❝Sometimes the pain crushes you - it leaves you incapable of everything. It leaves you broken- in and out. The tears won't roll down and the screams won't escape past your quivering lips.

Perhaps, you wouldn't even like to be in the same four walled surrounding that you've been claiming to be your home, maybe you're not safe in your own house. Sometimes you feel so blank that you do not know where to go because your mind turns out to be the worst place you've been living in. The past will haunt you. Your limbs will tingle and your brain would race in the most unhelpful way.
But time heals everything.
You will feel numb about your past, so numb that there will be a point of time when it will fail to have that effect you. You got to decide if you want to wait for that moment to come or think of ending your life. It's always better to take a break to save yourself from yourself. Maybe just go on a vacation?❞ ---

Seher glided the nib of the pen into a straight line that indicated that she wanted to end that writeup there itself. She stood up to get those lines printed in an already-written book. It was a fantasy novel and was completely different from what she had written above. But she still wanted to add those two paragraphs on the last page of the novel.

"I am going to get some special copies of this book which will have those two extra paragraphs towards the end of the book. I will send them to the people who (I think) are going through some depression sort of a thing and need help." Seher cleared when Miheeka asked her why she was doing it.

"How do you know that they're depressed?" Miheeka asked sounding way more confused than before.

"I often interact with my readers through mails and some have confessed it themselves. I really wish to help them in whatever ways I can." Seher said equaling the pages and signing them at the last.

"You're a very pious soul but that doesn't change the fact that you're ten times more weird." Miheeka said as she stood up and marched out of her room while sipping the orange juice she was holding.

"Hey, Rehan. Just calling to inform you that I'm going to go to the courier office and courier those special copies to my special people and do not worry it was just a mild fever, I am better now." A struggling Seher spoke while opening the car's door, the phone was held between her elevated shoulder and her lowered cheek bone.

"Mild fevers without any reasons aren't good." Rehan said.

"Climatic changes, Rehan!" She sighed.

"Mumbai is at an average of thirty one degree celsius from the past five days. Climatic changes, yeah?" He spoke.

"Uhm. . . okay I was thinking about something."

"Correction, you were overthinking and that too about those two fellas who died. Am I right my soon-to-be wifey?"

"Yeah Mister Rehan Verma, by the way I am really getting late. We will talk later. Bye." She said.

"Okay take care." Rehan replied and resumed his work.

[Time skip, Rehan and Ridhaan are back from Delhi and it is 7:30 in the evening]

Seher was about to prepare for the meal, she took a bowl from the drawer and that's when she received a call from Miheeka.

"Hey, listen up. We do not have time. Go get ready with a beautiful gown and make it quick." She instructed.

"But why?" Seher asked putting the bowl on the counter.

"Because we are going for a dinner." Miheeka said.

"What for?"

"I don't know, Rehan looks really happy today and he asked me to inform you because he's busy arranging something. What I know is, you're getting ready right now and I'm going to pick you up in twenty minutes." Miheeka sounded as if she had been sprinting before she called up.

"This is so confusing. There's no special occasion today." Seher said.

"I do not know. I do not know. I do not know multiplied by hundred. Now go and get ready. I do not want to see myself standing in front of your apartment gaining glares from that bitchy old woman from your neighborhood." Miheeka sighed.

"Name a single person who isn't a bitch or a male bitch according to you." Seher said giggling at the end.

"Whatever. Bye. Make it real quick." Miheeka said.

"Yeah, bye." Seher said as she puts the bowl back into the drawer and walks towards her room to get ready.

"Spill, Rehan." Ridhaan was constantly nudging him.

"Wait up, dude. It'll be clear once they come here."

"But what is this for? Are you going to propose her, haan?" Ridhaan asked as he playfully hit Rehan with his elbow which made Rehan shoot a death glare at him.

"Okay okay I'll shut up." Ridhaan immediately understood that he was not supposed to mess up with the beast. OH SORRY, THE BEAUTY.

After some thirty eight minutes, they hear the sound of heels walking in. Miheeka was dressed in a beautiful pink gown and Seher in a gorgeous black one. Ridhaan's jaw dropped as soon as he saw Miheeka, while she was avoiding an eye contact with him. Rehan's eyes scanned Seher while that shy lady kept on blushing inwardly. There was an awkward silence until Seher decided to break it-

"If both of you are done checking us out then can we please get to know what this is for?"

"Well, its kind of a success party. One of your four books is the top selling book right now and my conference turned out pretty well too, we got it." Rehan said while Ridhaan still couldn't focus on anything else but Miheeka.

"Oh that's great but why didn't you tell that to me before?" Seher asked as her crimson red face had now turned into a bright smiling one.

"I thought you would be knowing about your book topping the charts." Rehan said scratching his eyebrows.

"No, I'm not talking about the book. Why didn't you tell me about your deal before?" She asked with a flawless smile that added even more to her beauty.

"Well, my brain can't process to the amount of your beauty right now so I don't remember why I did not tell that to you before. But that's okay, we got a reason to celebrate." Rehan gave out a huge smile.

"Miheeka, Ridhaan's going crazy. Why did you do this to him?" Seher said as she covered her mouth in order to hide her laughter.

"Uhm, there- there's nothing like that." Ridhaan said as he pursed his lips at a really accurate time or else he would've drooled.

Author's note: I know I wasn't supposed to update thrice a week but I did it anyway lol.
So, about the time skips, I know I should not change the days abruptly but if I don't do that then I would have to stretch the book's length which means some more meaningless chapters. Anyways, thanks a lot to each and everyone who is reading this. It really means a lot, you will make me cry now ! See you soon. Bye♥
