Backstory: Blu grew up on a beach where he lived until a young girl by the name of Lyn found him caught in a fish net. By freeing the young dragon, he owes her his life. He is always seen with Lyn, who has taken in the dragon as a replacement for her old horse, Trinity, that she had to give away. He now helps her deliver newspapers.

Backstory: Sakura was hatched deep in a forest and stuck out like a sore thumb. The other dragonets bullied her for her odd coloring so she ran away and went to a part of a forest filled with cherry blossom trees. She eats part of the cherry harvests and has lots of friends with alike coloring.

Backstory: Ai was taken from her home by poachers when she was only a few days old. The poachers killed her parents for their claws, teeth, and skin, and the poachers only kept her alive because she was too young to be skinned. She was abused in many ways and was left with many bruises, afraid to stand up for herself. A year later, she was rescues by a fox/dragon hybrid named Sunstreak. Sunstreak took care of Ai and named her because of how loving and caring she was. Ai made many friends at a sanctuary for animals just like her who had been abused, abandoned, were unique, etc.
