Chapter 8- Evil Heroes

"Ahh!! Use the door next time, you'll hurt yourself going through the window!!" Inko cried as you squeezed through the window and landed on the floor. Ever since the interaction of you and Inko, Izuku slowly tried to introduce to more humans, once at a time.
"Is he here?" You asked, looking around.

"No, he just left for UA, didn't he say goodbye to you?" She asked and you nodded.
"I just wanted to see him go," You mumbled, and poked at a vase with your tail, wondering why they had that.
"Don't worry, he'll be back before you know it!" She smiled warmly, and brought out a plate of tea and food.

"Do you need anything? Anything to eat, sleep, any stuff animals?" You felt overwhelm by the many questions she gave you, and your ears twitched a little bit.
"N- no..." Izuku said she means well whenever she bombards with questions, but you never had those before.

"Oh, sorry if I'm getting up your space! It's just so exciting to have Izuku make a new friend after all this time, especially now when he needed it more than ever!" She apologized and bowed.
"It is alright,

"If you want to sleep in a bed, we have a spare room for you!" She gestured to a hallway, but you just shook your head with a small smile.
"Small rooms freak me out, I'll be in my cave," You said, and waved her goodbye, before jumping on a still and out of the window.

"THERE'S A DOOR!! DON'T HURT YOURSELF WITH THAT!!"

"Sorry!"

'His Ma is very kind, reminds me of my Aunt Meatlug,' You thought happily, looking around at the scenery. Other animals living their home, living together in harmony.
'If only humans an dragons lived like that just like before,' You sighed, and made your way to the pond.

You lowered your head to drink the water, enjoying the nice feeling, until you heard a snap of a twig. You immediately lifted your head to listen, trying to sense anything.
'Keep guard,' You thought, taking a step back, until you heard a click and something metal.

'MOVE!!' You quickly did, and felt something woods behind you. You turn to see some kind of trap, it was lifted up to form a net and hung around a tree branch.
'Odin's beard-?!' You then heard things moving from bushes, and felt something hot behind you.

You turn and set a plasma blast, hitting the ball of fire and ignited an explosion. You got knocked back and quickly got up to see fire on the grass, but a figure walked through the fire slowly.

"I got you, villain," It was a human, very tall and engulfed with flames. You gave a deep growl and let out a roar before releasing a plasma blast. He used his flames to protect himself, and charged at you.

"All Might may haven't caught you, but sure as hell will!!" He shouted, striking a fire punch down on you. You quickly dodged and grabbed his worst with your tail, using your strength to swing him into a tree.
'Yer damn human!! I didn't do anything!' You thought angrily.

"They says the best and most intelligent villains hide in the shadows. Which is why I'll be the only one who will take you down," The human glared at you, and sent another wave of fire. You covered yourself with your wings and get the fire hit you, but you quickly recovered.

'Fireproof scales, yer eel!' You thought proudly and set another plasma blast at him. You jumped away from him charging at you, and you felt something underneath you click.
'Thor Almighty!' You quickly flew up to avoid the trap, but roared in pain at the pressure around your tail.

The trap only hit your tail, and you fell over, hitting the ground hard.
"Gotcha," The human gave a dark grin, and set his fist on fire, making you hiss at him. You tugged at the trap, seeing it move, which made you have an idea.

As the human threw down a flamed punch, you quickly swung your tail hard, hitting his side harshly and made him. He yelled out and stumbled back a little bit, which gave you enough time to tear through the net, biting all around the metal and threw it off of your tail.

'Goodbye forever!' You spat at him and ran off, hearing him shout in anger. You kept on avoiding the traps, jumping over them and blasting your way through. You dove into your cave, blading one last plasma blast to turn invisible.

You panted heavily, looking back to see if that hero was still chasing you.
'Nothing,' You thought, before you started to shake a little.
'Too close. Too close! Why?!' Your knees buckled and you covered your head again with your paws.

'Why are heroes and humans so evil?!'

"Breaking News: The Serpent Stalker strikes again with destroying out beloved forest! Flame Hero: Endeavor was chasing down the horrid villain and lead it towards traps set to capture the Serpent Stalker, but failed and allowed the villain to run free once more!"

"Mom!" Izuku burst opened the door, frantically looking around to see his mom sitting on the couch, watching the Tv with worry.
"I saw what happened, they haven't come back since they wanted to take a walk! Do you know where they are?" She worriedly asked him, taking note of his arm in a sling.

He thought for a second, and perked up.
"I do!" He thanked his mom and ran out the door.
"Be careful! There's still traps out there!" His mom yelled as he raced down the street, following the path that led into the forest.

He made his way into an unknown path, and made it to the cave you lived in. He saw you deep inside, back facing him as your ears drooped, and knees to your chest, not saying anything.

"What happened?! I just saw what happened on the news, where were you?!" He worriedly asked, trying to catch his breath. You said nothing as you curled yourself closer into a ball.

"Are you..." He trailed off, noticing you were not fine at all, and said nothing. He just sat down behind you and watched you turned your head slowly.
"Heroes... bad..." You croaked out, tears threatening to spill out.

"I didn't do anything... tried to get a drink from pond... I did nothing..." You spat out, hatred for heroes grew. Izuku listened to you rant, I feeling guilty that you experienced this with him not being there.
"Why... yer have to be... a hero?" You sniffed, covering yourself with your wings.

He stayed silent, trying to figure out some words.
'I wish we both had the same views, but not all of us can. Look at villains... but they're not a villain, and they need to understand what other people are saying about them are not true!' He thought.

"Because... I want to save people. And if I can't save you... then what kind of hero will I be?" He mumbled.
"I promise, that when I do become a pro hero, I'll show you that heroes can safe for you. Prove those people that you are not a villain or an evil monster," He said with a determined look on his face.

You stared at him, with slight doubt that he will change your views, but slowly nodded. He realized that you weren't fully convinced, but he didn't want to force his beliefs on you. So he crouched down next to you and placed a hand on your shoulder.

"How about we watch one of my favorite movies? It's about two people with families in war, but they fell in love. The twist? They're gnomes!" He said with a small smile, which made you give a weak one.

"Okay," You stood up, and he carefully led you out of the cave, where he held your hand softly and moved you to avoid any traps he noticed.
"We better hurry, my mom is worried sick since she saw the news," He said, and your ears drooped.

"I need to apologize for scaring her,"

"It wasn't your fault! It never was!"

"...Yeah... it wasn't,"
