CHAPTER 29

Even though this year there weren't supposed to be any Quidditch games, the houses decided to do them with the permission of the headmaster, who was on thin ice and decided to agree, hoping that the students will calm down if he would let them play this year.

And today was the first game, and like every year, it was Gryffindor vs. Slytherin.

The players almost and didn't change. Now, Ron Weasely was on the team instead Harry Potter, who is still missing. His little sister, Ginny, was supposed to be the Seeker. But after a fight with their mother and a howler complaining that Ron needs to prove himself to be better than the Potter brat (part of it was in front the school in the Great Hall) and that Quidditch is not a game for little girls like her, Ginny gave up from humiliation and decided to focus more on her beauty for when Potter is found (and till then she will have some boyfriends).

The Drumstang's team agreed to play against the winning team at the end of the year, which increased the tension.

The Slytherins tried to convince Hadrian to be the Seeker instead of Draco and Draco will be a Chaser, which Draco didn't have a problem with at all. Unfortunately, he still didn't feel good in the mornings, and he wasn't on a broom since the game last year when he fell because the dementors, so they decided to let him be.

They were at breakfast at the moment, Hadrian half asleep on Draco who was surrounded by his teammates, who were surrounded by the whole Slytherin house.

The Gryffindors who were sitting on the other side of the hall were glaring at the Slytherins and loud as usual.

Hadrian, who didn't care about anything at the moment except getting more comfortable on his mate's shoulder was annoyed when a howler, this time a cheering one, was sent by Molly Weasley to cheer her son and wish him good luck, a howler that went on and on for more than an hour. Who the hell invented the cheering howler? Hadrian thought. He didn't see a reason for a cheering howler to existed.

The teams went to the field, while the rest of the school went back to their rooms for warmer attire. Hadrian went with the rest of the house after Draco threaten him if he wouldn't wear warm clothes before going out. He went down to the field with them too and sat down on the Slytherin side, with Drumstang and Beauxbatons who decided to cheer for Slytherin too.

And he waited to the game to begin.

-&-&-&-

When he sees the game from the side, he tries to think why he loved to play it so much, because from the stands, its look painful and quite boring flying around a file without any purpose except catching a ball.

Nothing excited really happened. One of the Gryffindor's player went down after ten minutes, thanks to beaters, and his reverse went up instead while Slytherin moments later got 10 points. He was mostly annoyed that Fred and George tried to take Draco down from the beginning, which prevented him from searching for the Snitch.

The game went like that for another hour before they went to a break. Two more Gryffindors went down and been replaced as well as the keeper of Slytherin. Now, it's looked like the Slytherin's beaters was told to go for Fred and George.

While watching the game his mind drifted to the new article by Rita Skeeter, concerning this time the first task of the Triwizard Tournament. Her article talked for 8 pages about the first task, how the champions needed to fight female dragons who were nesting and how each one of them got the golden egg to eventually suffer from a headache because the horrible sound the egg produce. Each one from the original champions got one page about how he retrieve the egg, instead of him, who got four pages talking about the fact he was in a heat(with permission from the Malfoys), how he jumped through the fire and got out without getting hurt(later he explained to Draco that he is fireproofed thanks to his mom's genes) and the fact that he talk in Parseltongue with the dragon. The latter was the longest from them all. Rita Skeeter reminded all Britain that the last Parseltongue was the Dark Lord and ended the article with the question if this is the gift that got him into EXYPNO.

She tried, obviously, to talk to the Malfoys and to him about that, but they are yet to answer.

Lee Jordan, like any game beforehand, was calling the game, which made Hadrian more annoyed after he got awaken from his though, and made him think for curses he could use on him before the next game. While he got to his 28 curse, there was a roar from the Gryffindor side, while from the Slytherin side came screaming.

Hadrian immediately shot his head up and looked the game. Up in the sky, it's looked like someone was falling... Without his broom. The person was falling fast, and when he was closer to the teachers' and guests' stands he saw it was his mate.

He began to scream, his friends were holding him back from trying to run to his mate, while Fred and George were diving down, trying to catch Draco who looked to unconscious, but it seems like they wouldn't make it in time. A moment before Draco met the ground he was stopped, before falling the last 10 centimeters to the ground.

Hadrian, finally free from the hands of his friends, thanks to the shock the were in, went to the closet set of stairs in the stands and rushed for his mate, his friends following him. Upon getting to the ground, he saw the Slytherin team surrounding Draco who at the moment had his head in George's lap, while Fred tried to stop the bleeding with a piece of cloth he tore from his uniform and chanting a spell to close the wound on the head.

