Singh said. All the students replied except the two humans in the class. Yes, there were only two humans in a class of forty werewolves.

When the class settled, Mrs. Singh spoke.

" So, I hope you all are ready for the speech that you have to deliver!" She asked.

" Yes." The class chorused.

Aadhira and Shraddha shared worried glances.

What speech???? Aadhira and Shraddha spoke together lowly.

Before Mrs.Singh could start calling the students on the stage, Aadhira quickly stood up from her seat.

" Mam??" Aadhira called.

Mrs. Singh glanced at the human and couldn't help but feel disgusted. Aadhira didn't care either. She was used to get such a response from every teacher and students.

"Yes?" The teacher asked.

" Mam, I think there's a mistake. We were not informed about any speech!" Aadhira said.

" That's your problem. I specifically mentioned about this to the class representative. She informed everybody. " Mrs. Singh said.

Aadhira clenched her teeth in anger.

" But, mam I was not informed!" Aadhira repeated.

" Me too!" Shraddha spoke.

" Then you should have asked her!" Mrs. Singh said.

What the f***! Aadhira cursed internally. She knew the CR did that intentionally.

" Yes mam. We are sorry. " she said with clenched jaw. She was fuming with anger but she couldn't say anything, or else her internal marks would be badly affected. She took her seat and stared at her textbook, which ironically had a front cover of a wolf howling in the direction of the moon.

Aadhira took her pen and stabbed the wolf with the pen. Shraddha laughed at her and whispered.

" If only, this could actually work!"
Aadhira glared at her with pouted lips.

" Get ready to fail this semester." Aadhira said.

" So, let's start with first roll no. .... come Shanaaya. " Mrs. Singh announced.

Aadhira sighed in relief, as she knew she had enough time to prepare for something. She never paid attention to this class, as she always fell asleep during the lecturers which Mrs. Singh gave on werewolves. But, today she promised to listen to the students speech.

Maybe, I can get some information from these dogs! She thought.

The She-werewolf approached the stage and cleared her throat. She looked at the teacher, waiting for her to give a topic.

" So, your topic is to talk about...... history of werewolf. Time limit is only five minutes, so try to limit your words. " Mrs. Singh said.

" Good morning friends. My name is Shanaaya, and I feel honoured to talk about the history of werewolves. Werewolves, once considered as a myth by stupid humans, now rule the world. But coming into power wasn't easy.

The humans are selfish creatures who always care about profits. Their thirst for power and money exceeded all the limits and the beautiful earth was no longer what it used to be once. The forests were cleared at a tremendous rate, and the green house gases polluted the atmosphere like hell. The supernatural creatures couldn't survive in such a situation. So, all the supernatural creatures joined hands and swore to make the earth as it was once. This could be done only by destroying the whole species of humans. But, there was a problem. Humans are creatures of the Almighty. God loves them from his heart. So, the supernatural creatures couldn't actually kill them. So, they approached the witches. The witches agreed with the werewolves and vampires. They called upon the fairies by using their power of spells. The fairies appeared and listened to the grievances of the others. The fairies also agreed with them and they promised to talk to God. After a month, the fairies appeared on earth again and announced the new law made by God.

According to the new law, the supernatural creatures were allowed to do anything they want to save the world. It also included killing of the humans. But, there was a condition.

The condition stated that, after the new law was established, every supernatural creatures would have a soul mate which could be a human.

This brought a problem to our ancestors, as they couldn't kill the humans now. What if, one of the human turns out to be someone's soul mate! This was a problem. But after a week they agreed to this condition, for the welfare of Earth.

That is when the Great War started. Within two weeks, humans lost the battle and supernatural creatures came into power. The humans who surrendered were not killed ofcourse, as they might come out to be someone's soul mate. But, till then three fourth of the human population was wiped off. And supernatural creatures became more in number.

The names of the continents were changed. And new territories replaced the old nations made by humans. But, not all names were changed- like Jaipur! Since different supernatural creatures are natural enemies, they agreed to divide land equally between each other. This is how, land division took place.

The then known Asia and Europe, were renamed as Goddess moon territory.
The then known Australia was named as witches spell.
The then known North and South America was taken by Vampires and is called sweet blood. And ofcourse, fairies took Africa, which is now called the wing island.

The efforts taken by our ancestors were appreciable. And we all are thankful to them that they returned us the earth that once used to be. " The she - wolf finished her speech.

All the students applauded for her.

" Very well explained Shanaaya. Now... Arijit come." Mrs. Singh called.

