Cameron's p/o/v
I woke up in my bed to my alarm screeching in my ear. I slowly stretch and get began to get up.I walk over to my floor length mirror just as I expected, my hair still in a horrible messy bun but lucky for me its Saturday.
As I remember this I jump back into my bed and try and fall back alseep. No sooner then I finally fall a sleep I get a text message

Hayes- Hello beautiful

Me- why are you texting me at 7 in the morning on a Saturday?

Hayes- good morning to you to. You should invite me over.....

Me- so you can flirt with Jake no thanks...but sure come over.😒

Hayes- I don't like him

As hayes walks in we talked about what to do today. She suggested we go out to eat soooooo since I like food I got ready and we left.

I have never really told her what happend in my past. I guess I should. "Hey hayes my mom left" I said." I know, I know" she replied. "When
World war III started she left and never came back, she was my best friend I think. I dont remember much but I do remember the little things she used to do. Like wheni was sick she would stay home with me and watch reruns and marathons of old western shows  then she would fix me her famous, my favorite ice cream float with a mixture of different sodas. " I explained. She me gave me a sad look and shed a single tear.

As we pull up to the restaurant I see newspapers being handed out. This is very odd considering its 2028. I take a paper and see a war like picture on it. On the cover in bold letters it says " WORLD WAR III OVER!!"  As I read this I began to cry in hope that maybe my mom would coming home soon. Hayes saw that I was crying, she pulled me into a huge and took me home.

And I thought to day was going to be normal.
