My POV

"Finally away from those hurtful people, now off to..." I quietly said before remembering that I have no where to go.

I looked at my purple gem on my right hand.

"I guess I better get moving." I told myself quietly.

10 minutes later

"Where even am I right now?" I asked myself.

I sighed.

"Who am I kidding, I'm completely lost." I spoke sadly.

Suddenly I heard a growl behind me.

I quickly summoned my double ended scythe and turned around.

Once I turned around, a weird looking creature was staring at me, looking ready to attack.

"S-stay b-back." I told the creature, I was shaking like mad.

As I said that the creature attacked, I swung my scythe towards it, it dodged and knocked it out of my hand.

'Oh no..." I thought backing up.

The creature looked like it was about to pounce.

I was cornered.

"This is the end." I said softly crying.

I closed my eyes waiting for the final attack to hit, but it never did, I heard a poof sound, and then a soft voice.

"Are you alright?" The voice kindly and softly asked.

I opened my eyes and a woman with a white dress on and a gem where her belly button should be was kneeling infront of me.

I crawled back a little more, my gem glows and I summon my scythe and hold it defensively infront of me.

"W-who are y-you?" I asked, feeling very scared.

5 minutes earlier

Rose's POV

I was walking through the forest looking for a corrupted gem.

As I was walking a heard a growl and what sounded like soft crying.

I looked to my left and saw the corrupted gems I was looking for, it had a young boy cornered.

"This is the end." I heard the boy softly speak while crying.

Acting quickly I summoned my shield and poofed the corrupted gem and bubbled it.

I went over to the young boy and kneeled down.

"Are you alright?" I asked.

The boy lowered his arms and opened his eyes, which were purple, the boy crawled back a little more and I saw his right hand glow, and a scythe appeared in his hands.

"W-who are y-you?" The boy asked shaking madly.

My POV

"My name is rose quartz, don't worry young one, I'm not going to hurt you." Rose told me.

"H-how can I b-be sure, everytime I l-lower my guard, I get hurt and l-lied to because of it?" I asked still shaking.

"Well, I am the one who saved you from that corrupted gem." She told me.

At that point my scythe disappeared and I cried.

Suddenly I felt a pair of large soft arms wrap around me.

I saw through my teary eyes that rose was the one hugging me.

I wrapped my arms around her and cried.
