Thalia's P.O.V

I won't lie to you, I threw a tantrum. Sort of. I screamed and shouted and cried but I knew Percy was gone. And I knew I couldn't help him. Yet. I sat on my bed in Artemis' cabin, staring at my hands.

"Why can't we go and rescue him?" I asked.

"You know what Artemis said." Phoebe said softly. I sighed.

"Yeah. I know." I mumbled.

"It's dinner time. You gonna come?" She asked. After a while I gave in. The campers were in high spirits but the hunters were all silent throughout the meal, as well as the campfire. I stared glumly into the fire. Annabeth sat next to and slung her arm around my shoulder.

"Hey Thal's. What's up?" She asked with a smile. I shrugged her arm off of me.

"Don't Thal's me." I spat. She looked shocked.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"I know what you did." I hissed.

"What?" She asked again.

"I know that Percy didn't break up with you! You broke up with him!" I growled. She looked surprised.

"How...how...how did you..." She stuttered.

"Yeah. I know that you lied to everyone and that you broke his heart." I said angrily, stood up and left her gaping at me. I lay in my bed but couldn't sleep so I decided to patrol the border. The moonlight shone down on me, illuminating the pathway. I sighed sadly. Dammit. I let him down again. I held back the tears gathering. I froze in my tracks as I saw a familiar looking wolf lying on the ground. Blood soaked the ground around it as I recognised it.

"Percy." I whispered and ran to him.

"Thalia..." he whispered before falling unconscious.
