Back in the Spooky Forest
We get another dissolving transition that transitions to Kate amd Humphrey walking through the forest back to the exit
KATE: Okay, we're almost out of the forest.
HUMPHREY: Good, cause I can't take anymore of this creep fest.
Humphrey spots the exit up ahead
HUMPHREY: There it is, the exit.
KATE: Good eye, Humphrey. Come on let's book it.
Kate, Humphrey, Claudette, Stinky, and Runt dash ahead towards the exit
Once they make it to, what they think, is the exit, they end up crashing into the closed steel door.
KATE: Ow! Ay, Chihuahua that hurt. What did I run into?
Humphrey walks up to the door and knocks on it.
HUMPHREY: Looks like a steel door. It must've closed on us while we were in the forest. When I came here earlier there was no door? Where did it come from?
KATE: It must've shut when me and the pups came into the forest, but I seen no door either when we first entered.
HUMPHREY: How does a door suddenly appear?
KATE: I have no idea.
Claudette walks up to the door, and observes it
CLAUDETTE: It looks like Giant Garage Door, but there's no way it can close properly. Garage Doors need to be connected to something above in order to work properly, but there's literally nothing above for it to connect too. It's just trees, trees, and more trees, plus it looks like it's locked. How can it close without anything holding it up above?
KATE: I have no idea.
HUMPHREY: Great, so we're trapped in this forest, by this creepy Garage Door, with no way out. This is all my fault. If I didn't run into this forest after some stupid candy, we wouldn't be in this mess. Now we're all gonna die, and it's all thanks to me.
Humphrey lays down facing away from Kate, Claudette, Stinky, and Runt, and covers his face in shame
HUMPHREY: I'm a terrible father, husband, and role model. If we get out of here, you guys can go and enjoy your life. I'll stay in here, and let the forest gets it's way. You don't need someone as bad as me dragging you guys down.
KATE: Whoa, Humphrey, we ain't gonna leave you here to die.
HUMPHREY: Why? All I do is put us danger. It's best if you don't have me around. You like being safe, and I'm keeping you from that.
KATE: Humphrey, it doesn't matter if we get into danger or not. We're all family, and we stick together no matter what.
CLAUDETTE: Plus you're a great dad to me, Stinky, and Runt. Nothing or no one else can replace you.
HUMPHREY: You really think so?
CLAUDETTE: I know so.
HUMPHREY: Okay, thanks guys.
CLAUDETTE: Anytime.
Humphrey gets up, and faces towards everyone again than he walks to the door
HUMPHREY: There's usually a trick to these things. I wonder if there's some kind of code we have to enter in order to get this thing open.
He looks around
HUMPHREY: I see nothing yet, but I'll keep looking
