The humans came up to the platform, almost not noticing me and Moon were here until I gave them a small wave.
The humans froze, shocked that thier 'completely normal' friend was at base, surrounded by giant robots and that I wasn't spazzing out.
"What are you doing here?!" Miko half-yelled, instantly snapping out of her shock to ask questions.
"Moon needed my help, then we were fine for a little while, then she needed my help again, then S knocked her out and here we are." I shoot back, hoping that the humans wouldn't put up too much of a fuss about me knowing Moon or the bots.
But as my "luck" would have it...
"How long have you known?" Miko screeched a little, making me wince.
Miko was asking all the questions for the boys, so they just stayed quiet and watched.
"Miko..." Bulkhead warned, looking a little guilty.
"So you're the one she was talking about." Jack said, tapping his foot.
(Author here. Okay, I know that doesn't make sense. Yet. I'm releasing a new book soon all about random stuff Moon and Silver do. All I have to say at the moment is spray paint, glitter, and pranks. Silver-Ashley, u know what's up!)
"Duh. I mean, who else gets into that much trouble? Definitely not Miko." I snort.
Ratchet scoffed at the comment. He glanced at the passed put Moon. "What did you do now?" He asked, grumpy, as always.
"And how did she get so stressed?" Raf asked, noticing how Moon's face was scrunched in stress, just a little.
"Okay, first off, I didn't do it! It was Anti!" I poke my tounge at Ratchet. "Second, that's between me and the magical family of four. I mean, unless Moon wants to tell you, then ask her later." I snap, my arms folded over my chest and eyebrow raised at the humans.
Moon shifted a little. She heard arguing. She didn't like arguing.
"What do you mean it was Anti?" Miko snapped, getting a little angry.
"STOP IT!!!" Little Star yelled, making everyone blink in surprise. They had never heard the five-year-old yell before.
Star went up to her mother and poked her wing gently, turning towards Silver.
"Auntie, what happened to Mama?" She asked me, her head cocked to the side a little.
She learned that from me.
I snort internally at the adorable big blue puppy eyes she was giving me.
I crouch down next to her, getting down on her level.
"Your mother was just upset. Your father just helped her by making her fall asleep. She's okay, just really needed a nap." I say, trying to word it in a way that made sense to her.
She nodded, giving me a hug before going to the loveseat and falling asleep.
I completely ignore Miko's question.
Optimus raised an eyebrow at Silver. He knew she wasn't telling the whole story.
Everyone knew it, but let it drop, knowing it was better for Star that way.
Moon's body twitched.
I heard the clang of sword colliding with one another.
I heard armor clattering.
I heard the loosings of hundreds of arrows at once.
I heard the whetstones sharpening blades.
I saw what no mother ever should.
I saw my son get stabbed in the back, going straight through his stomach.
Her body twitched violently, wanting the nightmare to stop.
I blinked at my friend, realizing she was having a bad dream.
I sigh, waving my hand over her head, giving her peaceful dreams. She needed it more than anyone.
Moon calmed, her breathing deep and cold. She curled up tighter on the couch, her wings acting as a second blanket beneath the wool blanket above her.
Optimus shot me a look saying "Tell us later."
I slightly nod to him, and then focus back on the humans. "Be quiet!" I snarl, giving them a 7% glare that made them flinch in fear.
But, hey, it worked.
I took my book out of my bag, (she actually wrote this in our chat) (Meeting (Chapter One)by Nightshade1300) and continued to read.
I had restarted the book after being kidnapped, and I was happy to say I was back to my old spot.
The humans went quiet the rest of the time they were at base, getting the hint that thier friend meant business.
After the humans went home and S took Nightshade back to the palace to eat, Silver was pressed to tell the bots what happened.
Moon was still out cold, blanket still over her wings, breathing slowly and dreaming peacefully.
"What happened?" Arcee asked me, asking the question everyone wanted to know.
"Anti's gone back to war." I turn a page in my book. "She was so upset when he left that S had to knock her out. And here we are." I say, not looking them in the eye.
"How long will he be gone?" Smokescreen asked, a little worried.
"Two." I reply quickly.
"Two what?" Arcee questioned her, getting worried.
I facepalmed, calling myself many profanities in many languages underneath my breath.
I then sigh, finally looking them in the eye.
"Years. Two years." I say, sadly glancing back into my book.
The bots blinked, shocked that they didn't hear about this sooner.
Optimus sighed, a little sadness in his eyes. "He will be missed by his sister."
"Yup." I mutter to myself, hair falling over my eyes and hiding a few tears from sight.
I was close friends with Anti, in some ways closer to him than Moon.
Moon groaned, her eyes clenched. All attention snapped on her.
Her body was aching. Her head felt as if it was being split open with an axe.
I opened my eyes, and my vision was blurry.
I was comfortably warm, on the couch, in base.
I tried my hardest to push myself up with my arms to leverage me off the couch, but my elbows buckled and I faltered.
I took a breath in and tried it again. I failed.
I saw Silver standing on the side of me and I smiled.
She waited for me to wake up.
"Hey Moony." I say, going over to the couch and helped her sit up.
Moon had faltered several times, her knees giving into her weight.
She winced as all her muscles were tight and tingling painfully.
She put a hand to her forehead, a headache something fierce.
Moon put one arm around Silver, the other pulling Silber into a tight hug.
"Hey... Silver." Moon barely managed to say, still exhausted beyond exhaustion.
"How are you feeling? I mean, other than total scrap." I ask her, helping her sit back down.
"Completely totaled scrap." Moon replied, groaning at her headache.
Moon rubbed her aching eyes tiredly. "Where's Star?"
I point to the loveseat where my niece was passed out. "She's over there. Didn't want to leave your side."
Moon nodded, then leaned forward. "How long was I out?"
"Pretty much the whole day." I reply.
Moon nodded, blinking as much sleep from her eyes as she could. "Ow... My head..."
"Are you alright?" Ratchet asked.
Moon stood with Silver's help, just getting her balance back.
"Just... Ow." Moon replied, gripping her head and flopping back down on the couch.
"Schist." I say, watching my friend falter. I look up and downher body, seeing if she was hurt on the outside.
I turn my head to the side and grin, still holding my head. "Watch your mouth."
Moon winced, a wave of pain smacking into her head. She buckled over, groaning.
"Ugh. I dont... Feel too..." Moon feel over on the couch, knocked out.
"Holy Schist of a Unicron!"
