As I tried to thank them, nothing came out of my mouth because the person who prevented me from face planting the floor is none other than him. 

What is he doing here? He should be with her. 

“Are you ok?” he asked in a cold voice. He is the stupidest person I have ever met in my life. I immediately snatched my arm from his hand and it seemed to make him angrier. He suddenly grabbed my hand and placed me against the door of a room. I tried pushing him away but he is standing there like a hard wall. To be specific, a hard wall is currently pressing me against the door leaving no space between us.

“Let me go,” I said angrily which infuriated him more. 

“What the hell! Can't you walk properly without falling for once?” he questioned in an angry tone. 

Wait, why is he being concerned about me. 

“It's none of your business whether I know how to walk properly or not. So let me go” I said in a tone matching his. 

“Yes, it is none of my concern.” He muttered and continued his questioning “Don't you know how to knock before entering someone’s room? Didn’t your mom and dad teach you anything?” 

Why is he bringing my mom and dad in between us? They did nothing to him. 

Anger bubbled in me. 

“I knocked on your door but I got no response and your door was open. If you want people to knock on your door, first learn how to close it properly. And for your kind information, my parents have taught me everything. They taught me not to barge into someone's room without their consent unlike some people” I said the last sentence in a mocking tone. Tears were threatening to fall from my eyes. 

Why did he have to include my parents in this?

“This is my house. I can barge into any room I want. You are no one to tell me what I should and shouldn’t do” he said through clenched teeth. 

“Yes, I'm no one to tell you what to do. Can you let me go now because I have someone waiting for me? I think you have someone waiting for you too. It will be better if you stop wasting your time on no one like me and go and attend to your important person” I said in a calm voice which managed to piss him more. I snatched my hands from his hold and pushed him back a little bit. To my surprise, he moved back and I started walking away from his presence. 

He disgusts me so much. How can he leave the girl he was making out with a while ago alone and come after a person who means nothing to him? My hate for him is increasing day by day. He is still standing there and watching me leave. I went back to the living room where Jack is waiting for me. 

“You took more time than I expected. Never mind, come here. I made a plan to make it up to you” he said in an exciting tone with a smile etched on his face. 

“Sorry, some unwanted things came up. Forget about it. What plans have you made?” I asked him in the same exciting tone. I can't let my thoughts about him ruin my plans. Soon I forgot about him as I was so excited about going and having some fun. Jack has decided to take me to an amusement park for our day out. 

“Jack I like amusement parks so much! I'm so excited about it” I said with happiness oozing out of each word. 

“I know how you are crazily in love with amusement parks. That's why I chose it this time.” We both were laughing and my laughter faded when he came down with her. Jack spotted them too. “Finally you came down. Done discussing the group project?” Jack asked them. 

Yes of course they are done with smooching. Oh no, my bad. ‘Discussing the project’-that's what they were doing. 

“Jane, did you meet Olivia? She is in our group project” Jack introduced us. Our eyes meet and she is blushing with embarrassment. I didn't want to make the situation more awkward so I uttered a simple “Hello”. 

She greeted me back with a smile. I guess she is staying for dinner. We were all sitting and chatting in the living room. I was busy discussing our plans with Jack. I am telling him what we will do on that day. Each time I laughed with Jack, I was receiving a death glare. But you all know what I did about it. Yes, you guessed it right. I glared right back. 

“Jane, can you help me out in the kitchen for a while?” the aunt called me. As I was about to enter the kitchen, Aunt took my hand and dragged me inside. 

“Did you see her?” the aunt asked me. 

“See who?” I questioned back.

“That girl sitting in our living room, Jane. I don't like her. How can he bring some random girl when we have such a beautiful girl at our home? I can't believe him” aunt exclaimed in frustration. 

“What's wrong with her aunt? I think she is a nice girl. You should try talking to her” I said to the aunt. My answer doesn’t settle well with her. 

“What's wrong with you Jane? You are okay with him bringing a random girl home. I don't like it. You should keep a hold on him.”

“What are you talking about, aunt? Why will I keep a hold on him? ” I asked her in confusion. 

“You will understand soon Jane. Come let's go for dinner” she said while smiling at me We were all having our dinner. I sat beside the aunt and uncle took the head chair. Jack is across me while Olivia sits beside ‘him’. Jack is informing me that we will go to the amusement park this Sunday. I told him that we are going to ride every ride and he agreed. 

Olivia was trying to talk with ‘him’ but he was not responding to her. He keeps looking at Jack and me all the time. I felt pity for her. How can someone treat their girlfriend like that? 

He is such a devil.

“So what plans are you making,” the aunt asked me and Jack me with a smile. 

“We are going to the amusement park this Sunday,” Jack replied to the aunt with happiness. 

“What?” exclaimed a sudden voice. We all diverted our gaze to that person and you can guess who it is. His shocked expression turned cold again after he realized our attention was on him. 

“You didn't tell me, Jack,” he asked Jack with the same cold tone. 

“We decided today. Why don't you come with us too? What do you say Olivia?” he asked both of them with the same excitement. 

“Can we?” she asked excitedly. He simply rolled his eyes in response to her. Wait, did he just roll his eyes. Oh god, please give me the strength to hold in my anger or I'm going to kill him. 

After some time he said yes while staring straight at me with his cold gaze which translated to ‘be ready to die. After dinner, Jack and Olivia left together as he was going to drop her home. I helped my aunt with some work in the kitchen. The later aunt told me about the ball they attended and after chit-chatting for a bit I left for my room. 

God, I'm so tired. It was a long day and I wanted to end it but all my plans went to drain as I entered my room. He was 

already there and started walking in my direction when he saw me entering my room. 

What is he doing in my room? He takes a 

a few steps in my direction which made me step back. At last, my back crashed against the wall and he is standing near me with his face so close to mine. Placing his hands on either side of my head he asked me in his cold voice “What took you so 

long?”

“What?” came out of my mouth automatically as I was still staring at his face. I am trying to figure out what he is doing in my room. 

“Are you purposely trying to piss me off by doing this?” boomed his voice. He is beyond angry while I am still wondering what I did to enrage him. “How many times have I told you that I don't like you going out with Jack? And now because of you my Sunday is going to get ruined in that bloody amusement park” he exclaimed frustratingly while clenching his teeth. 

What is he talking about? If he doesn't if he wanted to go then he shouldn’t have accepted Jack’s invitation. Now he is behaving like a bipolar person that makes me want to kill him.

“Did I force you to come with us? If you don't want to come I will inform Jack about it. Now if you can move aside I want to go sleep” I said in a collected manner which made him more pissed if possible. 

“Don't you try to act smart with me?” he said while moving his face closer to my ear. His 

lips touching my ear sending a tickling sensation throughout my body. 

“If you don't want to lose your bloody amusement park date like that movie one, then don't act smart in front of me. You never know what I will do”. He said in a threatening tone and left the room. I am still standing there in shock. He did something because of which 

Jack didn't show up last time. What did he do?
