Chapter Two Vision

On our way to our seats, Dillan stepped on my shoe lace which was untied, tripping me. He said he was sorry but the way he said it made me doubt he meant it.

I felt a slight pain coming from my hand and glanced down at it, finding that I had cut it. I decided to ignore it for now and began to take my seat.

Soon after we sat down the air show began. The first few minutes was an amazing sight, but something suddenly changed. One of the planes was going faster then all the others. It made a sudden turn and it collided with another plane.

Everyone around me was shocked into silence, but it didn't last long. Screams soon began to fill the air as the other aircraft began to crash and fly out of control, causing them to explode on impact. As the chaos in the air grew, one jet managed to escape the carnage, but it was headed right for us.

Everyone was in panic, and we all tried to make a run for it. Halfway to the exit of the stadium someone shoved past Shane and he slammed into a stone pillar. Trying to stand up, a sudden free flying propeller flew out of nowhere, slicing Shane in half.

The propeller hit the stone pillar, causing it to crack, when suddenly the weakened structure gave way, and the roof began to collapse.

As the roof fell like rain around us, a  large chunk of the roof landed on top of Payton, crushing her beneath it.

One of the burning jets hit Dillan, separating Dillans upper half from his bottom half.

While Ava was running a plane blew up right beside the chain link fence. The blast power launched a metal bar right through Ava's chest. She gasped, clutching at the bar, before she collapsed, a pool of blood surrounding her body.

As the roof continued to collapse, we continued to run for the exit, but a stray chunk of roof tripped Tim. He fell to the ground and was trampled beneath the stampeding crowd. Not being able to get up he laid there, pain coursing through his body. Until the same plane that killed Dillan ran into Tim, slamming him against the wall leaving nothing but a bloody stain.

The seats we had been sitting on weren't very strong, so when we made a run for it, many people kicked their chairs hard enough that they broke. When Amanda was running somebody shoved her too, causing her to fall straight into one of the jagged edges of a chair, skewering half her head.

Tiffany and I ran for our lives, tears of  terror and sadness running down our cheeks. People were dying around us, as planes and ceiling pieces crushed and maimed them.

We were so focused on our escape, we didn't see one of the planes that hadn't crashed yet crashed right behind us. Tiffany suddenly stumbled, shoving me forward. I stumbled forwards, twisting around. She tried to run again, but the plane suddenly exploded, flames shooting from the wrecked aircraft, consuming Tiffany in the blast.

The blast radius sent me flying back, slamming me into a metal pole that was sticking out of a wall. Seconds after I felt the pole go through my chest, I heard my name being said.

''Elijah are you ok?''
