Chapter 3- Down Dragon

"You two are really something!!" The sludge thing cackled as it created a massive fire and explosion in a convenience store. Heroes and civilians were nearby, looking at the scene.
"It has a hostage!!" The water hero pointed out and spotted the blond boy named Katsuki Bakugou.

"How dare you prey on a child?!" Death arms shouted and charged to attack. But the moment he landed a punch, the sludge made his fist sink inside.
"What is this?! Some kind of goo?!" He couldn't say anything as as the villain knocked him down.

"It's the villain that attacked me..." Came a mutter from the same boy, Izuku Midoriya, as he stood behind the crowd. He immediately felt shame. He was the cause that All Might dropped the villain.

He wasn't the only one feeling trapped.

You couldn't move at all, it was like your body was nothing but a rag doll. You tried everything, scratch, bite, but it was all futile.
'Dammit, I need to get out. I can't breathe!' You wanted to flap your wings, but it wasn't working at all.

"Look!! It has the dragon villain with it too!" Someone screamed, and the heroes spotted the dragon villain inside, moving around and poking their head out. Of course, they couldn't see that you were struggling to be free.

"Shit! They're working together!" Death Arms growled as more fire spread out, causing the heroes to back down and help civilians. You felt the human that was stuck with you struggle to, and he managed to rip his face out of the sludge.

"Get me out of here!! You messed with the wrong guy to mess with!!" You heard the human shout something, but you still couldn't understand, though you could guess he was angry. Suddenly, an explosion appears next to you, and you flinched, but couldn't move as you were stuck.

"Now, let's see your quirk, ally!!" The sludge screamed and you felt your muscle tightened. The sludge was confused, not being able to control you into using your quirk. Then he realized something.

"What the-?!"

"I'M DONE PLAYING!!"

'Let. Me. GO!!'

Thunder was heard, and clouds swirled the sky. The sludge suddenly was sparking with purple electricity, and a glow was seen from inside. Izuku heard a high pitch sound coming from the villain as the sludge was starting to panic.

"The ally! What is it-?!"

"GET DOWN!!"

BOOM

One big and powerful thunder bold was struck down from the sky, directly hitting the sludge villain. Dust surrounded everything, and Izuku opened his eyes to see All Might shielding him. Along with that, wings was spreading from behind the sludge, and something was shout out of the villain.

"Wh-wha-?!"

"DETROIT SMAAAAAASHHHHH!!!!"

"WOW!! HE'S AMAZING!!" Everyone cheered and clapped at All Might finally defeating the sludge villain, with Izuku and Bakugou either being praised or scolded.
'At least Kacchan is safe, right?' Izuku thought, but then heard someone.

"Hey, look! Over there!" Everyone looked as everyone saw the dragon slowly get up, before looking around and spreading their wings again.
'This was a mistake, Da was right. I wasn't ready at all! I need to get out of here!' You thought and started to fly off.

"They're getting away!" Death Arms yelled as All Might watched in confusion and in awe.
"Oh no, you don't!" Kamui Woods shouted and stretched his arms to make a trunk, swinging it to aim it towards you.

You felt something sharp hit your body, tightening around your tail. Your eyes widened, trying to flap your wings higher and higher into the sky. However, you knew that even with any more force, you just couldn't fly.

Because of one thing your Da told you.

"A down dragon is a dead dragon. So make sure yer keep that tailwing safe (Y/N), or else yer'll be like yer old Da!"

"Breaking News: From an alliance to betrayal, the Serpent Stalker joined with a Sludge villain to commit heinous crimes, but soon turned their back on the sludge and escaped without any traces, after Kamui Woods managed to trap them with a wooden binding.

More information will be heard in 30 minutes,"

Izuku sighed and rubbed his face with his hands.
'I wonder if they're able to find the villain. It seemed very powerful with that thunder strike,' He thought.
"Wait... if their quirk is able to transform into a dragon, then did they summon the lightning?" He mumbled out loud.

"Izuku, can you help me cut up these tomatoes? We ran out of salt, and I'm quickly going to buy some more," He heard his mother call out.
"Okay mom," He got up as he heard his mom leave, and grabbed the kitchen knife, and started slicing the tomatoes.

He looked outside, where the woods were, and started into space for a moment, forgetting the tomatoes and walked towards the window.

'I wonder...'

Izuku walked through the woods, mindlessly winging the kitchen knife he had while mumbling.
"If they can just disappear in the sky, but at the same time summon lightning... UGH!! Why is this villain shed to crack?!" He shouted in frustration.

He smacked a hanging branch because of it, but he ended up getting hit by it. He groaned in pain and looked at it, realizing that it looked like it was crashed into. He also realized a trail of smashed dirt was a leading to a slope.

He followed, curious getting the better of him, and he cautiously slide down the path, looking back at the big mess. When he turned back, he almost hit something in front of him.

And it was breathing.

"Ahh!! The villain!!" Izuku screamed, covering his mouth and frantically looked around.
'I gotta get All Might! He'll take this villain to the station!' He slowly got up, not knowing he still had the knife in his hand.

"I'm... going to get All Might, villain. I'm going to get him, and you'll be taken to justice," He said, standing up, trying to fake an intimidating stare.
"I'm hero. I'm a hero!" He then turned to march off.

The dragon suddenly started to make small groans of struggle, trying to shift and twist. Izuku looked back, fear slowly fading as he realized what the dragon was doing.
'They're... afraid,' He thought, watching as their eyes moved around, and landed on him.

He froze, but then saw them stop and laid their head on the ground and closed their eyes, seemingly giving up.
'This is my chance, to leave and get this villain to justice!' He scrambled up and turn to run off, but stopped.

'...'

Swish

The dragon's eyes snapped out as they saw a glint in the boy's hand, and felt something close press against their scales. They panicked and tried to let out a roar, but was weak by the impact they gained.
"Hey, hey! It's okay!" Izuku shushed them, trying to make sure they're not going to make any more noises.

"You need to go, now! Before the heroes catch you!" He said, and used the knife to slice up the wooden bindings, each layer of rope cutting with ease. The ropes fell on the ground, and when Izuku thought it was enough cutting, he tried to stand up.

Thud

Izuku gasped, feeling their paws pushing hard on his shoulders. He stared up straight into the dragon's eyes. They stared down with intimidation, anger, and piercing his soul. But they also had fear swirled in them.

"RRRRROOOOOOAAAAARRRRR!!!!!"

The dragon screeched in his face, before spreading their wings and flying off deep into the forest, disappearing in the shadow. Izuku gasped in shock, sitting up straight up and just watched the dragon leave.

"...Woah..." He breathed out, standing up while breathing heavily. He turned to walk away, but his legs weighted out and he collapsed out of fear.

'Shit...'
