Over these few days, you lost yourself.

You ceased giving your signature smiles anymore, and always punished the cadets so hard that Erwin had to stop you from continuing. He brought you to his office, talked to you and decided that rest was best for you, and granted you 2 days of vacation.

"F/N. Have a good rest. Clear your mind up a little. Come find me if you need a helping hand." Erwin said as he gave you a little hug.

You felt nothing.

You went back to your room, feeling empty. You begin to reminisce the memories that both you and Eren had enjoyed. You remember the time when Eren confessed to you about his love for you in such a romantic way that Hanji saw the whole thing and spread the news that you and Eren were together. Even Levi and Erwin knew it. You were so embarrassed that you had to calm an angry Eren down. You smiled. Tears begin to fall.

"I miss you, Eren. Please come back to my side." You murmured softly as you buried your head into Eren's pillow, crying.

The day after, you decided that thinking about Eren all day was not good at all, and decided to put him down and continue with life. Preparing yourself, you looked yourself at the mirror. "F/N L/N. Life goes on." You said as you leave your room

As you reach the HQ, you saw a group of people gathering. Curious, you walked over to see what was the commotion.

It was Eren, severely injured, lying against his horse's back. Blood was trickling down the horse's hoofs.

"Eren!!" You pushed people to the side and quickly rushed to him. "Eren!! Eren can you hear me??" No response. You felt his pulse at his neck. It was beating, but dangerously slow. You rode on his horse and rushed to the infirmary.

"Hanji!! Eren's alive!! I need your help!!" You shouted for her infront of the imfirmary. Hanji came rushing in and helped you carry Eren to an available bed. White crisp bedsheets were stained red. Hanji cut open his shirt and did a thorough examination. "F/N he's going for a surgery!! He's got a lot of internal injuries!!" Hanji said as she shouted for other medical officers to come here and send Eren into the operation room.

"F/N stay here. I promise I'll save him!" Hanji said as she went into the operation room. "God please I pray that Eren will survive through the operation..." You prayed deeply in your heart, leaning and sliding down the wall.

"..F/N? F/N?" You open your eyes to see Erwin tapping on your shoulders to wake you up. Realising that the surgery was over, you immediately stood up and ran to Hanji's office, ignoring what Erwin was about to say.

"Hanji!! How's Eren??" You asked anxiously.

"F/N, Eren's fine. He's a tough one. His insides were like scrambled eggs when I opened him up. Not only that he suffered-" You rushed to Eren's room, not listening to Hanji's explanation at all.

You didn't care what injuries Eren suffered.

All you know that he is alive.

You huffed and puffed as you reach his bed. Eren has not woken up yet, due to the anaesthetic. His body was full of bandages, and a oxygen mask covered his nose and mouth. You sat down on the chair, trembling. He was alive afterall, you thought. Your hands reached for his, and entangled his fingers together with yours. You gave a small kiss on the back of his hand. Sobs were heard. You thanked God for him being alive. You were grateful.

"F/N.. stop crying. I am here, well and alive." A voice was heard, and a hand petted your head. You lift your head up to see Eren, giving you a weak smile.

"Eren!!" You stood up and gave him a hug, careful not to cause any pain to his injuries. Eren hugged back gently.

"Eren.. I thought the worst happened to you.. What the hell did you do outside the walls?!" You questioned him, obviously angry at what he did that caused him those injuries.

"Sorry F/N, just had a little trouble... My 3DMG busted suddenly, and landed on the ground, quite hard that I hit my head. And err... cracked a few ribs and got some internal injuries. I turned to a titan to kill all those titans near me. Afterwards I walked around, whistling for my horse.  Took me so much whistling for my stupid horse to come galloping towards me." Eren coughed a little, which made his ribs hurt so much. You soothed him a little and he continued talking after little rest.

"We hid in a bush and rested. Before dawn, I rode on my horse and raced back to the walls.. Luckily I didn't meet any titans on the way back..." Eren said with a little smile on his face.

"Idiot!! Don't you dare do that on me again!!" You said as you punched Eren on his arm lightly.

"Sorry F/N. Come closer." Eren said. As instructed, you came closer, and Eren brought his head closer to you.

"I love you F/N, you are the best!" Eren said with a giggle.
