DREAM
Had a weird dream that I was joining my high school's AV class. There was a lot to learn and we had difficult assignments. Then I went to go exercise on some sort of machine (I know what it is, but not what it's called LOL. It's kinda like a stationary bike but with shelves for your feet.) I did 9,000 strides in three minutes somehow. It was funny!
I know what caused this dream. First of all, part of the drama with that ex-friend had to do with AV. I won't get into the details, but basically she lied about a meeting for a project video, didn't show up to it, and is now saying the opposite happened - that I ditched and embarrassed her. Nope, doesn't fool me. She's gonna have to step up her game (or just, you know, quit.)
Sorry, I'm a bit salty about this. But whatever, I'd rather joke about it then let it drag me down.
Anyway, the other part of the dream was because BF has one of those exercise machines and has been using it a lot lately LOL.
SILLY
Was in a very silly mood this morning. Watched some YouTube, then wrapped presents for BF. The wrapping paper ran out, so I scurried around the house playing with the tube and listening to bardcore. Then I found my old elementary school report cards and laughed at them. Admittedly though, I have been trying to figure out why I am the way I am. How did my childhood influence me? When did my personality start to form? Anyway, that's not super relevant to anyone else LOL.
BF
After that, I got ready and went on a date with BF. Today was our fourth anniversary (except for a few months' break, which is too complicated to factor in and doesn't matter much anyway because we were still close.) We decided to go to a nice restaurant near downtown. The drive, however, wasn't the best. We decided not to go down the highway, but instead we got narrow, complicated streets and tailgaters. Parking was difficult too. I almost had a panic attack, but BF managed to calm me down. Once we were inside, it was better. It was hard to hear anyone speak, since the music was messing with my sensory processing, but that's just a me thing. It sounded great though - all 70s/80s music with good vibes! The decor was really cool. There were a bunch of portraits on a plaid wall, which I loved! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. BF and I both got grilled cheese and root beer. It was amazing!
After that, we went to a community garden. There aren't many by our neighborhoods, so it was cool to go out and see one! We had some trouble parking again, but once we were in, it was great! We walked around for an hour or so, just looking at the plants and chatting with people. The conversations were kind of funny because we all wanted to talk, but were a bit socially awkward LOL. Introvert problems. Still, everyone was super sweet and willing to show how they managed their plots. It was pretty cool! There were two people in particular, a man and a woman (I think they might've been father and daughter, but idk) who were super friendly. We talked with them for a while. BF and the man had some video game stuff in common, and the woman's best friend has the same name as me! That was fun! Idk when BF and I will go back to the garden, but either way, I'd love to hang out with them again.
Despite all this, we did manage to make an enemy. There was a squirrel hanging around the edge of the garden. It was recognizable by its thin red tail. The first time we saw it, we all just stared at each other for a while, not knowing what to do. The second time, it sauntered across a fence, climbed up a tree, and chattered at us. BF chattered back, and it responded, but then it didn't stop until we were gone. The third time, we were walking under a different tree when a twig with dead blossoms landed at our feet. We looked up and saw the squirrel watching us. It did not seem happy LOL.
Once we were done looking around the garden, we went back to the car. BF opened his presents. He really liked them! Said he'd use them a lot. I think I wrote this a few days ago, but I had gotten him a yoga mat, resistance tube, and over-the-door hooks for his room. He'd given me a ceramic cross a few days ago. That was sweet!
The drive home was difficult again. We decided to take the highway this time, but we still had tailgaters (this time at 80 mph/about 130 kmph.) Big yikes. Glad we made it back safely!
HOME
Once I got home, I chilled out and made a bardcore playlist, then realized I was still in my date outfit and changed. I took off my makeup, put on some pajamas, and just relaxed by eating snacks and watching Kim's Convenience. Good times.
YOU
How are you today?
