The next morning you started to fix yourself.Not for work,but for the arrival of your family.

You missed them a lot.

You wore a simple (favorite color) shirt and (jeans/skirt/shorts),then (sneakers/heels/boots)below.You're going to fetch them at the airport today,so it's best if you looked good.

You grabbed your purse after you combed your hair.As you headed outside,the sky is still dark,mainly because it's still 4 AM.

You usually aren't scared of the dark especially if it's morning:but suddenly,you felt unusual goosebumps.

You stopped in your tracks and looked around at the deserted area to see if someone was there-- stalking or at least staring at you.But no one.

You decided to just continue walking,but by the time you faced forward, you met one of those things that hunt Pangaea,which is you.

Usually,your first reaction was to scream,but couldn't do it because you were frozen in shock and is extremely scared as you remembered your first encounter with it.

I knew I should've brought my weapons along!

But that would be kinda stupid and you didn't expect it to appear at this time of day.Besides,you don't know how to use those so it'll be pointless.

The thing's face suddenly opened in half,revealing hundreds of sharp,bloody fangs.

You were pushed harshly, making you wince in pain.You wanted to cry so bad,because you wouldn't want to die yet and surprise your family with this news.

As it was nearing you,you searched around for a near weapon.But the rocks,twigs and metal pipes are far away to reach,and it'll be too long to reach for it you wouldn't be surprised if it's already too late.

So mustering all the courage left in your small frame,you stretched your right leg forward to kick it.And you succeeded when it backed away a few steps.

Your face brightened as you prepared yourself to run,but when you turn around you saw two other of those things,making you gasp.

Is this...my end?

Your lips quivered as you held back tears and closed your eyes.

At least I tried,right?

And then you heard a slicing of flesh.Is it yours?No,you didn't even feel it--impossible.But you were too scared to open your eyes.What if you're wrong?

A slash.Another slash.Clothes rustling.Sound of running around.Heavy breaths.Shrieking in pain.

Yep,definitely not yours.

You fluttered your eyes open,and to your utmost shock;Japan stood there glorious as ever,holding his katana in his left hand,with black blood dripping from it.He looked like a sword master,not staining his shirt(yeah.He's wearing a stylish blue shirt paired with black pants and red converses)with blood.

You looked around and saw the things on the ground.Slowly,they started to fade away.

((A/N:Remember some of Japan's words might have 'R' in them because of his accent but actually it's 'L'.))

"Pangaea!What are you thinking!?"

You snapped your head to Japan who looked really mad.

For a quiet man like him it was strange to hear him raise his voice.

"What?"you asked softly.

"You shourd've brought your weapons arong!What's the use of it!?"

"What's the use of it if I don't even know how to use it?"you muttered,but he ignored it and continued lecturing you.

"What if I didn't arrive!?Then you'rr be dead!"

He went near you and you thought he would punch or slap you(wait what) so you tightly closed your eyes shut.

But he suddenly hugged you tightly,making you surprised.

"Kiku?"you opened your eyes and tried to look at him but all you could see was hair and his red ears.

He nuzzled his head at the crook of your neck.You tried hard not to giggle because you might ruin the moment,and we all know you wouldn't want that.

"We can't afford to rose you again.We...need you."his breath tickled your skin,and you just wished he'd just go away.Because if he utters another word you're sure to laugh your ass.

You awkwardly patted his back to soothe him and maybe calm him down,but then you remembered something.

"Kiku--i mean Japan,"

He pulled away with a red face(which you tried hard not to tease him about).

"Sorry about earrier,(Y/n)-san.And don't worry,Kiku is fine when we are not in business. Yes?"

"Uhm...not to be rude,but i was wondering what are you doing here?"

He looked around to check if the coast is clear,before putting his Katana back to its' sheath.

"Did you forget the schedure of our training?"

You blinked before everything crashed down on you.Today is Saturday.Which means training.

"Aah!I'm very sorry I completely forgot!That's so irresponsible of me,"you sincerly apologized,feeling guilty.

He sighed.

"It's okay.That's why I came here to fetch you."

"B-But...can it not be canceled?I was about to fetch my family at the airport now.Sorry."

Japan seemed to ponder on it for awhile before bringing out his new phone(which America gave him as a present).

"I'm going to terr Germany that I wourd be rate.You see,both of them don't know that you wourd be participating as werr today."

"That's fine...but late?You?Why?"you frowned.

"I'm going to accompany you on your way there.Who knows if you courd encounter more of them."

You suddenly felt miserable so you looked down your feet.

