After Sokka spotted his father, we separated and went back to our cells.
Hopefully, an escape plan was in our future.

We at least have Sokka still posing as a guard so that's something... I just hope that Chit Sang guy doesn't rat him out.

Hours passed, no word from anyone. Just the iron of prison doors as my company. I continued to practice my fighting stances, at least I was productive.

Suddenly, a knock on my door.
"Finally Sokka's here to tell me what's happening!" I thought.

The door slammed open, the light from the hallway burst into my cell.

"Miss me (Y/N)?"

My heart stopped when I heard that voice, there stood the princess of the Fire Nation,
"Azula... but how... why are you here?"

A vague smile crossed her lips as she shut the door behind her,
"I see you haven't changed... good I was hoping my brother wouldn't get to you much."

"What do you want?" I spat crossing my arms.

"Do you remember the day I banished you with my brother?"

"Of course... how could I forget?"

"You pretended not to be scarred but there was such a fear in your eyes. You used to be so small-minded... trying to put on a brave face for Zuko. You barely even cared about your own fate... and it seems no one else did either..." she stated.

"What- what are you talking about?"

"Your mother nor your father was there to see you off... they didn't care about you in the slightest. Were you disappointed? Or did you know their true feelings toward you?"

"Why are you telling me this? I'm not here to play your mind games Azula!"

"Fine I'll get to the point... on that day you were sent off there was one person who cared... can you guess who?"

"I... I don't know who you're talking about."

"I'm talking about me (Y/N). Has ZuZu really made you that stupid?" She raised her eyebrow.

"You're lying... you were the one who sent me away... you never cared!" My voice shot back at her.

"I was so hurt you liked Zuko better than me... it blinded my judgment... there's not a day that goes by where I wish I didn't send you away. But there's still time... join Ty Lee, Mai, and I... forget about everything else. You can finally get your life back as a Firenation noble. Perhaps even reunite with your dear parents?"

"I... your lying... your just trying to trick me... I know how you work Azula... I'm not going anywhere with you." I stammered holding my ground.

"Suit yourself.. but I have a feeling you'll change your mind."

She turned around and left leaving me feeling utterly numb.

I had never seen Azula act so... vulnerable.

A bit later I hearc another knock, luckily this time it was just Sokka.

"Do we have a plan yet?" I asked.

"We do... my dad I amd came up with it.. be in the yard in one hour we're going to need a big distraction.."

"Have you told Zuko and Suki yet?"

"I'm on my way to Suki next... I told Zuko quickly because some of the guards wanted him for some reason."

"Is he okay?"

"I'm not sure..."

"Okay well thanks for telling me." I sighed.

I watched as my door opened and headed to the yard with the rest of the prisoners.

I quickly spotted Suki, Sokka,  and Hakoda.

"No Zuko..." I thought.

"This is it we have to start a riot!" Sokka exclaimed.

"Okay. But how do we do that?" Suki questioned.

Hakoda smirked, "I'll show you." He then shoved a nearby prisoner.

"Hey! What'd you do that for? That hurt my feelings." The prisoner replied.

"Aren't you mad at me?"

"Uh, well, normally I would be, but I've been learning to control my anger"

"This isn't working." Sokka snapped.

Suddenly, Chit Sang came up to Sokka,
"Hey you! You're lucky I didn't rat you out, but my generosity comes with a price. I know you're planning another escape attempt, and I want in."

"Actually, we're trying to escape right now, but we need a riot.  You wouldn't happen to know how to start one, would you?" Sokka grinned.

"A prison riot? Please..." Chit Sang grabbed another prisoner throwing him up on his shoulders, "Hey! Riot!"

The prison yard sprung into absolute chaos.

"Impressive..." Hakoda smirked.

"Forget about controlling my anger let's riot!" The prisoner from earlier shouted.

I turned my head to see Zuko approaching us,
"Zuko thank goodness your okay!"

"Zuko! Good, we're all here. Now all we need to do is grab the warden, and get to the gondolas!" Sokka added.

"And how do we do that?" Zuko asked.

"I'm not sure..."

"I thought you thought this through!" Zuko complained.

"I thought you told me it's okay not to think everything through!"

While Zuko and Sokka continued to bicker Suki and I took the initiative. We scaled up the prison watchtower to where the Warden was standing. I fend off the guards as Suki secured the warden.

"You wouldn't dare.." the warden threatened.

"Sorry warden your my prisoner now." Suki slammed him against the wall while I finished off the guards as the rest of the crew arrived, "We've got the warden now let's get out of here!!"

"Those are some girls..." Hakoda smirked.

"Tell me about it..." Sokka and Zuko said at the same time.

We ran towards the gondola,
"We're almost there!"

