Percy's POV

I was currently seated in the dining room in my mom and Paul's apartment in Manhatten. I was sitting in between Annabeth and my mom because it was a round table.

We were eating a second Christmas lunch because we hadn't had a Christmas feast with my mom and Paul yet.

I was enjoying eating my potatoes and roast turkey when suddenly Annabeth got up from the table, looking pale and ran to the bathroom.

I immediately got up and followed her to make sure she was okay. I found her in the bathroom bent over the toilet vomiting up the contents of her stomach.

I knelt down next to her and pulled her hair out of he way of her face and tucked it into the back of her shirt. I held her as she continued to vomit for the next five minutes.

Once she finished she was shaking and I helped to clean her up. "Annabeth, are you okay? What was that about?"

She was still pale and shaky but she answered, "Percy, there's something I've been meaning to tell you," I immediately prepared for the worst, "Percy...I'm-I'm pregnant."

I was stunned. I had honestly not been expecting this. At all. We weren't even married yet!

"Oh my gods," I answered, still in shock. Annabeth looked away.

"I'm sorry. I've known for about a week now I just didn't know how to tell you and I'm sorry if it's too soon and you don't want-" I cut her off with a kiss.

"Hey, it's fine. It might be a bit earlier than planned and a bit of a shock but I'm seriously SO excited! Annabeth, we're going to be parents!" I replied. Annabeth smiled as I grinned like a crazy person.

Annabeth hugged me and I hugged her back. "And we don't have to tell anyone if you don't want to," I added.

"Maybe not just yet. Okay?" Annabeth replied.

"Okay," I replied, "now come on. Let's go back and finish the lunch."

Annabeth was still pale and shaking but I helped her back out to the dining room.

"Are you okay?" My mother immediately asked worriedly as I helped Annabeth sit down and sat down myself.

"Yeah," Annabeth replied weakly as she looked down at her food and pushed a potato around her plate with her for without actually eating anything.

My mom looked at her, a look I couldn't quite decipher on her face. Suddenly she burst out, "oh my gods!"

Annabeth, Paul and I all stopped and looked up to my mother.

"What?" Paul asked, actually really confused.

A sideways grin appeared on my moms face, "are you...?" She said looking at Annabeth.

Annabeth blushed madly and looked at me for help, "uuuhhhhhhh," she said unintelligently, for once in her life.

"Oh my gods you are!" My mom practically screeched, "that's...thats fantastic!"

"Wait..." Paul started to put the pieces together, "are you...are you...pregnant?"

"Ummm," Annabeth bit her lip awkwardly, she looked down, "yeah," she whispered. I looked down, following Annabeth's action.

"Oh..." Paul said awkwardly, "well...that's great news, I guess!"

"Yeah," I said, suddenly really happy, "yeah, it is!"

Okay guys so I'm going to try to update quite a few chapters on all of my stories over the next few days because tomorrow is Australia Day 🎉🎊🎈🎉🎊🎈🎈🎉🎊🎉🎈🎊🎊🎉🎉🎈(non Australians you can just enjoy all the updates)
