They started kissing each other when suddenly there was knock on the door. They immediately pushed each other away. Sid's eyes widened with what just happened. Avu didn't know how to react or whatv to say. They were just thinking of what just happened when there was another knock on door. Sid quickly got up and went to open the door. It was VA with some snacks.

VA: Itna time?

Sid: Sorry mom

VA: Hmm. It's okk. Ye lo. Padte padte bhookh lagi hogi. Kha lena

Sid: Okk mom. Thank you

VA handed the tray to Sid and left. He closed the door and came back. He kept the tray on table and sat on his place. None of them spoke anything. They were feeling really awkward. Sid was feeling guilty and embarrassed. He wanted to apologize but he couldn't speak anything. He gestured her to take something. She took a biscuit and quitely ate it.

Avu remembered it's time to leave. AD must be coming anytime.

Avu: I should go. My father will be here anytime

She said getting up. She didn't even look at him once nor bid a goodbye. Sid was thinking it's because what just happened. She walked towards the door while Sid was just staring at her from behind. She was about to open the door when suddenly he spoke.

Sid: Avneet

She stopped there but didn't turn around. He himself gathered the courage and walked towards her. He stood behind her. He was facing her back. He took a deep breath.

Sid: Avneet I know I did wrong. But I want to do a request. I know I should be shameful of myself to say so but...

A lump came in his throat. She turned her face to look at him trying to guess what he had to say. He sighed and continued.

Sid: Please don't tell your father about this. It's my humble request. If he came to know I will loose my job and I need it very badly. This is my only source of earning. I lost my father at very small age. I am the only one earning now in this home. I can't see my mom suffering anymore and working at people's home. She has done this my whole childhood for my future and studies

Tears rolled down her eyes. Avu was just quitely standing. She was the first person to see his tears. He never cried for his mom. Not ateast since the time he can remember. When he didn't get any reply, he joined his hands in front of her.

Sid: I know I don't deserve this. Aur shayad tumhe lagega ki apni dukh bhari kahani sunake emotional blackmail kar raha hu but please don't tell anything to him. Hnn I can't force you. If you want to tell, no one can stop you. But trust me it was just a mistake. I never had any such intentions. Maine kabhi socha bhi nhi tha

Avu's phone rang. She looked at the collar I'd and went out not before giving him a last glance. He sat down on bed burrying his head in his hands.

Avu's mind was filled with his thoughts as usual. But this time she was remembering him with tears and what all he had suffered his whole life.
