Surreality (Achievement #66 = 4 points) (surreal picture)

Weary, I walked, down hard concrete streets,

that yielded nothing to my travel-sore feet,

slinking between granite buildings

that betrayed naught of life within.

Unremarked, I skulked down streets,

a maze of corners and turns

lacking entrance and exit,

that went nowhere.

I dreamt of home, of destination,

black clouds parted, silver within,

the street moved under me,

an autowalk that carried me along.

Trees grew tall as redwoods,

birds of green and ultra-violet sang arias,

curtains parted, the moon shone out,

and in a crowd of gentle people I slid along.

I turned a corner and found my way

rolling down familiar streets

as the world shifted and disappeared

when I woke up from dreaming.
