I was sitting in the chair next to Ash's bed with Bonnie sitting in my lap, who had cried herself to sleep. I looked over at Pikachu, who was still trying to wake up Ash. I'm sorry for both of them. Neither can't live without each other.

But to cheer up the mood, I said to Pikachu, "Hey...It's going to be alright. Nurse Joy is going to perform the operation to save him. She wouldn't let a patient die without a fight. After that, Ash will wake up and you'll be the first thing he'll see."

"Pika pi...?" Pikachu asked, almost pleading.

"I'm sure of it. Positively sure."

Pikachu looked back at Ash and then leaped onto my chest. He looked at me with this look that said, "hug me please". So I hugged him and he broke down in tears.

Suddenly, the door opened and Lucario ran in and saw Pikachu, Bonnie and I.

"What's wrong, Lucario?" I said, causing Pikachu to jump down to the floor and start growling angrily at Lucario. Sparks being released out of its electric cheeks.

"Carrrrarrarrrr." Lucario growled, serious but not angry.

"Piiiiikaaaaa." Pikachu growled back.

Korrina and Serena ran into the room. "Pikachu, Lucario wants to let you take out your anger out on him. He won't fight back." Korrina said.

"Pika?!" Pikachu said surprised.

"He says since he's the one who did this to Ash, he should take the punishment." Serena said.

"Pika, pika pika! Chu! Pikachu!" Pikachu agreed, then ran out the door.

Lucario followed Pikachu. Serena and Korrina looked at me. "I'm going to tuck Bonnie in bed. I'll meet you there." I said.

They nodded and left the room. I look down at Bonnie and shake her a little bit, just to wake her up a little so that she can get on my back. It worked and she did. I carried her down the escalator, to the lobby and asked Wigglytuff, "Is there a room big enough for one person to sleep in?"

"Wigglytuff!" Wigglytuff said. Then gestured me to follow. We followed her down the hall and stopped in front of a door.

"Wigglytuff." Wigglytuff said as she gestured the door to open. The door opened and revealed a lighted bedroom.

"Thank you." I thanked her as Wigglytuff went back up the hall. Legs tired and burning, I walked slowly to the bed. Pulling back some of the blankets, I laid Bonnie down, and tucked her in. I kissed her forehead, and walked out the room, closing the door behind me. Suddenly I felt a strong urge to get to the battlefield. I ran as fast as I could. But, I admit I'm not that fast of a runner. Exhausted, I finally got there, and saw Korrina and Serena standing next to the battlefield. Pikachu and Lucario were standing face to face, a approximately 10 feet away from each other.

"What's going on? Has the battle started, yet?" I asked panting.

"No, not yet. But, Pikachu is getting angrier and angrier by the second. I've never seen him so furious." Serena said.

Pikachu suddenly shot forward and used Quick Attack, slamming into Lucario; causing him to fly backward, hitting the ground with a loud thud. Pikachu used Thunderbolt, Lucario was electrocuted, and a thundering BOOM filled the area. When the smoke cleared, Lucario was kneeling on one knee panting hard, lots of static electricity bouncing all over his fur. One by one Pikachu's attacks landed, and Lucario enduring through the whole thing. After a while, the sun started to set and Pikachu was getting tired.

"Piikaaachuuuu!!!!" Pikachu screamed using Thunderbolt.

"Carrrrr!!" Lucario shouted in pain, getting shocked yet again.

"Chuuuuuaaaaa Pika!" Pikachu screamed using Iron Tail.

"Caaarrrr!" Lucario flew backward crashing into a rock.

I've never seen Pikachu so angry in my whole time of knowing him. Lucario was just taking the attacks, not fighting back. I felt the strong urge to stop the fight but also had a feeling it would only make things worse.

Eventually, when Pikachu was doing a Quick Attack, he slowed down when he got close to Lucario and fell into his lap, broke down in tears. Lucario wrapped his paws around him and Pikachu let him.

"Wow..." Korrina said speechless.

"He was so angry at him doing this to Ash, and Lucario was willing to let him unleash it onto him. That is...true faith in the idea that they'll become friends again." Serena said solemnly.

"That was an unfair fight. But I'm glad that Pikachu was able to let out some or all of that energy." I said seriously.

I looked up and noticed that it was mid-evening. The lamps on the posts have turned on. I suddenly heard the door from the Pokémon Center open. We turned, and saw Nurse Joy at the door, beaming.

"I am proud to announce that the operation was a SUCCESS! Ash is feeling a lot better now." She announced.
