You walk up to Diaval and give him a quick peck on the lips and stand next to him while Aurora stands in front of Godmother.

"I have something for you."

Maleficent just stares a bit uncomfortably at the cloth.

"For your horns. I just thought it might make Philip's family feel more comfortable. And you, as well. Maybe it's a bad idea."

"No, it's... It's alright."

Aurora becomes excited. "I'm so excited!"

"It's more than I can bear," Maleficent says, gritting her teeth a little.

It was beginning to get to nightfall, and the four of you were walking toward Ulstead. You and Maleficent created a bridge out of thick vines and walked over the giant river to the castle. The closer you got, you heard people screaming, "It's Maleficent!" and they were holding pitchforks and torches that were on fire. Maleficent even put her wings around the three of you for protection and she said, "Pitchforks? Humans are hilarious."

"It's getting better," Diaval said.

You kept walking to the castle. You finally got inside. Diaval saw a picture of a bear and he spoke to Maleficent. "Have you ever considered turning me into a bear? I think I'd make quite an impressive one. Look at their claws. They're so strong."

"Why are we talking about bears?" Maleficent said, a bit distracted.

"You would absolutely look magnificent as a bear, Honey." he smiles at you

Aurora went in and you trhee waited at the door a view minits later you all where gald in Presenting Maleficent.

You and thee walked into the dining hall, and Philip spoke to Maleficent. "Maleficent, it's wonderful to see you again. This is my father, King John of Ulstead, and my mother, Queen Ingrith.

Welcome to our home," King John said, a bit unsure of the situation.

It's so very kind of you to invite me this evening.

"Don't smile," Diaval said under his breath, but she did anyway. Aurora spoke to Philip's parents. "And I would like to introduce you to my big sister, (Y/N), and her husband, Diaval." You and Diaval gave a small bow to them.

"I trust you had no trouble finding the castle," John said.

"Why would I have trouble?"

Our coats were taken away, and Diaval said something to Maleficent, and I said, "No trouble at all." We were all sitting at the dinner table. I was sitting on Diaval's right side, while Maleficent was on his left and also sitting beside Aurora. Dinner was being served, and the staff said, "Your Majesties, ladies and gentlemen, dinner is served."

"Bird. Delicious," Maleficent said while looking at Diaval. I gave her a "really?" look. You looked at the cutlery in front of you. You and Maleficent couldn't touch it, so you were both hesitant about what to do. Then, Queen Ingrith said, "Is there a problem?"

"It's iron," Diaval said, holding a fork up.

"Your Majesty, as you are sensitive to flowers, she and my sister are averse to iron."

"I had no idea. Take it away at once. I trust you'll both be comfortable using your hands?" Queen Ingrith said

That's when Philip said, "What a warm spell of weather, isn't it?"

"It certainly is," Aurora answered him. Then King John spoke. "Well, we have a small gift for Philip and Aurora... to celebrate their glorious future together."

You saw that they brought in a crib, and Queen Ingrith said, "I simply can't wait to have a little one running through the castle again."

"This castle?"

"Yes, of course. This will be their home."

You felt the tension rise in the room as you heard King John speak. "I hear Aurora has a castle of her own."

"Yes, sir, I do. But it's actually my sister and me that own it."

"Yes... I'm curious. How did Aurora become Queen of the Moors?" Ingrith asked.

"I made her queen," Maleficent said.

"Her castle is quite stunning. You must see it," Philip said.

"Yes, but in fact, she has another castle. Does she not?"

"Mother..." Philip said under his breath.

"One in the Moors, and one left behind by her father. King Stefan, was it not?"

"That castle was never our home. It was given to the people," Aurora said.

"What I'm missing is some wine." Philip tried to change the subject, to no avail.

"Stolen by human poachers," Maleficent said.

"That's the first I've heard of it," John said.

"Someone gave the order." Her hand was beginning to give off green magic, but Aurora noticed and placed her hand on hers to calm her down.

"It sounds as if you're accusing the king," Ingrith said, accusingly.

"No, she never said that," Philip interjected.

"Wait... Sorry, who would steal a fairy?" John questioned.

A guard sitting next to Philip spoke up. "Your Majesty, I must report that two peasants were found dead... just outside the Moors. They'd been missing for several days."

"I see," John said.

"Yes, we all see. The borders are open, but humans are not welcome. Isn't that right?" Ingrith said.

"What exactly are you implying, Your Majesty?" Aurora asked her.

"Innocent men are being slaughtered on the Moors... and she's talking about fairies."

There was a cat that was bothering Diaval the whole time. The cat was sitting on the table next to us, and it jumped toward us but was stopped in midair by Maleficent. She said, "Contain your animal, or I will."

"If I didn't know better, I'd say you were making a threat," Ingrith said.

"Well, do you?" Maleficent asked her in return.

"Do I what?"

"Know better?" Maleficent asked.

"Enough," John said to Ingrith.

"Put her down. Please, put her down," Aurora asked in a whisper.

We're here to celebrate. John said,

"Forgive me, he's right. Let's not forget why we're here. The start of a new life for Aurora. Cheers."

Some at the table said cheers when Ingrith spoke. "You have done an admirable job, Maleficent... going against your own nature to raise this child. But now...
Aurora will finally get... the love of a real family. A real mother. Because the one thing I regret... is never having a daughter of my own. But tonight changes that. Tonight, I consider Aurora my own." Again, and might I add, she said it in a menacing way. She was pushing Maleficent's buttons, and you knew it. And that last word was the last straw for Maleficent. She got up from her seat and used her wings to push everyone away. She was even surrounded by green fire made by her magic. Everyone ran away.

"Guards!" the guards came running at while Ingrith yelled, "We have opened our home to a witch!"

The guards were gaining on us, but Maleficent made quick work of them. She threw them against the walls on either side. Aurora jumped out of her seat and yelled, "Stop!" at Maleficent.

"There is no union. There will be no wedding," Maleficent said, looking at Aurora.

"Maleficent!" Philip yelled.

"We must protect the king!" Ingrith said while walking over to her husband.

"Maleficent, please, stop now," John asked her.

"John, I'm so frightened," Ingrith said.

"What has she done to me?" John said. He collapsed onto the floor, not waking up at all.

Father!

John!

We go home. Maleficent said to Aurora

John! It's a curse. It's a curse! Maleficent has cursed the king! Ingrith accuses

What have you done? Aurora questions and Maleficent said I've done nothing.

Aurora walks over to Philip and his father and sits on the ground next to them. Maleficent walks over to them but stays at a distance. You and Diaval stand up from the table and walk over to Maleficent. She asks, "Aurora, shall we go home now? Aurora!"

"Wake him! Please wake him," Aurora begs. "Godmother, you knew something was off the whole time, and you didn't believe the Queen at all."

You and Maleficent see more guards coming your way, and Maleficent takes flight. Diaval changes back into his raven form. You also take flight, feeling unsafe. Maleficent flies out first through a window, breaking it. You follow her as quickly as you can.

Unable to find her outside the castle, you and Diaval fly side by side when Diaval repeatedly changes in and out of his raven form, which confuses you. You try to catch him to prevent him from falling hard to the ground. When you do catch him, you both fall sideways into a hedge. "Are you all right (Y/N)?" Diaval said with concern in his voice as he stood up, "He held his hand out to you, and you took it.

I'm okay, Diaval. Are you okay as well? What happened? My amulet isn't supposed to do that. I'm so, so sorry, Diaval.

It's quite alright, love. It wasn't your fault. Let's get back to the moors and try to find Maleficent.

You nodded at him, and you both walked the rest of the way to the moors, hoping to find some answers.