Guards neared us and began to blast fire. Zuko and I stood forward to deflect it,
"Back off we've got the warden!"

Once the guards saw the warden they stood down,
"Let's go!"

We rushed towards the gondola and Suki opened the door,
"Everyone in!"

Zuko started the gondola than kicked the handle a few times to break it. Zuko than jumped towards the gondola avoiding the guard's blast. I grabbed his hand and helped him in.

"What did you do?"

"I made it so they can't stop us.." Zuko answered.

"That idea deserves a kiss..." I blush quickly planting a kiss on Zuko's cheek rendering him into a blushing mess.

"We're on our way!" Suki cheered.

"Wait whose that?" Hakoda asked looking out of the gondola.

I looked down to see Azula and Ty Lee at the gondola station,
" That's a problem, the princess of the Firenation and her friend.."

"This is a rematch I've been waiting for!" Suki stated determined.

"Me too.." Zuko added.

Zuko, Suki, Sokka, and I climbed to the top of the gondola to meet Azula and Ty Lee.

Suki handled Ty Lee while the rest of us tried to fight Azula.

Zuko and I blasted Fire at her as Sokka tried to hit her with his sword. Azula tried to knock me off my balance but I deflected her fire. Suddenly I heard the warden shout from inside the gondola,
"Cut the line!"

He couldn't be serious right? I ignored it and put my head back in the fight. The burning stench of embers heavy in the air.

The gondola began to rapidly shake as the guards down below tried to stop the line. Sokka almost slipped off but Zuko grabbed him just in time.

Ty Lee shouted to Azula,
"There about to cut the line!"

They both turned their attention to the gondola on the next line over,
"Then it's time to leave."

"You've made a horrible mistake today (Y/N)... goodbye now" Azula grinned as she used her fire to jet blast away. Ty Lee followed her to the other gondola.

Zuko and I jumped back inside our gondola,
"They're cutting the line the gondola's about to go!"

"I hope this thing floats.." Hakoda stammered.

Suddenly I felt the gondola start to move again and looked out to see someone fighting the guards.

"Who is that?" Sokka asked.

"It's.. it's Mai!" Zuko said in shock.

"You go girl! You're doing great!" I shouted down at her as the gondola finally hit the station. We all rushed out leaving the warden behind.

"Sorry warden.. your record is officially broken." Hakoda sassed.

"Well we made it out.. now what?" Suki asked.

I suddenly noticed Zuko wasn't running with the rest of us,
"Zuko what are you doing?"

"My sister was on that island."

"Yeah and she's probably right behind us so let's not stop!" Sokka exclaimed.

"What I mean is she must of come here somehow... " Zuko ran up to the ledge and pointed to a huge Firenation airship, "there that's our way out of here!"

Finally after many hours of travel we arrived back at the air temple. Toph Aang and Katara looked in awe as we stepped out,
"What are you doing in this thing? What happened to the war balloon?"

"It kinda got destroyed.." Zuko answered.

"Sounds like a crazy fishing trip!" Aang gushed.

Oh right.. "fishing trip" I forgot that's what we told them.

"Did you at least get some good meat?" Toph asked.

"I did! The best meat if all... the meat of friendship and fatherhood." Sokka answered as Hakoda, Suki, and Chit Sang stepped out of the ship.

"I'm new what's up everybody?" Chit Sang waved.

"Dad!" Katara stammered rushing toward her father. They embraced in a hug, "Hi Katara."

"How are you here? What is going on? Where did you go?"

"We kinda went to a Firenation prison." Sokka admitted. I smiled at Zuko as all 3 watertribe members embraced in a hug.

"Seriously? You guys didn't find any meat?" Toph added.

Everyone stepped away until it was just Zuko and I.

"(Y/N).. can we talk."

"Of course what's up?" I replied crossing my arms.

"I just wanted to thank you.. for coming... you didn't have to but you were a really big help."

"No prob Bob what kind of girlfriend would I be if I didn't go?" I smirked, "I'm not letting you throw yourself into a bad situation without me!"

"One more thing... when you left with Fai.. Mai and I kinda dated briefly... I was just so upset when you left.. I wanted to try to fill the void you left. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. But Mai and I didn't really work out anyway.. we both agreed to stay just as friends. I missed you too much. Again I'm really sorry.. I was afraid you would get upset."

"Yeah I kinda guessed so... but I did leave you with another guy so... I guess we're even then." I smiled staring into his golden eyes. His pale skin was illuminated in the moonlight.

"What did I ever do to deserve you?" Zuko questioned putting his hand on my cheek.

"Just promise me you'll always be at my side
.."

"I promise." He said before he brushed his lips against mine.
