"With seven stars earned, Leopold Vermillion of the Crimson Lion Kings."

Kana gives a side glance at her captain and watches the proud smile on his face, then back at the ceremony.

"I grant you the title of Intermediate Magic Knight, Second Class," Julius announces as he presents the Vermillion's youngest child his merit. "You use the same flame magic as your older brother, the Captain of the Crimson Lion Kings. Your power is overwhelming. Make sure you don't go overboard."

"Evil needs no mercy." Leopold state and walk back to where his brother and his junior stood.

Kana's palm starts sweating as the nerve finally hit her.

As if sensing her change, Fuegoleon pats her shoulder and gives her a reassuring smile. "Go on." He motion for her to step up.

Taking a deep breath, she walks upfront with her eyes glued on the Magic King, who offers her a smile.

She stops right on the other side of the table, but she can feel her legs shaking slightly but put up a brave expression.

"With four stars earned, Kana of the Crimson Lion Kings. I grant you Junior Magic Knight, Fourth Class." He passes her the merit which she took it. "You have grown so much in a short time. But remember, you are not alone. You still have your squadmates by your sides and never forget that."

Although his intentions were for good, his words weren't really up for her, but she nods in respect to him. "Thank you." Without any more comments to offer, she walks away.

The ceremony goes on with other members from different squad being called and earned their merits.

A member from Blue Rose, She's a tall woman with green eyes and beautiful brown skin. She sports short, ruffled black hair that fit her style perfectly.

Two members from the Silver Eagles.

Glancing over where their captain, Kana, nods, remembering the man. 'So they are in the same squad as that weird-haired guy.' Blinking few times. 'Silva? Where have I heard that name before?'

Last of them were three men from the Golden Dawn. Members of the same squad as Yuno.

'I wonder where Captain William is?' She thought as she watches the third members of Golden Dawn walk back to his previous place.

"The Golden Dawn has earned a total of 71 stars. They are the clear leaders." Julius announced. "I hope the rest of the squads do their best not to fall behind. Well done, all of you. Now then, there's a simpler reception set up for you, so enjoy yourselves. Oh, I almost forgot. I've invited some special guests today." He makes everyone glance over at the back where Yuno, Asta, Noelle, Klaus, and Mimosa are silently watching.

"Make sure you get to know each other very well." He ends his speech with a laugh.

"You know them?" Leopold whispers over the red-haired girl.

"Two of them come from the same church where I grew up." She explains.

"Something came up, so I have to excuse myself, but have fun!" The Magic King bid his farewell, leaving the five of them in the presence of the others.

Filling her plate with various kinds of dishes, Kana didn't realize that someone was approaching her until that person finally come into her sight.

"I see that you finally calm a bit now." Charlotte Roselei, the Captain of Blue Rose and quite a gorgeous noblewoman from the girl's perspective.

"It's nice to meet you again, Charlotte-san." She states, smiling over the older woman.

"Congratulations on your raise. Pity that you weren't one of us. Blue Rose would be an honor to have someone like you."

"I'm a mere commoner. No squad will be happy to have me." Kana bluntly state, but she wasn't taking Charlotte's words in the wrong ways. Still, from her short times in her squad, Leopold, her captain, and few other squadmates may be able to brush away her status, but there are more of them who wasn't happy to have a peasant in the same squad as they are and they didn't even try to hide their disgust at her. "But thank you, your offer was great, but I wish to have someone with the same spell as I am to teach me how to control them."

"I see." Nodding her head, she understood the girl's intentions. "Well, I wish you luck, and if you need some help in training, you are more welcome to our base. My squad has some potentials members." With that, she walks away.

Kana watches her walk back over the dark skin woman, who also a member of Blue Rose. As if sensing eyes on her, she looks over the young girl and keeps her stares.

Instead of having a stare competition, Kana walks away and go over where Asta and Yuno gathering.

"The heck is this?!" She heard Asta exclaim as he shoves another spoonful of fried rice into his mouth. "I've never eaten anything like this! So good!"

"How can you be so bold? You're amazing, Asta." Klaus state as he been feeling the pressure for even standing in the room.

"No, he's just unrefined." Yuno bluntly states.

"Aren't you guys eating too?" Kana asks as she finally stops beside Yuno.

"I- I can't even breathe right now." The older boy confesses feeling a bit nauseous.

Yuno's expression brightens as his eyes fall on her. "Congratulation."

"Thank you." She thanks him. "You should eat too, you know? Remember? Sister Lily said that you need to eat to get stronger. Sounds a bit ridiculous, but you and Asta did turn out great."

'So are you.' The boy thought. Then his eyes fall on her plate, and he opens his mouth.

"Hm? Wh-" She wasn't able to finish her sentences as she watches him look back and forth between the plate and her making her sigh. "You never change, aren't you?" Instead of scolding him, she took a piece of bite-size steak with her fork and offered it to him.

Yuno quickly took a bite, and his expression turns smug.

"Now I remember how much I hate that expression of yours," Asta states in disgust as he watches his childhood friend's munch proudly as if he suddenly declared the new Magic King.

'Who the hell is he?!' The Golden Dawn's members are internally screaming.

"Vulgar peasant. Why did the Wizard King invite such lowborn scum?"

Those words cause Kana to stop mid-bite, and her grip on the fork tightens, making them bend a bit.

"I can't sense any magic from him." A woman from the Silver Eagles smugly points out. "Them capturing the dungeon must've been sheer luck."

"The way he eats is disgusting. Ho ho ho ho."

Kana's expression darkens as her eyes are shadowed by her hair, making Yuno gulp down his drink nervously.

"It's unnatural for him to be here. Filthy rat."

Crack

The edge of Kana's plate cracks a bit, making Yuno softly to it away from her hands along with the fork. Afraid that she might poke someone's eyes with it.

"Man, listening to them tear into me. Good thing I'm used to it." Asta state nonchalantly, unbothered by their words.

'She's didn't.' Yuno thought, watching as Kana's expression getting worse every second.

"You also have a peasant in your squad," Leopold speaks out loud. "The peasant who's forgotten his place since everyone fawns over him, because of the four-leaf grimoire he has."

Fuegoleon sweats as he glances over the red-haired girl then over his little brother. 'She's reaching her limits.'

"Huh! Like you're one to talk." Alecdora shoots back. "Your squad also has a peasant. A much worse one among those low-breed too. Declaring that she will destroy us! How—"

"Low breed?"

Clamping his mouth shut, everyone glance over the red-haired girl whose expression was so chilling that some of them took a step back.

"Filthy rat? Lowborn scum?" Her eyes narrow coldly at him. "Says that again. I dare you."

'There it is!' Asta, Yuno, and Leopold thought knowingly.

'I'm surprised she hasn't attacked anyone yet.' Fuegoleon, though, calmly took a sip of his drink.

"Who the hell you think you are to defy our status?" She took a step at him. "You thinks you nobles are so great, and yet someone else has to feed you, clothes you, bathed you, tuck you in?" A bitter chuckle escapes her mouth. "Peasant this, peasant that, who the fuck you think you guys are? Since that's all the words you know, let me tell you trashes then, you are nothing but a filthy group of good-for-nothing swine!"