Hadrian pushed Slytherin's team so he could get to his mate and sat beside him, holding with one hand Draco's face while in the other his own mouth, trying to quiet the sobs which trying to emerge from his mouth.

Quickly after him, Madam Hooch and Madam Pomfrey came rushing to them, clearing all the students so they could get to Draco. When they got to Hadrian and Draco, Madam Hooch conjured a stretcher to put Draco on while Madam Pomfrey began to gently levitate Draco to the stretcher and rushed him to the hospital wing.

"Well", Madam Hooch began to say, "Since the Slytherin's team does not have a reverse Seeker, the winner of this match will be pronounced... "

Before Madam Hooch could finish her sentence, Marcus Flint interrupted her "But Madam Hooch, we do have a reverse Seeker."

"And who this might be, Mr Flint? I didn't see you training any new Seeker this year." Madam Hooch said, confusion is in her voice and doubt in her eyes.

"Hadrian Riddle volunteered to be the reverse Seeker for Slytherin since we didn't have anyone qualified this year and weren't prepared to play because the announcement of the headmaster at the beginning of the year."

-&-&-&-

"So you want me to be the reserve Seeker this year, because..." Hadrian asked, confused by the suggestion.

"Because you are considered the best youngest Seeker of this era!" Marcus said to the little child.

"Alright," Hadrian said, "I will be the reserved Seeker for you, but only on one condition."

"Yes?" Marcus asked, his left eyebrow lifted up.

"I get to have revenge on the one who made my dragon to fall." Hadrian said in a sweet voice, stepping out of the room he and Marcus fled to to have the conversation.

-&-&-&-

Now in the Slytherin's changing room, Hadrian changed to the reverse Seeker outfit, resized for him, while Marcus filled him out on the strategy.

"Who was it?"

Marcus asked him what he talked about.

"Who made my dragon fall?" Hadrian asked him, promise for pain in his voice.

"Weasley."

Hadrian froze in place, "which Weasley?"

"The youngest."

The game continued from where it stopped, only Hadrian on the ground while the player took their places where the game stopped.

Madam Hooch gave the mark, and the game continued. Hadrian, still on the ground, began to run, his right hand stretched to his side. The crowd and the players looking at him. Then, out of nowhere, they began to hear a wisp, like someone cutting the air. Coming closer, Hadrian's Fire Bolt came to the field. When the Fire Bolt came to touching his hand, Hadrian took control of the broom, lifted himself up and took to the air, flying vertical to the ground, close to the teacher's stands, and broke to the high skies when got higher than the stands.

The crowd roared, and the game quickly continued. Lee Jordan got crazy on seeing the Fire Bolt, and kept babbling about it for some time, the crowd and Mcgonagall don't even care.

Since Ron Weasley was the Seeker, Hadrian had an easy  access of a payback. For the rest of the game Hadrian decide to play with Ronald, by making him go nuts. Now, while Ron had decent eyes, does not mean that he can see the snitch as easily as Hadrian. So, while Hadrian waited for his team to get enough points to win the House Cup and the Quidditch Cup, he decided at random times to just do round around the field, or just drop down to the ground.

And it worked each time. Ronald fell from his broom several times or continued to fly when Hadrian just stopped to watch him make an idiot out of himself. Eventually, when Hadrian saw that his team had enough points, he zoomed to the sky in the greatest speed he could muster, and like all the past trials, Ronald did the same.

When Hadrian thought that he was high enough, he let go of his broom, and started to dive next to it.

When he passed Ronald he made him lose balance by colliding gently with the tip of his broom, which was enough to make his broom go crazy.

Going further down, he saw a shining golden ball, and mounted his broom. Quickly lifting the tip up, Hadrian was breaking from his fall in sharp turn and began to go around the players in his trying to get to the Snitch. He passed players from both team, diving under them and jumping above them in fast speed, so fast that he looked like a blur to most.

Eventually, reaching the ground and standing on his broom, he caught the Snitch.

-&-&-&-

The game was planned to be two days before the ball, to give everyone the feeling of vacation and leave time to get ready for the ball itself, while the younger years got ready to leave the castle for the holidays, the upper years a day after them.

The whole castle was ecstatic for the ball. The Great Hall was close for decorations, and a buffet table was arranged in the common rooms for all the students to enjoy for the day. Girls were running from room to room to get ready for the dance. Screaming were heard, squealing too, and many, many unrecognizable conversations about hair, makeup and dresses among them.

Boys were panicking with there friends about the dance,  worry about their partners' reaction for the evening and trying to look presentable to not get a backlash.

