"No!" Masuku yelled, flipping her small black ears so they were flat against her head. "You are Alpha Katsuki!" She said. "Good ya damn brat." He growled. He let go of her, and she fell on the floor. "You make for a pretty bad leader Katsuki." Shoto said calmly. "Shut the hell up! Your just mad that you aren't Alpha!" Bakugo yelled. "He has a point." Jiro said. "You are the ones who fuckin picked me as Alpha!" He roared in anger. "Yeah but you put some of us under threats." Tsu said in a croak voice. "So?!" Bakugo yelled. "Hey, hey! It's okay." Kiri (Kirishima,) said. "Shut up fire ears." Bakugo growled. Masuku got up.

"That's it, here is who is going hunting today, come back when the sun starts setting, Tsu, Kiri, and Deku." Bakugo ordered. "M-me Alpha Katsuki?" Deku asked. "Yes. In hopes you will die out there." Bakugo growled back. "W-why are Tsu and Kiri coming?" Deku stuttered. "Because they actually know HOW to hunt." He growled. Shoto looked over at Bakugo. "And the rest of us?" He asked as the hunters left. "Most of you can lounge, Shoto take patrol." He said. "Oh come on, anyone can see your getting rid of Deku and I because you want Masuku to yourself." He said. "Sh-shut up and d-do the work!" Bakugo yelled, his cheeks growing hot. Shoto shrugged and left for patrol. "Whatever..." Jiro mumbled. "AWWW I WAS HOPING THE GIRL'S AND I COULD GO ON PATROL-" Mineta cried. "Who the hell gave me a reason to keep that fukin idiot?!" Bakugo barked. "Uhhh....he is a good hunter when we need small prey...pretty sure that's the only reason...." Momo said. "Oh I'm good in Spring! Cuz that's mating season heh~" Mineta said. Everyone glared at him. "K-Katsuki-" "THAT IS ALPHA KATSUKI TO YOU MASUKU." He yelled. She flinched. "S-sorry Alpha Katsuki. I just wanted to ask, when are we going to start saving food up? It's the begining of fall...." she asked. "Erm-I was JUST thinking of that and, uh, we will start saving tomorrow." He said, seeking to improvise. "Okay." She said.
-Skip to Midday-

-Shoto's POV-
I walked through the trees, on the intertwining path. Here and there I would shimmy to the side a little bit. Finally I was back. I walked in and everyone was seated. I saw Alpha sitting next to Masuku. She looked nervous. I walked over and loudly said "My shift is over." Bakugo glared.
-Author POV??? The original POV-
"Alright, Iida take your shift, return only when the sun is setting. The night shift will be Mineta, and the Midnight shift will be Yuga." He said. "And I'll do my job flashily!" Yuga said while swishing his yellow tail. "Oooh night shift~" he said with a smile. "Erm. Girls, maybe lay with a protecter since us boys have it in our nature to be more aware." Bakugo said. "Good idea." Mina agreed.
-Time skip to bed time-
Kiri shrugged. "Okay." He said to Mina, who had just asked if he'll be her 'Nighttime protecter from Mineta.' Now the REAL argument would come. "Hey-" "DEKU NO. I AM GOING TO BE MASUKU'S PROTECTER." Bakugo growled. "I was going to ask-" Shoto was cut off. "Boys!" Masuku said sheepishly. They turned to her, immediately silencing. "I...I uhm. I don't...uh..." she trailed off, not knowing what to do in front of an audience. "Yes?" They asked in sync. "I...uhm I don't know...I mean Mineta is pretty weak so I can't narrow it down...uhm.." "You know what?! I'm Alpha! I'm taking her." Bakugo barked. Shoto glared but didn't argue. Deku just went to his bed crying. Bakugo sat down.

He leaned against the cave's stone wall. He looked at the one hole in the roof of the cave. He felt weight land softly on his shoulder. Masuku sat there, her eyes half closed. He smiled. He held up his hand and gently rubbed her cheek. Her eyes drifted closed. After a while the two laid down, him slowly shifting her to a laying position. He smiled and brushed back a strand of hair. "Adorable." He muttered.
