A/N: My plan was to wait until the weekend to write this but I'm way too hyped about this-

The basement door creaked open, two boys glancing into the dark and dusty room. Snickers were heard before the light switch flicked on.

"Dude, you could hide a body in here." Remus smiled, pulling his best friend Patton into the basement.

Patton side-stepped an old pile of books, looking nervously to Remus. "My parents said not to come down here, Rem.."

Remus rolled his eyes, ignoring the comment as he drew lines in the dust with his fingers. "When was the last time someone was in here?"

"I never see my dad come down here..." Patton mumbled, stepping to the center of the room.

The surrounding area was mostly piles upon piles of boxes and old books. Dust and ripped clothing scattered the floor.

Remus coughed into his hand. "You can't see shit in all this dust."

Patton shot a small glare at Remus. "My parents will hear if you swear."

"Is that a challenge?"

"Remus!"

"Okay, okay, fine." Remus scoffed, kicking a pile of books to make it topple.

The book stack fell in front of Patton, causing him to jump back in a bit of surprise. "Can we just get out of here..?"

"No, no, wait.. What the hell.." Remus mumbled things to himself, bending down and reaching into a box, pulling out something Patton couldn't see from where he was standing.

"Hey, what's that?" Patton asked, peeking his head over Remus' shoulder.

Remus pulled out a jar with what seemed like a small ball of light bounce around the jar. The two friends peered at the light for a moment, getting lost in the bright source.

"Rem... What is that..?"

"A jar-?"

Patton rolled his eyes slightly. "I meant what's inside the jar?!"

"...Light?"

"I know it's a light but-"

Without warning, the light shot towards Remus, the jar launching forward and out of Remus' hands.

"Hey! What the-!?"

Patton grabbed the jar, groaning. "We need to call the others.."

Remus scrambled up, grabbing his phone. "I'll call Jan-Jan!"

Patton giggled, holding the jar to his chest.
