"So are you feeling any better?" Ink said finally seeing dream out of his room for once. Dream smile for the first time since his brother's death. "Yeah. The past still bothers me a bit but I'm OK now." Ink smile it's very nice to see his friend not going through depression. "Also I'm sorry that I attack you guys for no reason..." Dream look down. "It's OK we understand." Blue said. Dream grabs staff went out. "I'm going back to my Au." He said.
"Why?" Ink asked. "Well there's a rule about guardians. If one of us dies then the other will takes his place while staying in his role. And I think I'm ready to become the new guardian of negativity." Dream answered. "Are you sure you're ready enough?" Swap said. Dream nodded. "I'm sure." He teleport to his old Au and he got to the tree again he once bright yellow clothing turn to patches of green. And he has both the sun and moon on his crown. His bow became a long bow with stars for arrows. The tree regrow itself by his presence alone. He then heard a child crying. He looked around and found a dying baby boy in the bushes of thorns.
"Shh... it's OK little one, don't be afraid. I'm here." Dream said. Picking the babe up. He remembers the fragments of his brother's soul and gave them to the baby.

"Daddy can you tell me a story of you and uncle nightmare?" Moonstar asked. "Sure." Dream said. As he finish the story Moon star climbed to his father's lap. "I wonder what would he say if he meets me.." Dream stroke his son's back. "He would say he's happy he's now an uncle." Dream said Moonstar looked up. " I love you daddy."
Dream smiled. "I love you too Moon star." As Moonstar went to sleep dreams saw a light purple glow that shaped and resembles Nightmare. He looked at moonstar then at Dream. "I'm so proud of you little brother. You're all grown up." Nightmare said. Dream looked down in amusement. "I guess I did." Nightmare floats towards his new family. " I love you dream."
"I love you too and I miss you. And now I know I need to let go." Nightmare smiled. "Thank you."