Meanwhile, in the Slytherin common room happened all of that, without a doubt, but some changes needed to be made for the preparations. For example, Draco Malfoy was kicked out from his room by his mate.

Since Hadrian wanted to surprise his mate, he decided to use the law of "the groom cannot see the bride with the dress till the wedding" and kicked his mate out of their shared room, letting the male fourth year students take him in while he, with the help of his female friends, got ready in their shared room.

Right now it was evening, people were last minute preparing and last minute arrangement were being made. While looking around, they saw all the male Drumstang students wearing the same formal brown and black leather suit and the red and brown cape on their right shoulder, while the male Beauxbatons students all had a dark blue tight suit and a light blue cape on their left shoulder.

Draco, with his friends, was waiting to Hadrian while his friends were waiting to their dates for the evening around him, standing at the entrance of the Great Hall. Draco, nervous and anxious, was wearing a dark silver three-pieces suit, with a white button up shirt under it and a silver tie. on top of the suit, he wore a formal black robe with silver trimming at the ends.

First came Pansy, who wore a bright pink dress. The dress didn't have any sleeves, and shaped her clivage in a heart shape, was tight around her waist and had a huge volume from the waist down, making her look like an upside down pink cupcake. When she walked down the stairs, you could see bright pink heels showing.

After her came Daphne, who was wearing a simple light blue satin dress. She had light blue heels to match, similar to those Pansy was wearing, and silver jewelry was decorating her face, neck and arms.

The girls continue to come forward, each one wearing a different dress in a different colour, and in the end, Hadrian showed up.

Hadrian was one of the only guys in the ball who wasn't wearing a formal robe, and that because the girls has insisted that it would hide his outfit and shape. He wore a dark blue formal shirt under a formal dark blue jacket with silver trimming at the ends, almost matching Draco's robe. His formal trouser were simple black and he had simple formal black shoes. upon closer inspection, you could see that he had light blue makeup on his eyes and a silver ring lips piercing on the middle of his lower lip, with a small chain dangling from it and from the chain a small tear clear diamond, one of Draco's gifts to him.

He looked like a jewel.

When Hadrian finally stood next to Draco, their friends went into the Great Hall, as all the participants except the champions and their dates were acquired to wait inside the Hall.

Draco couldn't take his eyes from Hadrian, he didn't even noticed when Prof. McGonagall called him to get his attention. They stood in a line, the champions on one side and their dates next to them, Hadrian and Draco stood at the end of the line, since Hadrian was the youngest champion and technically wasn't supposed to participate.

They entered the hall. The Great Hall was decorated from left to right, there wasn't a spot which wasn't decorated. The walls became light blue and seems to be covered in ice. The ceiling wasn't hidden by a spell this time, and the stone bows were showing, decorated in silver, ice blue and snowflake shapes. The support rods were covered from the ceiling to the middle of them in big icicles, and were coloured in dark blue and small snowflakes. Instead of the teacher table, stood three huge Christmas trees, full of decorations and snow. From the ceiling fell shiny snowflakes that disappeared when reaching the ground.

The champions were taken to longest table, which there also sat the three headmasters and judges of the competition, but instead of Crouch, Percy Weasley sat in his place.

Menus showed and people started to order themselves food before the dance and the real party would start, except Hadrian, who now had a regular functioning meal plan till his next checkup by Dillan, the family healer, and had an already planned meal in front of him.

After the meal, which in it Draco and Hadrian conversed with each other and Hadrian checked with Percy how the plans in the Ministry were going, the champions were called for the opening dance. Only just then Draco and Hadrian noticed that Hermione Granger was the date of Victor Krum, who didn't look so happy from the result. They both realized that they didn't notice it was her because for once her hair wasn't frizzy, but smooth, and as a result her face was framed in a different way which her beauty. In addition, her body wasn't hidden by a school robe, but present by the light blue dress she was wearing.

They began the dance, the traditional movements burned in each of their minds after McGonagall harsh lessons, in their case, Draco was leading them, as the dominant between the two, and they continue to dance for hours without of stopping, both don't noticing the teachers and the other students joining  the dance floor.

All they could do was to focus on the other, and that is what they did for hours upon hours, till they were between the last students in the Hall, but the only one dancing, surrounded by their friend, whom they still didn't noticed.

Only focusing on each other.

"I love you"

"I love you too"

-&-&-&-

"Ah... Dragon... Fas- faster please" Hadrian moaned to his mate as he laid under him, the blankets covering him and Draco, as Draco went faster and faster to get a greater friction between their groins.

They both were naked, Hadrian only wearing the piercing. They were in their room, after hours of dancing and fun, they retired to the bed, to one last fun before the holiday at home.
