Lindsey rushed out towards the doors after the woman but the buzzers went off before he could, a security guard stepped in his way and outstretched his arm for him to stop

"Excuse me sir but I'm going to have to ask you to pay for that" Lindsey looked down and suddenly realised that in his rush he still had the carton of milkshake in his hand and he hadn't had chance to pay for it

"Shit I'm sorry but that woman had information that I needed and she left and I desperately needed to talk to her, I must have been so rushed that I forgot I had this in my hand, I was waiting in the line, please I need to stop that woman!"

"Sir you either need to pay for it or leave it with me" Lindsey thrust the carton into the guards hands and dodged past him, apologising as he went

Lindsey ran outside the store and watched in heartbreak as the woman got into her car, he ran across the parking lot as fast as he could but it was no use...the woman was driving away

"STOP PLEASE!" It was to late, the woman and the car had gone

"Linds, what's wrong?" Christine yelled as she got out of the car and went running to him

"That woman!"

"What about her?"

"She's seen Stevie!"

"WHAT?"

"She was talking to this other woman about her brothers new girlfriend, and she said they were engaged and she was very pregnant, she then also said this woman had blond hair and brown eyes!" Lindsey was talking so fast he didn't know whether he was making sense

"Well that sounds like Stevie but how are you sure? She's not the only pregnant blond haired brown eyed woman out there..."

"The woman said her brother was called Paul and when asked she said the girlfriends name was Stephanie..." Lindsey began to cry

"Shit! That's definitely our Stevie, and that woman is..."

"Gone" Lindsey interrupted

"Did you get a car reg or anything?" Chris tried to help

"No I was too set on getting to her..."

"It's okay, look I'll stay with the kids and you go in and ask if anybody knows who she was" Lindsey sprinted back into the store and Chris got back into the car

A couple of minuets later Lindsey came back out the doors and looked at Chris, shaking his head, she closed her eyes and sighed, they might have just missed the only chance of finding where Stevie was

"I should have moved quicker...I was in such shock I got stopped by a security guard for almost walking out without paying" Lindsey banged his hands on the wheel

"Lindsey stop it! You'll wake and scare the children!"

"I'm sorry...I was just so close Chris...so close!" Chris rubbed his back

"I know, I know honey"

The rest of the drive home was spent in silence, when they got back to the house, Lindsey got the kids out the car and took them upstairs, placing them in bed, he then told Chris he was going to do the same, once he closed the door Christine let the tears fall, they had been so close, and Lindsey was spiralling and she wasn't sure she could stop it...

Paul returned a while later and went up to see Stevie, she was laying on her back staring at the celling

"I'm back"

"Good for you" was all she said

"Why do you still take this attitude? Your such a fucking headache!" he yelled at her

"Then you shouldn't have kidnapped me if you couldn't handle me!" she said quietly

"Time to eat anyway" he ignored what she said...this time

"No"

"Were not doing this again Stevie, eat!"

"Tell me where my child is then you sick pathetic excuse for a man!" she yelled and picked up the clock next to the bed, flinging it across the room and hitting him straight in the head, she watched as pure anger hit his eyes and she regretted her move completely, Paul ran over and grabbed her face

"Your children are at home with your husband!" Stevie knew were this was going but she refused to accept it

"No my new baby, tell me where they are! Do you have them safe?" She was desperate to know

"You don't have a new one! Your own stubbornness caused it to be that way!"

"What...why?" she began to cry

"Well you shouldn't have tried to fight me for that ring!" Stevie broke down into tears, her heart breaking as she understood what he was saying, he took the tray of food and headed for the door

"Was it a boy or a girl?"

"A boy" and he left, leaving Stevie broken

"So what are you doing with your hair this time Helen?" The hairdresser asked

"I just wanted the usual" The hairdresser smiled and got to work

"Feel free to take a look through any of the magazines whilst I get the highlight colours ready honey!" 

"Okay I will!" Helen didn't usually read magazines but the last time she was here she had gotten so bored, so picking up one she flicked through it, getting to the 'Cutest celeb couple of the month' page, she look a closer look at the picture when she recognised the woman pictured, the woman was the spitting image of her brothers 'new' girlfriend, the caption underneath the image reading 'Mother of two and third time pregnant rockstar Stevie Nicks strolling hand in hand  this month with husband of years guitar god Lindsey Buckingham'

"Oh god..."
