Hana's POV

Don't ask why I'm currently running. Minho has been calling me non stop telling me to come back to the mansion as soon as possible and since the city is a bit far, I am running.

I bend down to catch my breath when I make it to the front gate of the mansion.

"What took you so long."

I take a deep breath as I get up and fix my posture before looking towards the two figures with an angry expression.

"I had to RUN! You literally exploded my phone with your calls!"

He rolls his eyes before getting in the car with Unnie and I follow behind. I sit in the driving seat this time since Minho was still a bit injured and also because I wanted to drive today.

I start the car and we head off to our wrecked base. "How's your wound." I ask him while focusing on the road.

"It's better." He replies shortly and I nod in response. After a few minutes of silence, I suddenly remember something and immediately ask Minho.

"You said this could have been the Shadow Kings' work. Is that true?"

He hums, deeply thinking and parting his lips to speak.

"Well I'm not sure, it's just an assumption. But I found the same note you showed us."

My eyes enlarge when I hear Minho's statement.

Wait so I could be right, what if all this is connected.

I'm such a genius!

A proud smirk forms on my lips from my thoughts as I see from the corner of my eye Minho who looks at me with a weird look.

"So I was right as always, all this is connected. Great job to me."

Minho rolls his eyes as we arrive and I press on the breaks, halting the car. We get out and my eyes widen looking at the burned down building infront of me.

They really destroyed everything huh.

Not that I really care since it's all his property.

I shrug my shoulders before moving forward to examine a bit more of the place.

The only reason I was furious this morning hearing the news of the destruction was because even though this was all his property, it still was very important to us since it held most of our weapons and money but we have plenty more bases.

"So where's the note." I ask as he fishes through his pockets and pulls out a tiny piece of paper before handing it to me. I intently stare at the paper examining its content before sighing and shoving it in my pocket.

"So you say it's the Shadow Kings' ?"

He nods looking at Jisoo Unnie who was standing next to him and then back at me, his mouth opening agape to speak.

"Yeah. I did some thinking and what if the 'SK' means 'Shadow Kings'. It seems like the only logical explanation."

I fall into deep thought as my eyes slowly begin to widen when I process all the newly told information.

What if he's right.

'Sk' could very well mean 'Shadow Kings'. But we shouldn't immediately jump into conclusions since it had always led to huge mishaps and we wouldn't the unfortunate to happen.

Nevertheless we just have to find other clues until we're sure that this is their doing.

And once we've confirmed it, all we have to is find them.

I come back to reality when Jisoo walks passed me to get closer to the broken and wrecked building. Her eyes wondering everywhere in search for a certain something.

Minho and I look at eachother in confusion before looking back at Jisoo Unnie only to see her remove big rocks one at a time.

"Unnie what are you looking for!? "

I yell towards her since she was at a distance from the two of us. Not hearing a response, we both head towards her and wait for her to find what she was looking for.

Couple minutes of failed attempts, she suddenly pulls out something and stands back up from her crouched position. Facing towards us, her lips curve up into a proud and satisfied smirk as we both look down at the item she was holding.

"A CCTV camera?"

Unexpectedly, we both ask at the same time before looking at eachother and slightly giggling. Realizing the serious situation, we both bring back our seriousness and gesture Jisoo to explain.

"You idiots! Is it that hard to understand something so simple?!" She exclaims in disbelief and the expressions on our faces told her that we were completely dumbfounded and unaware of what she was trying to say.

She tsks in disappointment before sighing as if she was about to explain the alphabet to a 5 year old.

"We can retrieve the video recording of what happened before the place got demolished with the hard disk drive if this camera isn't much damaged."

"Ohhhhhh~"

She watches as both us chuckle awkwardly and she shakes her head. Taking the camera from her hands, I observe it carefully to look for any damaged spot as a smirk appears on my lips.

"It's not much damaged, we can still get the hard drive disk out."

As I say those delightful words, the older ones copy my actions and they all smirk realizing that we might have just found our biggest proof.

We're heading back after thoroughly checking every corner to find anything else but found nothing so the CCTV camera was our biggest accomplishment.

It's currently 3 pm and I'm starving since I hadn't had my lunch, my stomach began to growl but thankfully none of them heard it since Minho and Jisoo were vibing to the music that was blasting in the car.

I turn the music down a bit to speak which causes them to groan and start whining before I could even let out a single word.

"Are you guys hungry?"

"Yeah I'm starving." Minho answers back and Jisoo nods to his statement, agreeing with him.

"Let's go to a restaurant. It's been quite a while since we hung out together."

I watch their expression change into an excited one and they both nod with a smile on their faces.

They could be so strict at one moment, and in the next their acting all childish.

I swiftly turn the steering wheel and take a turn. Big buildings come to our sight and we see cars start to corner us as we enter in the city.

"You know the other day I heard you snoring."

His laugh could be heard in the whole restaurant, I look at him flabbergasted before smacking him on the head.

"Yah! I don't snore!"

He just laughed even more making me cross my arms and humph in anger. From the corner of my eye I see Jisoo shake her head playfully seeing us bicker again.

"At least I don't eat like I'm eating for the first time."

I state with a satisfied smirk eyeing Minho who's cheeks were stuffed with food. He immediately swallows his food before clearing his throat.

"Y-yah I haven't eaten all day unlike someone who ate a delicious breakfast this morning at a cafe while I was investigating."

I laugh a bit taking his statement as a joke before my smile immediately falters when realization hits like a rock and I stare at him with wide eyes while he smirked.

"How did yo-- why am I even surprised at this point. Of course you were stalking me."

I mumbles the last few words before mumbling a 'creep' and eating my food with a pout.

"How though? Weren't you at home?"

I curiously ask even though I was a bit annoyed at the fact that he stalked me, I still wanted to know how he managed to do it.

"Simple. When I was coming back to the mansion to inform you all about the note and all, I passed by the cafe in the city and saw you leaving from there."

I roll my eyes and continue eating my food as I take a bite of my burger and slowly munch on it.

Thankfully he only saw me leave the cafe and not me sitting with the boys. Otherwise it wouldn't have ended pretty.

We were here for a mission not to make friends so him seeing me with them wouldn't have been good.

My heart suddenly saddens when I think of those specific thoughts. The concept of only being here for a mission was somehow making me feel sad.

Why am I sad?

I shouldn't be. Those boys are nothing to me. Once I leave, I'll eventually forget about them and move on with my life.

"Hana"

I move my gaze to Jisoo who called me and was now looking at me with a hint of worry in her eyes along with Minho who was expressing the same emotion.

I hmm in response and that's when I realize that I was probably staring at nothingness for a while.

"What's wrong?"

I shake my head before plastering the most realistic smile I could before answering back.

"I'm fine."

She nods her head but I could see that she wasn't fully convinced but nevertheless she let it go. I watch them finish up and find it the perfect opportunity to break the tension growing.

"If y'all are done should we get going, I'm really tired."

They both agree and we all get up from our seat and head outside to the sun shinning its rays from the slightly dark ocean blue sky.

The gentle summer breeze hitting me as soon I take a step out from the restaurant.

"Hana!"

My head turns towards the voice without recognizing it and as soon as my eyes land on the figure, they enlarge to the maximum limite.