The boy named Arijit stood and walked towards the stage. He too was a werewolf, Aadhira could say just by his look.

"Your topic of speech is..... Goddess Moon territory." Mrs. Singh announced.

" Good morning guys! I am Arijit. And I will talk about the werewolf territory. Goddess moon territory is ruled by werewolves. It is the most beautiful and green continent at present. And seriously, I am so proud of it. Werewolves love to live in woods, so our authority has decided to replant trees as much as possible. Before going into much detail, I would like to tell you about the rank system in werewolf territory. The highest position or rank is taken by the Alpha King- who is at present Mr.Nicolas. He resides in North territory as the main head office of our territory is in North. He has a mate or I should say we have a Luna Queen to rule us.

After Alpha King, comes the five alpha's of the five regions of our territory. I would like to directly talk about our alpha. Our region comes under the South Goddess Moon. Our Alpha, Mr. Arnav is regarded as the strongest of the other four by the Alpha King.

Goddess Moon territory has the largest number of forests after Africa. What else should I say..... it's just beautiful!" Arijit finished his little speech.

" Okay.... Now, Megha come and talk about Alpha Arnav." Mrs. Singh announced.

Aadhira listen everything with 100% attention. She knew about this Alpha. He was the Alpha of the region where she resided. She had seen his picture, but never met him. But, since he was her Alpha, she listened to whatever the shewolf was saying. A question may come about this Alpha, she wondered.

" Hello. I am Megha and I am so excited to talk about our Alpha. Alpha Arnav, is 28 years old and is one of the youngest Alpha of all times. He received inheritance when he was 25 years old. The ex- Alpha was a very powerful man, and the current Alpha is thought to be more powerful than him. He topped the werewolf royal university- a university for the royal family of werewolves. He lives in the head quarters of South Goddess Moon which is two days away from Jaipur- if travelled via public transport.

His father and mother had already moved to the kingdom of Alpha King, according to the werewolf law.

He is the only child of the family and so he lives alone in his mansion. Yes, he lives alone. He hasn't found his soul mate yet. And, articles say that, he has turned more violent due to this. His desperation to meet his soul mate is evident to anybody who looks at him. So, we all pray to Goddess Moon to make him meet his soul mate as soon as possible.

Our Alpha, do not like publicity and this is why very few information is available about him. His personal information like his favourites, is unavailable in Internet. So, this is all I know. And, last but not the least, our Alpha has very poor anger management skill, and he is very obsessive towards the things that belongs to him. These are not my words! I read an article which was given by his Beta. " the girl finished her speech.

Aadhira rolled her eyes.

Was the last sentence really necessary? She wondered.

Other students' speech went by and the topics given to them didn't seek Aadhira's attention. Thankfully, only thirty students came to the class today. When the last roll no. of werewolf students reached, she straightened herself in sitting position as her number was next.

" Okay.... Anjali, come and talk about soul mates." Mrs. Singh announced.

The whole class howled in joy, as their favourite topic has come. Some even said, she was lucky to get this topic. But, Aadhira and Shraddha rolled their eyes as usual.

"Hey everyone. I am Anjali, and I shall talk about soul mates- our other half.

Our other half! It may sound very Cliché, but it's true and we werewolf know it better than anyone else. Well surely, vampires also get soul mates, but very rarely. But this is not so with werewolves.

Every werewolf has a soul mate. Thanks to the moon Goddess! A werewolf senses his/her soul mate by their scent. The scent of their mate is very attractive and can be realised from a large distance. The confirmation of the soul mate is felt, when the werewolf looks in the eye of their soul mate! Time seems to stop and sparks fly. Both the werewolves feel a wave of lust and desire. This is why, a werewolf never waits to mark and complete the mating process.

But, this process is a bit different when one of the soul mate comes out to be a human. Human can't feel the attraction and lust that their other half werewolf feels. They realise their soul mate only when the werewolf claims to be their's.

Coming to the mark or claim that the werewolf gives to their soul mate by biting on her/his neck. A mark is a very special thing to any werewolf. It ensures your safety and tells other werewolves to stay away! The marking is pleasurable for werewolves, but it is painful for humans. Therefore, the werewolf is supposed to bite his soul mate two times if she is a human. The second time, the marking isn't painful.

While marking, the werewolf shares their blood and scent.

When the soul mates meet for the first time, the werewolf's wolf side gets dominating and primal instinct comes to the surface. They kind of lose their sanity, because all they see at that moment is their soul mate. What happens after the sanity appears is very well known to us. Werewolf loves their soul mate unconditionally, and they are the only weakness of the wolf!

