It was an average day for Akutagawa once again called by the port mafia boss Osamu Dazai and assigned to another pointless job as the brunette thought and rolled his eyes, then the boss reassured him saying this job isn't like the rest and the reward would be great so of course the brunette agreed and took the job assigned to
him without knowing the life-changing experience this would really be.
Oh man this is really going to suck the brunette thought this job is going to take me a month at least why does the boss always assign me the hard one's I mean I can't really complain the pay is 10 million yen I mean at least the pay is good for a pain in the ass job he thought to himself but as soon interrupted by the curious Tachihara,
Hey what's up Akutagawa on your way home I see the redhead said with a smile on his face. I guess so if I can call that room home referring to the one bedroom apartment he lived in, come on man don't be so emo all the time why you always giving us the cold shoulder?
Well maybe because I don't like talking to you the brunette said ignoring the other and continued walking to the place others call his home. Tachihara sighed is disbelief of the brunettes behavior, seriously I wish that guy could be a bit more energetic sometimes well what good is wishing when it will never happen I guess then the redhead turned together way and walked off with his arms behind his head.
When Akutagawa arrived to his so-called home he took off his shoes and plopped down on his futon and began thinking to himself why he accepted the job anyway and regretted it instantly well I better get some sleep then if I'm going to wake up at 4am for this stupid job then roll over and fell asleep instantly.
The next day when he woke up he began creating this fake ID for the job he was assigned to which was to infiltrate a government-run laboratory as a new scientist and find out what they've been doing then illuminate the facility.
Time Skip
I got to the main entrance to degrees by two security guards asking for his name and ID also adding the comment newbie huh they never last longer than a week in here then Akutagawa replied well maybe I will I'm pretty good with my work after all the guard had a pissed off expression and responded with "tsk don't make me laugh move on kid" and proceeded to let Akutagawa through the door and into the facility, not long after he was greeted about the number one scientist and his new boss for this job, well well then it seems like the new guy is here already I didn't anticipate the guards letting you in so quickly the scientist chuckled well I guess they took a liking to me then Akutagawa replied you know what kid I like you I think you'll do just fine here the scientist said while praising the brunette let me give you a tour of our facility, Akutagawa sickened by the mans praise replied with okay then thank you sir then proceeded to follow him.
Time Skip
All right then mr Akutagawa this is the last stop on our little tour I thought I would be generous and show you our little masterpiece the man said leading the brunette into a room with a thick sheet of glass then proceeds to flip on the light, Walla this is our little 22-3A he's our little master a boy with an ability to transform into a tiger isn't he beautiful mr Akutagawa the man said practically with stars in his eyes showing Akutagawa a small boy curled up in the corner of a containment room.
The boy looked as if he'd been abused, he had pale white hair with small black streaks going through it, pale white skin covered in bruises and bandages, and small tiger ears on the top of his head with his tail curled around his leg in fear with a black collar around his neck.
Akutagawa in shock of the boys condition ask how old the boy was and how long he had been there the scientists replied that the boy had been here since the age of 5 and that he was now 13, then proceeded to ask why the brunette was so curious?
Akutagawa replied "well it's just that I've never seen something so unusual before and my curiosity got ahead of me I apologize for my rudeness sir."
The scientist then reassured the brunette saying that,
"Oh it's quite all right I get it, he is quite the unusual find anyone who lays eyes on him is instantly overtaken by their curiosity it's only natural after all, if you ever wanted to you are free to let your curiosity roam and come see him once in a while I would be careful though he is very weary near humans."
The brunette replied saying "oh really I'll just have to come and check him out then" sickened by the way this old man thinks with thoughts of himself killing this sick bastard. "Well that is all for the tour" the old man said breaking Akutagawa out of his trance, "I'll show you to your sleeping quarters" he said walking out of the room Akutagawa not too far behind him then turned off the light.
At that moment once the light turned off Akutagawa noticed the boys eyes widen in fear of the dark, just before the door closed Akutagawa left it cracked open a bit then left.
The boy stared at the light wondering why the brunette left the door that way? then began to calm down curled up in a ball and fell asleep instantly.
