DREAM
Had a dream.  Don't remember all of it, but I do remember the end.  I was at a large store with my mom, sisters, and some family friends.  I was really irritated for some reason.  We wanted to get hair dye, but first we had to get a styrofoam bowl, fill it with water and yarn, and sort out the yarn pieces.  When I finally got done, I decided I would dye my hair blue, fading into purple and pink at the tips (so like an ombre.)  I got the pink and purple dye, but the blue was on a high shelf, so I asked Luka from Miraculous to reach it.  He got it and was able to calm me down somehow.  The dream ended as we were all going home to dye our hair.

Do I want to dye my hair?  Idk.  I'm really happy with my hair right now.  I have some highlights and a balayage, so I have both natural brown and lightened blonde.  Along with that, I've discovered that my hair is naturally wavy, so it's been fun learning how to manage it.  I wouldn't mind getting a bright color, but it has to be temporary and not cover my whole head.  Maybe just over the blonde?  That might be fun.

HAWKY

Hawky has spent most of the day in my room.  She's been good except for one thing - she kept slamming her water door to go in and get a drink when the main door was open right next to it.  Dummy!  LOL.

WEBKINZ

Played Webkinz for a couple minutes today.

CLEANING

Then I cleaned my room.  I did a bit of rearranging, including turning my mattress around (it had a huge dip where I sleep,) then washed all my bedding.  I let my comforter dry outside and it smells really good!

DRAWING

Worked on my drawing for about an hour.  Hoping to finish it this weekend!

BOOK

Haven't read a book in a while, so I decided to do that.  J loaned me her copy of The Hate U Give.  Read about a fifth of it this afternoon.  It's pretty good so far.  I like that it presents a real issue, one I'm unfamiliar with personally, and shows a lot of different sides to it.  It's interesting to see how each character reacts and how the events unfold.  My biggest difficulty in reading it is keeping track of each character, since there are quite a few.  Overall though, I'm enjoying the story and learning more about how other people experience the world.  I may not ever be able to fully understand the issue of police brutality, but reading this book is helping me open my eyes.  Highly recommend it so far!

DOG

Cried for a while earlier because I still wasn't sure how to interact with Gatlin.  He's gotten more energetic lately, and with that comes some unpredictability.  I like dogs, but sometimes they're too much for me to handle.  I've come to the conclusion that maybe I shouldn't get one in the future.  Smaller pets are much easier for me to understand.  Still, I love Gatlin, and with some encouragement from a relative, I'm ready to keep trying to bond with him.  Since I'm not super energetic, I've decided that the best way to do that is by spending quiet time together.  He also loves fabric and checking out new projects, so I'm going to keep sharing that with him.  I was able to refill his water dish and feed him dinner, which was good, and since the royal blue bandana is "his color," I embroidered his name on it too.  He seemed to enjoy it!  I helped him put it on, then ran in the backyard with him and G for a few minutes.  It was good.

HEALTH

Had a health thing come up.  Going to try to take it easy the next few days.
