Few days later Kaveh was with King Deshret doing some training and talking to Better understand the powers Kaveh has inherited.

Kaveh : I still can't fully understand this"

King Deshret : it's understandable"

Kaveh : I Don't see how I'll be helping I Don't know how to control this"

King Deshret : and when you did it was like you had no control and left vulnerable to be attacked."

kaveh : I Don't know if I can help that's a lot of pressure to have people counting on me too to stop whatever is going on...."

King Deshret : I believe you can just Don't go being unnecessarily self sacrificing."

Kaveh : yeah I Don't plan on dying anytime soon"

King Deshret : and I Don't plan on letting that happen.

kaveh : so you said this power is connected to my emotions correct?"

King Deshret : yes"

kaveh : if that's true I'm surprised I haven't just lost it. "

King Deshret : I understand.... losing someone you love especially not being able to tell them that"

kaveh : I..I umm I n-

King Deshret : it's what you meant Right? you loved him?"

Kaveh : ....god he was annoying.....but he was always there no matter what happened he was there even when I didnt want him"

King Deshret : again I'm sorry"

Kaveh : you didnt lie to me did you? you can bring him back right?"

King Deshret : of course I can"

Kaveh : if you end up lying to me. I .... Don't know what I'll do....."

King Deshret then looked down and saw the ground under Kaveh's feet turning black dying.

King Deshret : you shouldn't think so negative I swear on my life I did not lie. you have my word"

kaveh: I know I do it's just.... waiting like this isn't easy "

King Deshret then saw the ground turning green again coming back to life as kaveh calmed down.

King Deshret : is there something you like to do today? to take your mind off things for a bit?"

Kaveh : world could be ending and the man i love is currently dead at the moment"

King Deshret : ........"

suddenly Cyno and Tignari came over and said looking sad but serious.

Cyno : there's been an attack in Sumeru city.........it was taken care of but....you need to come ....."

Tignari : we'll explain when we get there"

Kaveh was concerned what they meant but nodded and followed them to sumeru city with King Deshret who had a bad feeling.

later in sumeru city they saw the damage and people hurt and walked over to Nahida who was in front of a woman on the ground.

Nahida. : I'm sorry.....I tried everything I could......"

she then walked out of the way and Kaveh immediately ran over falling to his knees seeing the woman was his mother who was injured.

Faranak : k .... kaveh.....my son...."

Kaveh : mom....what ... what happened?"

Faranak : I....I wanted to see you.....we haven't talked in so long.....

Nahida : she got injured during the attack....."

Kaveh : y.....you'll be okay you have to be....."

Faranak then reach up and started wiping Kaveh's tears as he started to cry"

Faranak : Don't cry....I want to see you smile.... one more time....."

Kaveh. : please.... please Don't leave me please....."

Faranak. : you'll be okay....I'm sorry.... just know.....I love you.....so much...."

Kaveh : n-

she finally passed and Kaveh  started crying more hugging his mother he was so sad and felt so much pain....but also anger.....and he was scared.

he soon then stood up and ran off and King Deshret said To Nahida.

King Deshret : get everything away as far away as possible"

he then ran after Kaveh to try and stop what he knew would happen.

seconds later outside the city Kaveh fell to his knees gripping the ground feeling so many emotions at once and the power in him growing making him feel like he was going to burst. and the ground and trees around him started turning black and dying.

King Deshret then got there.

King Deshret : Kaveh....I know your angry.....and I know your hurting but you need to calm down..... getting upset will only make the power act unpredictable"

Kaveh : I can't! .....I can't this isn't fair!....why is any of this happening!?.....first they kill Al haitham and now my mother!.... I'm losing everything..... I've lost everything....."

King Deshret : everything will be okay you j-

Kaveh : YOU DON'T KNOW THAT!!!"

Trees then started falling down as they died even nearby animals who couldn't get away.

he could see the power getting unstable and didnt know what to do without hurting Kaveh and that was the last thing he wanted to do..

then just about as the power inside Kaveh was about to burst King Deshret quickly ran over and hugged Kaveh using himself to try and block and absorb it which in return was  hurting him and slicing up his skin but he wouldn't let go.

King Deshret : everything will be okay..... I'll make sure..... please just trust me.....I will guard you until my dying breath...."

kaveh : I.....I can't do this......"

King Deshret : you can.....you can do it for him.... and for your mother......
