Good

"Hi, Bella!" Rosie picked her up out of her rocker, when she woke up from her nap.
"Should we call grandma? Do you want to see grandma?" She gave her kisses on her cheek
   "You're so cute."
She walked back to the couch and got out her phone.
Arabella made some noises that made Rosie laugh.
"You're so adorable. You're just the cutest girl ever." She gave her another kiss.
She started to FaceTime her mother and wait till she picked up.
   "Hi, Rosie." Alice said.
"Hey, mom. Arabella, look, it's grandma. Look." She was looking at Arabella and pointing to her phone.
"Hi, Arabella. How's she doing? How are you doing?" She waved at Arabella.
"We're both good. We have a play date today. Can you believe she's going to be two months next week?" She smiled.
"I can't. Look how big she's getting. That's fun. With who? How was her last appointment?"
"It went good. She had to get a shot though. That was hard to watch. And she weighs 10 pounds. With one of my friends, who's baby is three weeks older then Arabella. Her baby was born a month early." She gave Arabella her pacifier.
"Oh, well have fun. . . Rosie, she looks exactly like you."
Rosie looked at her. Arabella's bright blue eyes stared straight at Rosies bright blue eyes. She did look like Rosie.
"She has your face. And your hair. Start brushing it."
"Mom, she's not even two months."
"I know. But her hair will start to get knots and it'll be even harder to brush. Trust me, I know."
Rosie laughed. "I know. I deal with it everyday." She pointed to her own hair.
"Well I'm glad everything is good. Is Marco ok?"
"Yeah. He's good. He's at work right now."
"Well, I have to go, honey. I'll see you soon, ok? Have fun today."
"Yeah. Bye. Say bye, Arabella." Rosie waved her hand at Alice and then hung up.
"Should we go get ready for our walk? Renee is so excited to meet you." She put her finger on Arabella's hand.
She got up from the couch, put Arabella's mat down on the floor and carefully laid her down on it. She sat next to her and kept her hand on her stomach just incase something happened.
She took out her phone to take a picture of her and send it to Marco.
"You are so cute. Let's go get you changed and fed, and then we can cuddle. How does that sound?" She picked her back up and smiled.
   Arabella made a few noises.
"Do you have something against that?"
Arabella gave a small smile at Rosie.
This was the first time Rosie saw her do that, so she got really excited.
"Did you just smile? Arabella! You just smiled at mama. I wish Marco was here to see that. You're so precious. I love you so much." She kissed her cheek and then smiled back.
She walked upstairs, into the nursery to grab an outfit for Arabella. She picked out a cute, pink dress with cats on it. Then pink pants go with it. She took out a soft blanket for when they go outside.
She carefully placed Arabella down on the changing table and changed her diaper and into her clothes.
"You ready to eat?" She grabbed a cloth and went back downstairs.
She sat back on the couch and sat for thirty minutes, while Arabella was eating.
Once she was done, she got up and burped her. This didn't take long.
She gave her another kiss and sat back down.
She placed Arabella near her upper stomach and chest, then put her head near Arabella's, so that they were touching.
"I love you, Bella. I love you so much. Can you just stay this little forever?" She closed her eyes and enjoyed the time she was spending with Arabella.
After a few minutes she sang to her. This always helped put Arabella to bed.
Arabella's head was getting strong, so when she started to lose more control over her head, Rosie knew she was falling asleep. She continued to sing until Arabella was asleep. Then she got up and put her in her carseat. She walked into the kitchen to grab a snack for herself and water. She wasn't sure how long they were going to be out, so she thought having something was a good idea.
After checking what time it was, she realized it was almost time for them to leave.
She grabbed the blanket she took out, plus and extra one. Grabbed the diaper bag, her coat, and Arabella then headed out the door.
The stroller was already in the car, so she didn't need to worry about that.
She put the carseat in the back seat, then got in the front and started to drive off.

It wasn't a long drive. She could've walked, but thought it would've been better to save her energy for the actual walk.
Once they got their, Rosie parked the car and got out the stroller. She got the stroller together and then got Arabella out.
