A little while later...

The heroes have just returned from the west wing and are about to unlock the central area.

Lisa: "The generator is somewhere in here."

Julie swipes the keycard, opening the door to find a room filled with what appear to be beta Accelerators, their mangled bodies lining the walls.

Julie: "Looks like we found where they tested out Accelerator neural attachments."

They step inside to see that there's a staircase leading down at the other end of the room.

Hammerhead: "Holy shit..."

Kyoya is beginning to hyperventilate.

Kyoya: "(hyperventilating) Th-They all died here?!"

Lisa places her hand on his shoulder.

Lisa: "We'd better hurry, or we'll lose more than all of these children."

Julie and Hammerhead head for the stairs.

Julie: "This way."

The other follow.

However...

Diyad is getting ready to land at the front of Sector D.

Diyad: "They should still be stuck in the lobby if they got anywhere at all."

He leaps outside his helicopter with a slim, mechanical arm.

Diyad: "Watch and-"

He enters the building to find that the central area has been unlocked.

Diyad: "Wh-What the hell?!"

He panics as he heads straight for the stairs.

Diyad: "(panicking) I locked up all of the keycards! How the hell did they get through?!"

He heads down the stairs.

A short while later...

Everyone has arrived at a large door with three keycard slots.

Hammerhead: "Three slots?"

Julie, Kyoya, and Lisa pull out all three keycards.

Lisa: "We've got three keys."

They all insert their cards simultaneously, causing the door to begin creaking open with a loud rumble.

???: "Step away from the door!"

A wire giving off an obscene amount of electricity tries to electrocute Lisa from behind.

Kyoya: "H-Huh?!"

They turn around to meet an agitated Diyad ready to kill them in a heartbeat.

Julie: "Well look who's here!"

The wire was an extension from his arm, confirmed by the retraction of of the wire.

Diyad: "How did you get in here?! I locked up those keycards!"

Kyoya and Lisa head down the doorway.

Hammerhead: "Thank your inside man on that!"

The others dart ahead.

Diyad: "(pissed) Inside man?"

Diyad readies his wire again.

Diyad: "Like hell we'd let something like that slip!"

Diyad chases after them, swinging his whip around like a madman.

Lisa: "He's gaining on us!"

Julie draws her pistol.

Julie: "I'll try and keep him busy!"

Julie tosses her keycard to Hammerhead.

Hammerhead: "I get the picture!"

Another door lies ahead.

Lisa: "Really keeping this generator locked up!"

They locate the three slots in three vastly different areas as Diyad makes a mark on Julie.

Julie: "(in pain) Hurry and get the door open!"

They use their abilities to get to their slots faster.

Diyad: "Stop it!"

They open the door as Julie takes an unforeseen amount of volts to the arm.

Kyoya: "Julie!"

Julie: "(in pain) Just go!"

They all push ahead, making Diyad more and more furious.

Diyad: "You have no right to destroy our hard work!"

Hammerhead: "Don't need a right to kill a bunch of dictators!"

They can see the bottom of the stairs.

Diyad: "I won't let you!"

Diyad does a low sweep that sends Julie right off her feet and tumbling towards the others.

Julie: "(in pain) Get out of the way!"

Julie crashes right into Kyoya, but Lisa grabs Hammerhead and picks up Hammerhead to avoid the attack.

Diyad: "Die, die, die, die, DIE!!!!!"

Kyoya's card is flying through the wind as the remaining three reach the bottom.

Lisa: "Get the card!"

Diyad is making a mad dash for the card as Lisa sends Hammerhead flying towards it.

Hammerhead: "Out of the way asshole!"

Hammerhead activates his augmentation the second he touches the floor, charging straight for Diyad.

Diyad: "I can't get out of the way in time!"

Hammerhead treats Diyad like a bowling pin before grabbing the keycard.

Lisa: "Come on! The generator should be just ahead!"

Kyoya is getting back on his feet.

Kyoya: "I-I'm coming!"

Diyad quickly ensnares Kyoya in his electrical whip.

Diyad: "That door won't open unless all three keys are inserted simultaneously."

Kyoya is taking millions of volts from Diyad and Julie can't even get onto her knees, leaving Lisa and Hammerhead as the only ones standing.

Hammerhead: "Oh shit..."

Kyoya is dropped to the floor unconscious and smells like a barbecue.

Diyad: "What can you two do?"

Lisa: "U-Um..."

Julie: "(in pain) You two have to beat him before we can get to the generator!"

They glance towards Julie.

Hammerhead: "No problem at all!"

Lisa dislocates her elbow.

Kyoya: "(weakly) Hurry..."

Diyad readies his whip.

Diyad: "Then let's see how far arrogance can take you."

Diyad cracks his whip before heading for Lisa.

Lisa: "Ground and air pincer strategy!"

Lisa takes to the skies as Hammerhead makes some distance between him and Diyad.

Diyad: "Nice try girl!"

Diyad targets Lisa for his next attack, but she keeps dodging.

Lisa: "(in head) Hurry! I can't keep this up forever!"

Hammerhead is charging straight for Diyad.

Diyad: "I didn't forget about you!"

Diyad redirects his attacks towards Hammerhead as he gets up close.

Hammerhead: "But you did forget about her!"

Lisa is attacking from behind as Diyad's whip ensnares Hammerhead's arm.

Diyad: "Wh-What?!"

Lisa gets ready for one hell of a punch.

Lisa: "Burn in hell you bastard!"

Lisa sends a downward punch straight through his skull, shattering his skull and turning his brain into a bloody pulp.

Hammerhead: "(gritting teeth) Nice one!"

Hammerhead took quite a beating to the arm, but he's still standing.

Julie: "(in pain) Get me to a slot."

Lisa helps Julie to her feet as Hammerhead tosses her a card.

Lisa: "Once we take care of the generator, we'll get you two out of here."

Lisa places Julie against a slot as she gets to hers.

Hammerhead: "Ready?"

Girls: "Ready."

They slide their cards in simultaneously, causing the door to slowly open.

Hammerhead: "I'll bash it down! You get Julie out of here!"

Lisa gets Julie as Hammerhead dashes into the generator room, hearing one hell of an explosion in the process.

Meanwhile...

Chase watches as the Accelerators start getting back to their senses.

Chase: "About time!"

His army was badly injured during the fight, but they're still breathing.

Chase: "I hope nothing too nasty happened duringthe fight..."
