Kopi: Hey y'all! Welcome to Alliterating Alligators, the literacy club. I'm just introducing it today, which is why there's only me here. So what this is, is it's a fun way to talk about books with each other. And with our imagined versions of real authors, like J.K. Rowling, or Stephanie Meyer, etc. You can make requests of who you'd like us to meet. And hopefully, this will be a fun ride for us all!

*dances around the room crazily*

Ash: And we'll be holding random goofy contests. *rubs hands with glee* This is going to be fun!

Kopi: I agree! Wait, we didn't agree on contests...

What sorts of contests?

Liz: Shh, don't ask questions. And, without further ado, Alliterating Alligators! Kopi, that name was definitely your idea. So! If you want to read about us talking to ourselves and some other people, then go ahead and continue. Yep.

Kopi: Wait, I wanna ask questions....

No, I didn't come up with alliterating alligators. That was Ash.

Ash: What was the first book you guys ever read?

Liz: By you guys do you mean the readers or us? I mean, it's always about me. Well, me and Christy.

Ash: I meant the readers. But I'd love to know about yours, too! My first book was The Adventures of Tatty Ted. I read it when I was three years old.

Kopi: I have no clue what the first book I read was....

Maybe Go Dog, Go by Dr. Suess?

I have no clue...

*distributes foil hats to everyone*

Ash: *Takes hat and puts it on* Thank you.

Kopi: *waves hat in front of Liz's face* Liz, you want the hat or nah? Liz, Liz, Liz, you there? You alive?

*starts hyperventilating*

OMG, did the aliens invade your mind? Was I too late with the hat? OMG, OMG, OMG!!!

Ash: OMG, OMG, OMG!

Liz: *starts and stops zoning out* I'm sorry, what? Oh, foil hat! Nah, I've got a ton already!

*produces a bunch from absolutely nowhere*

Hmm, my first book. I really don't know. Probably one of those puffy bath books?

So, anyway, we totally got off of the point here. Kopi, Ash, I'm looking at you! It was all your fault! Not mine at all! Wait, what was I saying? That's right! So... We have a question for you all, as our fabulous readers!

Who do you want us to interview next week?

Like another author, such as J.K Rowling, or a book character, such as Luna Lovegood. No, they don't all have to be from Harry Potter!

Ah, come on, the others left me here. So, uh, club meeting adjourned until next week!
