The Thanksgiving turkey is almost done,

the aroma of potatoes and meat and gravy

bring all the family this holiday season,

parents, uncles, aunts, the littlest baby.

The turkey is carved and on a platter,

the hungry crowd is sitting down,

the smell of dinner, the resounding laughter,

Say grace and gather roun'.
