Some poems love to point
Out accentual meter with alliteration
So to comprehend by cadence.
While complicated to create,
And arduous to alliterate,
'Tis painless to perceive.

Simply pursue the prose,
Allow it to you advance,
'Till the connections are clear.
Keep in your heart its conte
And always the good of it adduce,
The lessons prayerfully from it prying.

(This was my first foray into Accentual Meter/Verse. It took me awhile to understand how it works--and I still don't fully understand how you can have a beat without the same amount or a certain pattern of syllables.