She was still asleep. She had her pacifier and a little purple stuffed animal next to her arm.
Rosie attached the carseat to the stroller, locked the car and started walking to find Renee.
They had planned to meet up at twelve. Rosie got out her phone and texted Renee.
A few minutes after texting her, Rosie got a text back saying that she was just getting out of her car and would see them soon.
Rosie put her phone away and took out her water.
It was a nice day outside so she only gave Arabella one blanket, but made sure she wasn't too hot or too cold.
She put her bag and the diaper bag on the handle bar of the stroller.
"Hi Rosie." She heard a few minutes later.
She looked up to see Renee with a double stroller with a seat for an infant and one for a toddler. There was a baby in the stroller and a little girl with blonde hair next to Renee.
"Hi!" She got up and gave her a hug.
"How are you?" Renee asked.
"I'm good. What about you?" She gave a smile to the little girl, who was staring at her.
"I'm great. It's so good to see you." She patted Rosies arm.
"Yeah." She smiled at Renee.
"Oh, so this, is Owen." She pointed the baby in stroller, wrapped up in a yellow blanket. "And this," she pointed to the little girl, "is Ally."
The little girl waved at Rosie.
"Hi." She waved back. "Well this, is Arabella Rain. But we only call her Arabella."
"She's so cute." Renee looked at her.
"So is Owen and so is Ally."
Ally walked in front of her mother and stared up and Rosie.
"Is that your baby?" Ally asked.
"Yeah. Is that your baby?" She pointed to Owen.
Ally nodded.
"Ally, how old are you?" Renee asked.
"Three." She jumped.
"Just had her birthday. My oldest, Millie, is at school. She just turned five."
"Can I see your baby?" Ally pointed to the stroller.
"Well, Arabella's asleep right now, but you can still look at her."
Ally stepped onto her toes and looked into the stroller.
"She has a pink blanket." She pointed to the blanket.
"Yeah."
Rosies never really spent time with a toddler before. It was a little weird, but she knew she was going to have to get used to toddlers.
"Mommy, can we go to the slide?"Ally pulled at her mothers hand.
"We can walk over to the playground. Do you want to walk or go in the stroller?"
Ally pointed to the stroller.
Renee helped her into her seat and strapped her in.
They started to walk. The playground was about ten minutes away by walking.
"So, how has everything been?" Renee asked.
"Good. I mean, hard. This is all so new to me, and Marco. He really wants to be a stay at home dad, but we need the money. I go back to work in about a month or so."
"Oh, that's good. Yeah, we have a nanny who helps out during the day when I'm not home. I go back to work in two weeks. I never wanted to be a stay at home mom. My husband was a stay at home dad, for a little while when Millie was a baby. But like you said, we also needed the money."
"Did he have a job before that?"
"Yeah, it wasn't what he wanted to do though. He worked at an office. It didn't pay much anyway. He now has a steady job. He still wants to stay home with the kids, but maybe when we're older."
"Yeah. Molly Said that I can take her to work with me. So for my first week I'll probably take her a few days. There's enough people to watch her when I can't. My mom said she can take care of her when I can't take her. I'm still breastfeeding and we don't plan on stopping soon, so I'll have to take breaks anyway, even if I don't bring her to work with me."
They talked more until they reached the playground.
Renee helped Ally out of the stroller so she could go play, and Rosie and Renee sat on the park bench near Ally.
Rosie moved the stroller closer to herself so she could look at Arabella.
"She's two months?" Renee asked.
"No, well almost. Next week."
"So Owen's only a little bit older then her."
"He's so cute." Rosie smiled. "I haven't seen his eyes, but he and Ally look similar."
"Oh, yeah. All of my kids look alike. They have my eyes but the rest of their face is my husband. And their hair. They all have light blonde hair."
"Everyone says Arabella looks like me. She has Marcos nose though."
Renee looked at Arabella. "She definitely has your hair."
   "Yeah, that she definitely has."
A few minutes later, Ally came running over to them.
"Mommy, I don't want to play anymore." She put her head on her mothers lap.