"I'm really sorry for the bother,Kiku.I should be the one protecting you guys...but here you are.Taking care of me like a baby.I'm the dumbest person ever,"

"Don't say that."

You looked up at him and he still had that serious expression on,but his eyes are expressing a lot of emotions.

"Don't you ever think about yourserf that way ever again.It's my decision, and you're...you have an important rore on each and everyone of us."

You nodded,flattered enough to say anything.

Japan started to walk in front of you as he inserts his phone at his pocket,and so you followed suit.

"Let's hail a cab."you said,breaking the silence.

"Why?"he looked back at you through his shoulder."At this time?I doubt there wourd be a cab."

"But i'm pretty sure we don't know the way to the airport via feet,"

He paused for a minute.

"I guess waiting for a short time isn't that arr bad..."

"Here!!!"you called as you waved frantically,trying to catch their attention.

You arrived just in time when the speakers announced around the place that the plane from Australia had already landed.

Your family noticed this,so they rushed to you and you all exchanged hugs and kisses.

"I couldn't believe that one day I would say this,but i missed you a hella lot,(Y/n)!"your (brother/sister) grinned.

You rolled your eyes and playfully pushed (him/her).

"Shut up."

"Sooo..."your mother interrupted."Who's that?"

She pointed at Japan who was watching the scene.

"Konnichiwa,I'm Kiku Honda.Nice to meet you Mrs.(L/n),Mr.(L/n),(Y/n)'s (brother/sister).I'm (Y/n)'s friend."he introduced as he bowed.

Your family looked at one another,and you heard (S/n) mutter,"Damn he's so polite."

Your father cleared his throat and offered him a handshake,which he accepted.

"Yeah,nice meeting you.It's nice for having a guy like you accompany our daughter."

Japan just nodded with a small smile.

You mother went near your side and whispered loudly.

"Isn't he your suitor?"

You stared at her incredulously before blushing.

"Mom!"

"What?I think he's cute--and a keeper,if I might add."

You looked over at Japan and caught him staring,and it seemed everybody heard your little conversation,because your dad was scowling at your mom,(S/n) wolf-whistling and Japan blushing.

"Say,why don't we invite Kiku here for breakfast?"your mom suggested as she opened the gate of your house.

"Huh?"you and (S/n) frowned.

"That's a good idea,"Your father nodded as you all entered your property.

"Thank you but no thank you,"Japan politely declined the offer."But I think me and (Y/n) has more errands to do."

You all froze at what he said.

"Like...what?"you dad asked lowly as he gave you two an accusing stare.

"Knew it.These guys are officially dating!"(S/n) cheered.

"No we are not!"you defensively glared at them.

"Me and (Y/n) planned to go for an early jogging with some friends after we fetched you,"he forced a smile."If it's okay with you?"

"Ah.Okay."your mom winked at you."So don't need to worry,(Father's name)!"she said as she nudged your father's side.

"So...i'll be off,then?"you asked,getting ready to grab your weapons at the backyard,located behind the bush and put it inside your bag.

"Sure."they all said in unison.

Your mom suddenly neared you and whispered to your ear teasingly.

"When you come back later,tell me more about him and how you met."

Oh dear.You have to lie lots later,then.

Or be sure to come back at dawn so they wouldn't have the chance to interrogate.But that would make them furious,so no.

But why would you lie to them?Well...maybe because you aren't comfortable to tell them your big responsibility yet.And (G/m/n)'s death.They just...looked so happy.And you wouldn't want to be the cause of their depression.

"Sorry of my parents' behaviour."you mumbled shyly,but enough for him to understand.

"It's okay."

You two walked together to the fancy open field.Good for you,Italy and Germany are coincidentally here in America,so you wouldn't have to go board a plane.Speaking of those two,you wondered what they look and act like.

Your vision can see two figures at bay,but since you aren't an eagle you have to get closer to get a clear look of their faces.

And you let Japan walk up to them while you stood far behind,nervous enough to interact.

"Konnichiwa,Germany,Japan."you faintly heard Japan said."Sorry if I got rate.Anyway,i'm proud to say that I already found the new Pangaea."

"Wait!What?!"

"Ve~really?"

Japan looked back to you and so the two others followed what he was looking at.

The three rushed to you and the sight of a familiar man made you gasp.

Italy opened his eyes wide,surprised.Even Japan and Germany was surprised by his actions.

"Wait-a,"he grinned."I know her!!!"

"Feliciano!?"you squeaked out.

"(Y/n)~!"he happily said in a sing-sang tune.