Due to lack of time, I can't say much. But, one thing is for sure, lucky are those who get their soul mates! " The girl finished her speech dramatically.

Shraddha scoffed at the last comment lowly.

" Very good! Now..... Aadhira come." The teacher called.

Aadhira approached the stage and glanced at the teacher for the topic.

" Talk about...... how to please your soul mate." The teacher said and smirked. Ofcourse, she did that intentionally. All the werewolf teachers hold a grudge against human students, and they never leave a chance to get into their nerves!

Aadhira knew this very well. She hated all the teachers for being so partial. But, her main concern was the speech right now.

"Sorry to interrupt again mam, but I don't know about this topic." Aadhira confessed. How would she know something like this. Shraddha felt bad too!

" And why is that so? Why don't you pay attention in the class?"

" Mam, I do listen to the lectures, but I can't recall it now!" She lied. She always slept during her lectures- especially when it came to the topic of soul mates.

" Then that's not my problem. You should have read it in the library! " Mrs Singh reasoned.

Aadhira clenched her jaw again.

How am I supposed to study about werewolves in the library when I have more important things to study! Aadhira thought.

It was true! Human students were allowed to use library only for two hours in a day. So, obviously Aadhira's priority would be to refer medical books than to look for some mating ritual!

" So, are you going to speak or should I give a zero to you?" The teacher asked.

Some marks is better than zero! Aadhira thought and started speaking. But, whatever she spoke didn't make any sense! How was she supposed to know about pleasing a werewolf soul mate, when she didn't have one!

" Good morning. My name is Aadhira and I shall talk about umm. ... pleasing a werewolf soul mate." Aadhira felt disgusted by even talking about it. Humans always keep s*x a personal thing. But for werewolf, it meant the same as eating food! " the soul mate can please the werewolf by giving him/her freedom of choice and speech. If she wants to leave the werewolf, he should allow it. He should not force her into this soul mate thing and should not mark her against her wish. In short, he should let her go....." she was speaking her heart when the class suddenly growled. She looked at her teacher, only to find her glaring at her.

" Get out of the class. You get no marks." Her teacher said with anger evident in her voice.

Maybe, I shouldn't have said about the leaving thing! Aadhira thought. But, it was late.

She left the class, and walked for the next class. The first lecture was about to get over.

AFTER FIFTEEN MINUTES:

" Are you insane?" Shraddha scolded Aadhira as they sat at the first bench of their next class: drugs and their mechanism

" I don't think I said anything wrong! It's their problem if they can't hear anything against themselves! " Aadhira said.

" That's okay! But, what about the marks? Aadhira you know you can't fail in this paper! Even though, this paper might not be significant in terms of getting a job, but we have to pass it in order to get a degree!" Shraddha explained.

" I know, Shraddha! It's not like I am doing this intentionally. What I said was what I felt. Forget it.....it's only a month more! Our final exams are approaching, and after than we'll get our degree and we'll be finally free from this hell hole!" Aadhira said and smiled a little.

" By the way, do you know where our exam centre is going to be???" Shraddha asked.

" Don't tell me, it's far from here. I've already spent enough money this time! And now, I am on the verge of poverty!" Aadhira pouted.

" Don't worry! It isn't far this time. It's near the south werewolf headquarters."

"Thank god! But how will I go? I am sure Jay will be dropping you there!"

"Stupid, you can come with us! "

"As if Jay will allow it?"

" Oh don't worry! He will do exactly what I want!" Shraddha said with a big smile.

" How?"

" Do you know what I asked for the first promise?" Shraddha asked.

" What's a first promise?" Aadhira asked.

" You seriously don't know anything about soul mates!"

"Yes I don't! And I don't want to know either!"

Shraddha sighed, and felt it better to just come to the topic already.

" First promise, is a promise which a werewolf gives or takes, for his soul mate. Stupid, I know. But, for the first time, he would do anything she asks him. So, I asked him, to let me be friends with you!" Shraddha said happily.

" Oh my god! Why did you waste this first promise thing on me? You should have asked him to let you go! "

"First of all, first promise doesn't include letting the soul mate go! And secondly, that dog was forcing me to leave you and join other b!tches. This is why, I asked him to let me be friends with you." Shraddha said.

" That's so sweet of you, Shraddha! I love you." Aadhira said with a smile.

Shraddha laughed and nudged her.

" Don't ever say that in front of Jay! Or else, he will kill you out of jealousy. " she laughed.
