TWO WEEKS LATER

After a long wait, sports day finally arrived. By now, everybody had heard that I was going to set a world-record. They thought that I was out of my mind. Today, I will show them that I do what I say.

I was sitting on the bench waiting for the competition to start when Luke rushed towards me.

"Andrew, Coach Marks is calling you to his office." He said breathing heavily.

"What for?" I asked.

"I don't know but he said it was important." He said.

I sprinted towards Coach Marks' office. The door was open a crack. I went inside. Coach Marks was sitting on the chair.

"Hello." I said.

"Hi, Andrew." He said looking at me as if I were his arch-enemy.

"You want to talk to me about something important?" I asked.

"I want to talk to you for the last time about something most important to you." He said.

His words made me shudder. He seemed weird. I wanted to flee from him. I took a step back. That's when the door closed behind me.
