Joel's POV
We had two more hours to go before we got to Texas.
"Morning guys." Amber said.
"Morning sleepy head." I said.
"Hey I got dressed! How much longer till we get there?" She asked.
"About two hours." I said. She was dressed in a pair of jeans shorts, a navy blue v-neck t-shirt, and navy blue vans. She sat down beside me.
"Guess what Amber?" I said.
"What?" She replied.
"Ben is going to join us on tour! His parents are going somewhere and we get to have him till they come back." I said. I know Ben is one of her few friends back home.
"Yeah!" She said excitedly. She gave me a hug.
"Are going to hang out with Ruslan?" I asked. Amber had become friends with all of Everfound but, she was really close with Ruslan.
"A little bit." She replied. Colton and his girlfriend had broken up and he said he liked someone else. He always seemed happier when Amber was in the room.

Amber's POV
"What you thinking about?" I asked Joel.
"Nothing important." He said and kissed my forehead. I went and got my computer and looked at the comments on my performance.
"Amber needs to stay in the background."
"I think she's great! Not her sister but still great!"
"Amber and Colton would make the cutest couple! I heard he broke up with his girlfriend. Also she has an amazing voice. I can't believe she hasn't performed with her brothers sooner."
A couple of hate comments. It's to be expected. The comment about Colton and I surprised me. I had a crush on him and knew he had just broken up with his girlfriend but I never thought a fan would say that.

"Hey Amber we're here!" Joel said. I put my computer away and grabbed my phone and saw a text.
'Want to go to lunch? -Colton'
'Totally -Amber'
I climbed off the bus with Dad, Joel, and Luke. I saw Ruslan and said hi. I spotted Colton in the corner looking a little upset.
"What's wrong gold eyeliner?" I asked. He gave me a small smile.
"Hey. My ex is coming tonight and she's really mad." He said.
"Why did you break up with her in the first place?" I asked.
"I really like someone else." He replied. I was little hurt but I've never had a boyfriend cause they say I'm too much of a tomboy.
"Well see you at lunch right?" I asked. He nodded. I walked off to go find Luke.

Joel's POV
I watched Colton as he stared after her as she walked away.
"You know she's never had a boyfriend?" I asked.
"No. I didn't. I can't see why she wouldn't have a boyfriend." He said.
"She never had many friends back home. Only two and one's coming on tour. She was bullied a lot during school. It took a lot of pain for her to be the happy person she is today." I said.
"Do you like her?" I asked.
"Yeah but, I don't think she would like me back." He said.
"You realize that you both are really happy when the other walks into the room right?" I asked.
"You know a bunch of fans want a music video of you and Amber singing Without you. What do you think?" I asked.
"That sounds cool! Maybe we should try it out on the tour!" He said.

I went to go grab lunch after rehearsal. I was walking on the sidewalk when I heard screeching and then my world went black.
