A short while later...

They've finally arrived at the top floor, a more open floor with a large, steel door in the middle being the main room.

Chase: "Looks like that's the generator room."

They walk up to the door, being cautious as to make sure no security measures kick in.

Julie: "I don't like how quiet this is."

Lisa: "Yeah, nothing up here except a door?"

Hammerhead: "Something's up."

They've gotten to the door, but nothing out of the ordinary has happened.

Kyoya: "S-So far s-so good..."

Chase places his hands on the valve, still nothing is happening.

Chase: "So bizarre..."

Chase is beginning to turn the valve as cautiously as possible.

Hammerhead: "Watch, we open this door, and we get to punch the hell out of Calius!"

A loud clang is heard.

Julie: "I'll keep us at the ready."

Chase and Hammerhead slowly push the door open.

Kyoya: "I-I'll keep an eye behind us!"

Kyoya keeps an eye on their backs as the door opens up.

Lisa: "H-Huh?"

They arrive in a large room with a multitude of terminals lining the walls, and the generator protected in a room with glass for walls.

Chase: "There;s no way this mystery helper could've left the generator this unguarded."

They step inside, no traps or anything in their way.

Hammerhead: "Unless he actually did..."

They inch closer and closer to the generator.

Julie: "If he did, that just makes him more suspicious."

They're soon within arm's reach of the glass.

Lisa: "This can't be a coincidence."

Hammerhead begins charging up as Lisa gets ready to punch.

Julie: "Go on. Once you destroy this thing, we're done here."

A single punch from Lisa shatters the glass, not a single alarm triggering.

Hammerhead: "Then we're out of here!"

He smashes straight through the final generator, forcing it to go out with a bang.

Lisa: "B-But what about Calius?"

Hammerhead joins back up.

Hammerhead: "The sooner we get out of here, the less likely we'll have to-"

Something smashes against the roof.

Julie: "Too late."

Calius smashes through the roof and in front of the heroes, his Accelerator augmentations all set.

Calius: "Final-"

Calius panics as he notices that his generator was already destroyed.

Calius: "Wh-What the?!"

Chase: "Yeah, you're finished."

Chase readies his plasma blades.

Calius: "M-MONO?! I thought you told me that they were nowhere near the generator ye-"

Calius falls forward as he takes a shock to the back of his neck.

Julie: "MONO?"

???: "You are no longer required Calius."

Calius's body stiffens back up straight, almost robotic and like other Accelerators.

Hammerhead: "U-Um... that's unsettling."

Calius lunges towards Chase and slugs him in the face, sending him flying into some of the terminals before he can even blink.

Lisa: "A-Ah shit! Chase!"

He can't even move his head.

Chase: "(in pain) Just do it guys! I can't move!"

Calius is no longer behaving like a human, more like a machine.

Kyoya: "W-We'll try!"

Kyoya fires his hand and grabs Calius by the neck, but he grabs the hand, rips it off, and flings Kyoya into some other terminals.

Julie: "Calius isn't in control! It's MONO!"

Hammerhead: "No shit Sherlock!

Kyoya gets back on his feet as Lisa evades another punch.

Julie: "We need to sever his connection to MONO!"

Lisa: "I-I'd like to know how!"

Chase is forced to be a spectator.

Chase: "(in pain) This isn't good. I'm the only one with a weapon more capable of severing anything."

Calius tries to kick Hammerhead in the face, but he blocks it in time and slides to the side by a few feet.

Hammerhead: "Hey are you still breathing Kyoya?"

Kyoya wipes off a little blood.

Kyoya: "I-I'm fine!"

Calius' neck snaps his head towards Kyoya.

Julie: "Watch out!"

Lisa grabs Kyoya and lifts him into the air to avoid another attack from Calius.

Julie: "Why is he targeting Kyoya?"

Calius is hounding Kyoya like a dog, Lisa having trouble keeping Kyoya safe.

Hammerhead: "Hey! Remember me?"

hammerhead gets behind Calius and holds him in place, clearly struggling against Calius' might.

Julie: "Kyoya! When I say go, fire your grapple at me!"

Kyoya: "Wh-Why?"

Chase puts together two and two in his head.

Chase: "(in head) The cord is unbreakable."

Calius is trying to actually break Hammerhead's arms.

Hammerhead: "(struggling) Hurry and give him the signal! My arms won't last much longer!"

Julie locks gazes with Kyoya.

Julie: "Now!"

Kyoya grabs Julie with his grapple as Hammerhead lets go, forcing him to slam right into the cord connecting them.

Julie: "Wrap around him Lisa!"

Lisa quickly does a loop around Calius before he can change course.

Hammerhead: "(in pain) Now what?"

Julie keeps wrapping around him,

Julie: "Can you work your way up?"

Kyoya: "A-Are you trying to-"

Julie: "Exactly!"

Calius is using every scrap of strength to try and slide out.

Lisa: "(struggling) Pull harder!"

Kyoya: "(struggling) I'm trying!"

Hammerhead helps pull on Julie's side, causing the areas where the cord surrounds Calius is beginning to bleed.

Hammerhead: "(struggling) Come on!"

Julie: "(struggling just a bit more!"

Chase gets back on his feet, completely dazed.

Chase: "(in pain) We'll take care of it."

Chase forces himself to grab the cord with Julie and Hammerhead.

Lisa: "Ch-Chase?!"

Julie: "Why are you pushing yourself?! You can barely turn your head!"

The cuts in Calius are growing deeper.

Chase: "(in pain) Once he's gone, I can heal."

Their pulling as tightly as possible, Calius growing more and more restless.

Hammerhead: "(smirking) Then let's deal with this bastard!"

The metal in his arms are bending like aluminum.

Chase: "(in pain) One more pull! Come on!"

They fight back with full force, slicing Calius in half with the cord, killing him instantly.

Kyoya: "W-We got him!"

As Kyoya's hand retracts, Chase falls to the floor unconscious.

Lisa: "Chase!"

Everyone gathers around him to confirm that he's out cold, not dead.

Julie: "Really pushed himself getting us here."

Julie gets Chase on her back.

Julie: "We'd better get him to the infirmary in Sector B."

She stumbles for a moment, but Kyoya offers support.

Kyoya: "L-Let's hurry!"

They head for the exit, still holding their mysterious helper in an unusual spot in their minds...
