And I sat with Rose. She was caramel smooth, finely contoured, delicately featured and doe-like. In fact, Roslynn has that special beauty and body feature that I've always wanted. I looked at her as she scrolled through her phone.

As I heard, she was the only child of a barrister and her parents were divorced years ago when she was only three. Her mum had married three other prominent men and had divorced again. It wasn't story that Rose was richly spoilt as she dropped out of college and started following Joel. He became her life and future. People say to love isn't by force. This rule didn't exist in Roslynn's dictionary.

I sat down and watched her for a while. The plasma television was on but she wasn't even watching the program. Playing, was an Indian series, Gangaa. It was quite interesting but I soon lose interest.

For every look I have, she rolls her eyes at me.

"Hello" I greeted.

"Hi" She replied with a rapturous smile and continued what she was doing. She didn't even turn to me.

"I see you're busy. I don't mean to disturb you but... I'll like to know you more. I mean, what do you do on weekends? Shouldn't you visit your parents?"

She acted dump as if she wasn't even in the room and I was stunned. Why wouldn't she reply me. I stood up and moved closer to her, then our eyes met again.

"I was talking to you, Rose. Did you even heard what I just say?"

"Oh! That... Aren't you going anywhere today?"

"Yes, it's weekend. I decided to stay home and take care of Grandmum."

"That's nice."

"What about you? Why are you here?Tell me about yourself."

To every question I asked, she took a drag from the reefer in her hand, blow out smoke through her mouth and nostrils,took a sip of Hennessy and coke on ice before she responded.
