A road Just for me

All my life I have heard

The same record playing

Telling my little self

"The road is Perilous,

So watch, where you tread"

Without daring to croon

What dangers lie ahead,

Or what wonders may cross

This path laid before me...

I know radiant beacons

Floating in the night sky,

But I am afraid that

When I touch one of them

They would either transform

To wisps of darkened ash,

Or mislead me into

A labyrinth of scars,

I may fail to heal...

So which road is less hard?

Which road is filled with sparks,

And fragrant enchantment?

I oblige you to say,

And cause me utter relief...

I am on my knees,

Close to translucent tears,

SO please tell me!Please Tell me!

I beg of you... I beg of you!

If you do not dare

To share what is arcane,

I am determined to...

To Build myself a road!

Use all the hues and shards

Of the rainbow above,

And lay them down gently

As I walk on a road to be,

A road I choose who walks

And accompanies me

To the destination

That my eyes have marked

A long long time ago...

When I was a mere child,

Dreaming of castles unbuilt,

And dreams wrought

In chambers of secrets...

A road just for me,

And whoever chooses

To walk beside me...
