Valentine's Day.

"Happy Valentine's Day, future wife!"

"Happy Valentine's Day, future husband!" They smile and share a kiss.

"I only go in for a few hours today,

The boys were at school, Jessica was off from work, and Danny worked a short day.

"Alright Grayson, we are gonna get you dressed and looking handsome like your daddy!"

"Daddyyyy!" He smiles and points to the picture of Sam in his bedroom.

"That's right! You look just like him, don't you?"

"Yeah! I cute!"

"Yes you are, baby!" Jessica baby talks and kisses him.

"Where we going, mama?"

"Daddy Danny is gonna come pick us up!"

"Yay! Dada!"

"Yeah, dada! And guess where we're going?!"

"To da poooool!"

"It's February!!" Jessica says in the same tone of voice as Grayson.

"To play gaaaamessss!"

"Nooooo!"

"Then where we goingggg?"

"To eat!"

"Hey dat not fun!" Grayson makes a face.

"Heh! Well maybe if you're a good boy, mama and dada will take you to play some games."

"Yay! I going!"

"Only if you're good!"

"I going!" He lifts his little fists in the air making Jessica laugh.

When Danny got off of work, he came to pick them up and take them out for lunch.

"Grayson, don't play with your food, please."

"I just playing!"

"No you're making a mess! Remember what I said."

"I no know, mama!" He lifts his little hands.

"That if you're a good boy we can play games!"

"GAAAAMES!!"

Jessica laughs and Danny asks, "Where are we going?"

"No where special, I just need to run to Walmart for something and they have a few little rides there.  If he's a good boy while mommy's shopping, I usually take him to play a little bit before we leave."

"Oh really?  Well that's fun!  Isn't it, Gray." Danny smiles.

"Out! Out!" He quickly becomes fussy and demands Danny to take him out of the high chair.

"Eat your food, Grayson." Jessica says.

"Dada!  Dada!" He cries.

"Awe he wants me!" Danny smiles and takes him out.

He cuddles into Danny's chest and eats his little chicken nugget he had in his hand.

"You two are so cute!" Jessica giggles and takes their picture.

"Dada, dat my mama!"

"I know, bud!" He chuckles and pats his thigh.

"You have a gorgeous mama."

Grayson nods his head and smiles at Jessica.

"Mama! Mama! Mama!"

"What baby?"

"I lub yew!"

"Awe, I love you too!"

"I play games?"

"Grayson! *Laughs* Is that all you can think of right now?!"

After they were finished, they head to the store.

Jessica picks Grayson up to put him in the shopping cart and he starts kicking and screaming.

"NOOOO!"

"Grayson, stop it!"

"Nooo.." He whines.

She sits him down and he arches his back and sobs.
His face turned red and he started heavy breathing.

"Why are you getting so upset? Just sit down!"

"I walk! Mama PLEEEEEASEEEE!!"

"Oh goodness, Grayson!" She says pushing the basket.

"Just let him walk, Jess."

"He'll calm down."

"But in the meantime everyone is staring!"

Jessica rolls her eyes and says, "Grayson has done this to me since he was a little baby!"

"Really?" Danny chuckles.

"Yes! He hates grocery shopping, or at least hates the carts. When he was three months old, I brought him shopping with me, is was also our first time out just the two of us, but he screamed and cried the whole time!! I even left! I brought him out to the car and he was just sitting in his car seat smiling like he didn't just throw a fit five minutes before!"

Danny laughs and Jessica continues.

"And he pooped! EVERYWHERE!"

He laughs harder and Jessica chuckles.

"It wasn't funny! I didn't even have a change of clothes for him, I felt like a horrible mother!"

"What did you put him in?! Three months old, it was February! That poor baby was probably cold!"

"No, he had his little hat on and I wrapped him up in my cardigan. My ass was freezing!"

"Awe!" He laughs.

"Yeah! So Grayson has always hated the store, huh, Booger?"

"I not booger!" He lowers his brows and puckers his lips.

"I'm sorry!"

"Mama, I please get out?"

"Will you hold Danny's hand?"

"Yes."

"Will you run?"

"No."

"Will you run off?"

"No!"

"You promise?"

"Yes!" He says with his cute baby lisps.

"Okay, but if you're a bad boy, No games!" She points her finger.

Grayson nods and smiles.

Fifteen minutes later.

"I wanna go to da toys!!"

"We're shopping, Grayson!"

"Daddy, take me to da toys!"

"In a little while, bud."

"NOOOOOW!" He throws himself on the ground and throws a tantrum.

Jessica gasps and says, "Grayson George Shepard! You get up right now!"

"Ahhh!"

"No sir!" Jessica yanks him up by his arm and stands him up.

"Do you want a spanking?"

"No!"

"Then stop it! You have lost your games for today!"

"NOOO!"

"Grayson, stop it!" Danny picks him up.

"Finish doing what you were doing, I've got him."

"Don't take him to the toys!" She points her finger to Danny.

"I'm not."

Grayson hears that and gets even more upset.

"No! Down!"

"No."

"PUT ME DOWN!"

"Don't run off from me!"

"I not!"

Danny puts him down and Grayson takes off running.

He flys by Jessica and she chases after him.

"Grayson! This behavior is unacceptable!"

"Get off!!"

Jessica pats his butt. Not hard, but enough to get her point across.

Grayson freezes, then turns to her and stays silent for a few seconds.

"You HIT MEEEEEE!"

Jessica widens her eyes and looks around.

Danny walks over and picks him up.

"Let's just go."

"Jesus, Grayson! You do this every time the eggos are on sell!"

Danny chuckles and they leave the store.

Grayson quickly falls asleep when they get in the car.

Jessica sighs and looks at Danny.

"I'm sorry this isn't a very romantic Valentine's Day. I did want it to be special, especially since our first."

"It is special, baby!" Danny reaches over and rubs her thigh.

"Yeah but it's not romantic!" She cries.

"Jess, why are you crying?"

"Because we can't even have sex!"

"Why not?"

"Because I started my period, and ruined everything!"

"Baby, don't say that. I don't need sex.. I just need you."

She looks up and Danny smiles lovingly into her eyes.

"We can have sex when you're comfortable, don't worry about me. As long as I'm with you, and I can cuddle my Jessikins, then I'm happy." He says stopping at a light.

"Awe.. That's really sweet!"

"I know." He smiles and Jessica laughs.

"Jessie."

"What baby?"

"I love you."

"I love you too, Daniel!"  Jessica leans over and wraps her arms around him.

"Happy Valentine's Day, my gorgeous wife to be."

"Happy Valentine's Day, my handsome husband to be." She smiles and they share a deep kiss.

"We play games?" They hear a tiny voice from the back.

"Grayson!  I thought you were asleep." Jessica says as they both laugh.

"I up now, mommy!" He says full of energy.

"Up and recharged for more!"

"Oh lord!" Jessica sighs.
