I got weird looks from the bots.

  "Language." Ratchet grumped at me.

I quickly took the humidity from the air, multiplying the water atoms, covering Moon's body in a thin layer.

I clamped my eyes shut, concentrating.

A sliver light formed around the former demigod, healing her friend.

Moon felt the aching in her head dull. Just a little.

Moon felt her head and chest relax, her body cooling.

I could feel a hand just above my head. Not touching me, just hovering.

I raise my hand, even though I did it slowly, wrapping my fingers around the hand gently.

The Alpha opened her eyes, exhaustion draining out of her.

Silver was healing me.

I pull her down on the couch, wrapping my arms around her in a hug.

I cried happy tears, the glow in my chest showing itself again.

I melted into her hug, exhausted. It was easier to heal myself than other people.

The glow around my body faded, the glow in her chest glowing bright.

I smiled weakly. "Moon." I breath deeply. "Better?"

I nod, feeling my strength build more and more.

How much of her strength had she given me?

Silver looked exhausted.

I was a little surprised with the glow in my chest. It hadn't surfaced in four years.

I let Silver out of my hug, helping her sit up as I stood.

"Come on. I'll fix you up." I say, holding out my hand.

"Taks care of Star and yourself first." I say, standing on my Jell-O legs.

I shake my head, ignoring the comment and looping her arm behind my neck, helping her to the elevator.

"Thanks, Moon." I say, feeling as if she should just sit down and chill for a bit.  I've had worse wounds before.

I felt as if she was resisting my help.  I ignored it, helping her sit on the edge.

"Sit down." I say, easing her to the ground.

"Yes mom." I mutter, letting her help me sit.

I chuckle, the glow in my chest fading as I sit next to her.

I stare at the moon, relaxing. Ever since I was little, that was the constant thing that could calm me down almost instantly.

"Where does it hurt?" I ask her, watching her shift in pain.

I put my wing behind her spine, preventing her from falling backwards.

"Don't wanna be a bother." I mutter. "Was my own fault, anyway."

I glare at my sister.

"Don't even.  That in itself is selfless.  Where does it hurt?" I demand, a stern stare on my face.

"Selfless?  It was selfish." I mutter to myself.

My face slackens. Why does she think she was being selfish?

"Why do you think that way?  You did something great...  But you see it as...  Wrong...  I guess..." I say, looking at her exhausted eyes.

"Sorry." I mutter quickly.

"You aren't selfish. If you were, you wouldn't have stayed with me when I was knocked out.  Wouldn't have healed me.  Wouldn't give me comfort when I need it most.  You are many things, including a role model for Star who sees you as an aunt.  You are one of my best friends, a sister, in fact. You've helped me so many times I've lost count. You are NOT selfish."

I say, my protective nature rising.

"And no need to be sorry.  Just tell me where it hurts. And I'll fix it. Just like you fixed me." I say, my tone softening, the gentle mother in me taking the protectiveness' place.

I sigh. "Here." I point to my chest, just over ny heart.

I take my dagger and prick my finger, squeezing a drop of blood from my fingertips.

I rub my fingers together, rubbing the access on my forearm.

I take all I need and wipe it on her chest, and my blood glowed for a moment, finally sinking into her skin.

"Feel better?" I ask, putting my dagger away and the point on my finger closed.

I smile sadly.

So many bad people wanted my blood. But she was one of the two I could really trust with it.

"Yeah. Thanks Moon." I say, tugging her into a hug.

  I wasn't exhausted anymore. I felt...  Normal.

Well, as normal as I could get.

I return the hug, my wings around her body.

I let go and stand up, morphing into my dragon form.

I gently pick her up by the torso, held by my maw.

I put her on my back, and I feel her hold on tightly.

I take off gently.

I glide around the

  But I hear something.  A baby.  A baby's cry.

I fly in closer to the spund, but something sounds a little like static in the backround.

  It was a recording.

  It was a trap.

I quickly swing my head around and grab Silver, speeding back towards base.

I finally land, my heart pulsing wildly.

I put her down and stand over her, my tail around my left side of my body.

I swivel my head back and forth, looking and listening for anything.

I hear something.

I growl deeply and softly, my neck close to the ground to snap at someone of they got too close.

"What's wrong?" I ask her, tilting my head.  She shook her head and snorted in response.

I bare my teeth, having an idea on why a baby's cry was being played.

I crouch down, trying to keep her protected the best I could without showing signs of weakness.

I stop growling and listen again.

  I hear it grow louder.

I snarl and growl and bare my teeth more, my wings extended.

I used my powers of echolocation to 'see' what was around us. Or what was wrong with her.

I kept feeling the same presence...  Just circling above us.

It hits me hard.

I know who this is.

I quickly grab her in my maw and gun it.

I can't let him get to me.  Can't let him get to her.

I was afraid. Terrified.

I can't let it happen again. Never again...  Never.

Never.