"Are you tired?" Renee asked, looking at her phone. "It's about time for your nap."
"Can I have my puppy?" She pointed to the diaper bag that was attached to the stroller.
"Yes, you can have your puppy."
Renee took out a pink stuffed animal and handed it to Ally.
Ally hugged it and got back into her seat. Renee put a pink blanket over her and strapped her back into the seat, so she didn't fall out.
Ally put her thumb in her mouth and closed her eyes.
  "She's very independent." Rosie stated.
"Yeah. She's very independent and a very calm child. She doesn't normally throw tantrums or bother her siblings. She was very good when Owen came. Millie had a harder time." She laughed.
"I can't imagine having three kids. I couldn't even imagine having one before her." She pointed to Arabella.
    They started to walk more.
"Do you plan on having more?"
"Oh, we haven't thought about that. I don't know if we do plan on it and if we do it won't be for a long time. I love Arabella, but she was definitely a surprise."
"Yeah, I didn't mean to freak you out."
"Oh, you didn't."
   "Ok, good."
They kept talking, until Arabella decided to wake up and start to cry.
Rosie pushed the stroller back and forth.
"Shh. It's ok. She didn't sleep for very long."
   "Does she have trouble sleeping?"
"Sometimes, but only when she's really cold or hot or not feeling well. But she did sleep for a long time this morning. And it's only been about two hours after her first nap and she got at least an hour now. So I guess this makes sense." She picked her up.
"Shh, shh, shh. It's ok baby, it's ok. You're ok. Mama's right here." She kissed her cheek.
   She started to calm down.
"You're alright." She gave Arabella her pacifier back.
"She really does look like you." Renee commented.
Rosie smiled. "Do you wanna say hi?" She rubbed Arabella's hand.
  "Hi Arabella."
She started to cry again.
"Bella, it's ok. You're alright. I know this is all so new to you. I know. Shh. It's ok." She rocked her and kissed her head. "I really wanna stay and talk more, but I think it's time I got her home."
"Yeah I think I should probably get these two home. I need to pick up Millie soon anyway."
"It was so nice to see you. We should do this again."
"Yeah. I would love to have you all over for dinner one day."
"I would love that. Um, I'll see you soon."
"Yep. Bye Rosie." She gave her a side hug so she didn't bump into Arabella.
  "Bye." She hugged her back.
Rosie turned the stroller around and headed for her car.
"It's ok baby. It's ok. Shh."
Once she got to her car, she put Arabella in the carseat and put the carseat back into the car.
She quickly got the stroller into the trunk and went back to Arabella.
"Shh, we're gonna go home. It's ok. Here's your pacifier and your blanket. It's ok."
She checked her diaper, but she didn't need a change.
She closed the door, got into the front seat and started driving.
"Bella, we're gonna be home soon, baby."
She continued to cry, so Rosie sang to get until they got home.
She parked and went to get Arabella.
"Let's go inside. Shh, daddy's going to be home soon. Shh."
She walked up the steps and opened the door. She put the carseat on the floor and got Arabella out of it.
  "Look, we're home. Everything's ok. You're ok."
She sat on the couch and continued to sing. It eventually started to calm Arabella down. She didn't go back to sleep, but she wasn't crying either.

They spent the next thirty minutes relaxing. At around one thirty, Rosie realized that Arabella needed to be fed again.
It usually takes Arabella about a half hour to forty five minutes to eat, so when Marco came home, she was still feeding her.
"Hi." He said when he walked through the door.
   "Hey." She said back.
"How's your day been?" He put his coat in the closet.
"Pretty good. Arabella smiled at me. What about you?"
He walked over to her. "That's amazing, I wish I could've seen that. It was also good. You tired?"
"A little. Not so much though. I had a great time with Renee today."
  "Good." He smiled at her.
He gave her a kiss, then sat next to her.
Rosie finished feeding Arabella and handed her over to Marco. She put her head on his shoulder, and he put his arm around her and they all sat quietly, watching a movie for the next hour, relaxing, together.
