"No, the why is never wrong, it places you in the house best fit for you and the house it believes you will provide the best possible outcome of your journey" she said

"Has anyone ever been sorted into more than one house?" I asked

"Not to my knowledge" she said thinking deeply in the matter

"Do you think I could see Severus before I go in?" I asked

"You know Severus snape?" She asked

"He was my potions teacher while I was home" I said

"I suppose it can be arranged, but why if I must ask" she said

"It's ok if it can't be arranged I just feel comfortable with chatting to him first" I said

"Wait here I'll be back" she said

She entered the great hall and was back in about five minutes with Severus following swiftly behind her.

"Miss black" Professor snape said

"Sev I mean Professor snape" I said softly

"You have ten minutes before Dumbledore will call you in" McGonagall said

"What is it Miss black?" Snape asked

"Severus I, I need to know something" I said

I watched his eyes soften for a moment when I said his first name and not his professional title.

"Yes?" He said

"Do the students know my situation other than pesky Hermione granger?" I asked

"All professors have knowledge of your situation, some students know of your history or family curse at birth, but not everyone is aware of it" he said

"Wouldn't it be better to have everyone know they could be in danger around me?" I asked

"No because we'd rather not freak the students out and make you outcasted" he said

"I'd like to announce the arrival of our new student, please welcome Trinity Black" Dumbledore announced

I walked in immediately when Severus opened the door for me, I walked down the walkway and towards the stool. I took a seat on the stool and waited for Professor McGonagall to place the hat on my head.

"Hmm another Black, you could be good in Ravenclaw, slight traits of Hufflepuff but far from one, bravery like a Gryffindor, hmm cunning and very ambitious, let it be SLYTHERIN" it shouted

I happily got off the stool and made my way towards the Slytherin table where my friends awaited for me. I turned towards Severus and he nodded in acceptance and acknowledgment of what is to come next. I made my way to sit between pansy and Daphne who happily made space for me between them. I took my place without making any eye contact with Theodore or Lorenzo what so ever as the food appeared in front of us. I heard a huff of annoyance and a growl of frustration come from what I assumed to be my two mates. It didn't press me to look up in their eyes because I knew that exactly what they wanted from me. Especially after finding out what happened to me by force because of Tom and Matteo picking through my thoughts.

I decided to block my mind and forced my way into Matteo's and Tom's mind much to their disapproval. Images flashed across my head as I peered into Matteo's head first, brutal images that had me fighting tears from falling. I fought the shiver that went down my spine as I looked up into Matteo's eyes. He slammed his fist onto the table and stood rushing out as I peered into Tom's open mind him having the same or similar thoughts going about in his head. I stood rushing towards the doors of the great hall only to get pushed against the wall. I froze in fear eyes closed as I waited the impact of a hit or being forced to do something. He backed away looking at me both sadly and angrily at everything.

"You had no right" he hissed

"And you did" I scoffed

"Your mind was open it's not" he began

"It's just as bad for me in your head as it was for you in mine, it's not one sided it was an even trade you deserved it just as much as you thought I did, just because my mind was unaware of your infiltration doesn't make it any less wrong than if I did know, so don't be a hypocrite and come slamming me against a fucking wall because your pissed I now know exactly what you've gone through just as you and Tom know about my past" I snapped

"Your right we had no right, but it doesn't me do it back" he said

"Oh yes it does, you invade my privacy then I'll do exactly that to you, I'm not a get even type but I'll do it if needed and I'm definitely one for getting revenge so if you don't like that idea keep me on your side and don't get on my bad side, I don't care who your father is, I don't care what you've been through we've all been through some kind of hell and I'm drowning in mine so are you, but if you keep rummaging through my head then I'll do it right back" I snapped

"I'm sorry" he said looking down

"Don't be, I get it honestly, you did it to understand the new girl even if it was wrong Matt, can I call you Matty or Matt?" I asked

"Sure but if anyone else does I'll murder them" he growled

"I'm sure you would Matty" I laughed

"You went through my head" Tom snapped coming into the hall

"We deserved it" Matteo said

"I'll" Tom stepped closer causing me to shrink and gasp in fear

"Tom don't" Matteo warned with heavy eyes

Tom's eyes softened at the realization that he scared me just as Jessie did long ago. I nearly fell back and cried letting the tears out was something I didn't want to do not in front of them. Something I couldn't do, I refused to do it now or later when I'm alone it was something I didn't want.
