Starlights (JaneQuill28) 100 - Poem Challenge
Starlights
Day ends and sun is gone.
A silver moon begins to swell
and glides among the stars,
circling round in nightly carousel.
The night is quiet, dark, and shadowed.
Mother Moon has many tales to tell
till bitty drowsy starlights slumber,
and dreaming, slumber soft as well.
Restless stars will jump and stray.
I watched a starlight as it fell
and slipping, rested on the Earth.
I wonder where the starlights dwell.
