'~ I took a break,

I let myself feel emotions that were long gone,

That were jumbled up and hidden as thoughts in the corners of my mind,

and for the first time I didn't feel so numb.

I took a break,

After so long of not wanting to feel,

I picked up my pen and decided it was time to heal,

For so long I wasn't able to comprehend my thoughts,

Let alone write them down as I used to.

Whether or not this break was worth it,I don't know,

But this brief hiatus made me realize,

I shouldn't give up on what I love just cause i'm not feeling right,

Instead i should give it all i've got,

And now i've finally seen the light,

Redeemed myself and everthing feels alright. ~'
