Part 4 Same qualities...
In the meantime...
Nandhini saw Arnav swaying. She frowned at him. He came to her.
"Where is Nandhini?" He asked Nandhini and blew on her face. She made a face and pushed him.
"chiii... are you drunk?"
Arnav lifted his brows and looked at her face, coming close to her.
"Oh... you are her..."
"Don't you have shame?"
"How will I have shame if you are my wife?"
"From when did you start drinking?"
"You would have known that if you had stayed with me..." He said, swaying drowsily.
She turned her face irritably.
"By the way, you said you will send me a girl... where is she?" he looked in the room, shrinking his eyes in a searching manner.
He saw a servant come there with Nandini's coffee.
"Oh... is she here...?" he dragged her and hugged her tight.
The servant slipped the coffee cup and shouted in fear,
"Madam... help me... madam, please save me..."
Arnav cupped her face and said,
"Why are you shouting? Didn't you get money to sleep with me? shut up and come with me..." he started dragging her to his room.
"Arnav... behave yourself..." Nandhini pulled her from his clutch.
In no time, the woman ran from there.
"She is running..." Arnav tried to chase her, but Nandhini stopped him.
"Arnav... she is not the girl."
"Whaaaat? How long should I wait to sleep with a girl?"
Nandhini frowned.
"Please go to your room... we are searching for a beautiful girl for you..."
"Beautiful girl? Thank God, you don't search a girl like you..." He chuckled.
She called her guards. Four of them came to her.
"Take him to his room..." She ordered.
They lifted him and headed to his room. They put him on his bed and locked the room from the outside.
Arnav rushed behind them and tapped the door, but no one opened it. He walked to his bed stylishly, with a smirk on his face.
.............
At the same time,
Aman held the girl and stood in front of the man who chased her.
"Hey, who are you? leave her..." the man said furiously.
"Why are you chasing her?" Aman asked.
"She is my niece... this is our family matter. You don't have to come between us."
"If this is your family matter, why is she running crying?"
"Who are you to question me?"
"I'm a lawyer. I can even put you behind bars..."
"Oi, lawyer, sir... I raised her up after my sister's demise. She is my property. I will do anything for her. Mind your business and leave..."
Aman looked at the girl.
"Is he your uncle?"
She nodded yes, crying.
"Why are you running away from him?"
"He is trying to sell me to the wrong person. He is not a nice man. He will earn money by sending me to many men. I don't want to live such a life. That's why I run..." She sniffed.
"You should be grateful to me for raising you after your parents' demise. I won't leave you..." The man shouted.
"Hey, shut up..." Aman stopped him.
"You can earn money in a proper way instead of running," Aman said.
"How can I earn? I don't know anything."
"Don't you know anything?"
She nodded no.
"Ok, don't worry. I'm a lawyer. I will help you."
"What does the lawyer mean?" She asked miserably.
Aman was awestruck.
"Don't you know what a lawyer means?"
She nodded no.
"What did you study?"
"Fifth standard..."
"Fifth?"
"He didn't let me study. He made me work in many houses and earn money to drink."
Aman glared at the man.
"You can't force her... it's law..."
"Sir, I'm her guardian."
"Involving her in something cheap is not good...."
"Ok, not good. How long will I let her work for a minimal amount? When someone is ready to give me a huge amount, why should I leave it? How will I get money? Will you give?"
"Uncle, please don't do this to me. I can't sleep with many men. I will earn money for you by doing a job." She pleaded.
Aman felt bad for the girl. The girl suited Nandhini's conditions. She had no one except her rogue uncle. She was uneducated and innocent. He thought something and asked,
"How much will you get if you sell her?"
"one lakh..." He said, widening his eyes.
"I will give you five lakhs..."
The man and the girl were stunned.
"Oh... you like her, it seems..."
"Shut up..."
Aman looked at the girl and asked,
"Listen, you don't have to sleep with many men but one for your whole life."
She looked at him, perplexed.
"Means?"
"Without marriage, you should give birth to his child. If you are fine with that life, I will take you to his place. It's your wish to accept it. no completion. What say?"
She looked at him and then at her uncle.
