Once Laura heard that from Victor she didn't know what to do because she knew she couldn't go back to her father or his pack and she couldn't stay on another pack's land so she didn't know what to do. "Just know darling that I will never hurt you, you are safe with me" replied Victor once he said that the look on Lura's face changed. She didn't know whether to believe him or not she didn't even know him. Regardless, he was all she had at the moment and if he was already offering this, then, maybe, she could use it to her advantage. "Thanks, I will keep that in mind but for now I want you out of my house" Laura said as she started pushing the alpha out once out Laura just cleaned up the mess from the fight. After she pushed him out all Victor could do was just stand there by the door thinking what did he do to be put in the dog house.

THE NEXT DAY

Laura woke up and got ready for work but when she got to the front door she could still smell the alpha from last night. That was a scent she couldn't forget but for now, she just pushed it away and just went to her job. All day Laura couldn't get the alpha out of her head she even thought she saw him at her job but no it was just her mind playing tricks on her. Once she got off she decided to go for a run in the woods she hadn't had a good run in years she almost forgot what it felt like. After her run she went home to finish cleaning from the fight once she was done cleaning she decided to train because as her father once told her "every wolf has to train to stay in control". While she was training she couldn't help but think about Victor the alpha it's like she felt some sort of connection but then it could be nothing.
