19: Tour
I straightened my back in shock.
"W-what?"
I couldn't believe it.
"Our record talked with us, and since we're getting big we're going on tour, and we wouldn't want to leave you home alone. If you do go, Jenna will be watching you most of the time since Josh and I will be so busy. But you'll get to see our concert and meet Jim Dun."
I look at him in confusion.
"Jim....Dun?"
"Oh! Right, it's Josh's dog."
"Aw, how cute!"
I sat there, thinking.
What if I ruin the tour for them?
What if I mess up?
Well, I'd be monitored so I guess that would be pretty hard to achieve...
"Yes, I would love to go with you guys!"
They all cheered and hugged me, telling me when the tour starts and what to pack. They hung up my to-pack list on the fridge so that I can look at it when it gets closer to the time of leaving. We wouldn't be leaving for a few weeks, but I'm so ready to go!
After we talked out the details, I went up to my room and laid on my bed. I let my thoughts get to me.
You'd just be in the way.
They don't trust you to be alone, freak.
What if something goes wrong?
I tried to ignore my head as I fell asleep.
Time skip: a couple weeks later
(Nothing happened, they just hung out and she started online schooling and got her flu shot)
I groaned as the familiar beep of my alarm woke me up. I rolled over to check the time.
3:00AM.
Too damn early. But I gotta get up to go on tour!
I sat up and turned on my lamp light, stretching and yawning. I pulled out my suitcase from under my bed and checked to make sure everything I needed was there. I realized I forgot my sketchbook and earbuds, so I quickly packed those. As comfortable as my PJ's were, I knew I had to change. So I changed into comfy black jeggings, a black button up shirt, and a oversized hoodie that dad gave me.
I slowly walked downstairs and set my suitcase by the door, then I plopped down onto a seat in the kitchen, watching Jenna cook pancakes.
"Good morning dear." She said sweetly.
I just grunted to acknowledge that I heard her.
"Somebody's tired I see." She giggled.
"Well here's some pancakes, the other two already ate and they are helping the crew set up the bus right now. Make sure you have everything packed before we leave, okay?"
I nodded as she gave me that oh so common smile. She's so pretty. Her and I ate our pancakes as the TV in the living room played some news channel or something.
I finished my food and took care of my dishes, then went upstairs to double check that everything was taken care of. I grabbed my satchel and as I was about to leave, until I remembered something.
The razors.
I walked into the bathroom and looked under the cabinet. The top shelf didn't have any stuck away, but the bottom cabinet had one.
I know I shouldn't.
I know that no good will come from this.
But I need it.
Just in case.
I packed it into an inside pocket of my satchel and turned off the lights, locked the windows, and closed all doors. I joined Jenna on the couch as she flipped through TV channels. We offered to help the crew but they all politely denied it. Once thy were all finished, Tyler came inside and told us it's time to go. We stepped outside, said goodbye to the house, and made our way onto the tour bus.
Oh boy.
A/N: sorry for not updating, I've been going through a lot lately, I hope you understand. Enjoy this chapter, and happy new year!