"Hey, you don't want to sleep with many. He said you will sleep with only one. Then what the hell are you thinking?" Her uncle asked annoyingly.
She looked at Aman and said,
"I will come with you, Sab. instead of living a cheap life, I chose this..."
Aman sighed in relief.
"When will you give me money?" The man asked, grinning.
"Tomorrow morning, you will get money. Till then, she will be with me. I came here to attend Nand Kishor's sister's wedding. I will be there. Come and collect the amount."
"Oh... are you here for a wedding?"
Aman nodded yes.
"Ok, then... if you run away with her, I will kill Nandkishor..." he warned.
"Shut up. I won't run away from you. I need her Aadhar card and other identity documents. Bring them tomorrow morning."
"Why do you need them?"
"It's none of your business."
"Yes, why do I mind about it if you give me money?" he cackled.
He looked at the girl,
"Hey, you are so lucky. That's why you reached him. Go and be like a good girl..."
"You don't have to tell her anything. I will take care of her." Aman said.
"Sit in the car..." he opened the door for her.
The girl sat bowing down.
"I will come tomorrow morning to NandKishor's house..." the man said.
Aman started the car towards NK's house. He looked at the girl, who looked scared.
"I'm sorry..." he said.
She looked at him with confusion.
"I'm leading you to the good-for-nothing life..."
"But, I know it will not be worse than I was supposed to live." She said, looking down.
"Why don't you fight with your uncle?"
"How could I? He will hit me if I defy him. I even thought of dying, but I was scared to die because I knew it would hurt me..."
Aman felt bad for her. She was truly innocent.
"Lawyer bhaiya, you said you would take me to someone, and I should give birth to his child. Why didn't he get married if he wanted a child?"
"It's a big story..."
"Story?" She wiped her tears and smiled.
"I like stories. My Nani tells me stories before going to bed. Please tell me the story..." She asked like a kid.
Aman felt a prick. He was going to take her to Nandhini like a heartless woman, but he had no choice. If he didn't do that, she would be thrown into quicksand. At the same time, there was a little hope... ARNAV, who was yearning for love. He would definitely like this girl. Her innocence would melt his heart. If Arnav liked her, he would take care of her.
"A woman is not ready to carry a baby..."
"Why?"
"Because she is a businesswoman who roams around the world. She thinks carrying a baby will make her ugly."
"Ogly? But my Nani said, it's a blessing..."
"You had a Nani. So, she said that. But the woman doesn't have someone like your Nani."
"Oh... poor she..." She said, making a sad face.
Aman smiled.
"Then?"
"But, her husband wanted a child..."
"Oh..."
"So, she decided to get a girl to carry her husband's child..."
She frowned.
"Whaat?"
"I can't believe this."
"Why?"
"There is a woman in our village. She hit a woman with a broom for carrying his husband's child..." She whispered.
Aman chuckled.
"She is an educated woman. It all doesn't matter to her."
"Is it?"
"Yes..."
"Oh..."
"So, she is finding a girl to carry her husband's child and also satisfy her husband's needs. That's all..."
"That's all? The story ended?"
Aman raised his brows. Did she think it was a story? He rolled his eyes.
"The story didn't end... it will continue..."
"Will you tell me what happens?"
'I don't have to tell you that, but you will see what happens next,' Aman thought.
Aman arrived at the wedding hall, where NK's sister's wedding was taking place. He called NK to come out. He told him about the girl.
"Finally, did you find a girl up to Nandhini's expectations, sir?"
"I think yes..."
"What if she doesn't like this girl?"
"Then, I will ask her to find a girl on her own..." Aman said wearily.
NK looked at the girl who was looking here and there with a fear-filled face.
"Sir, bring her and have dinner."
Aman nodded ok and came to her.
"Did you eat anything?" He asked.
She nodded no, pouting, looking down.
"My uncle didn't provide me with anything as I didn't agree to his wish..."
"Ok, come. Eat something..."
She nodded slowly and pushed the car door as she didn't know how to open it.
"Wait..." Aman opened the door.
She got out of the car.
"Let's go..."
"What's her name, sir?" NK asked.
That was when Aman realised he didn't ask her name.
"What's your name?"
"Khushi..." she said in a low voice.
To be continued...
